Kade was soon done with his childish treat and walked away but I wasn’t as calm as I sounded, I looked at Azalea and she was happy because I backed her up…I was also happy because happiness was the only thing I wanted, all I wanted to see was a smile on her face at all times and she never deprived me of that….
I smiled back at her subconsciously before looking away, “You shouldn’t mind him, If truly she was seeing things and kept having nightmares we like to have heard her shouts at least once or twice but none of that has happened.” Azalea said before looking at me with a smile.
Just when I was about to reply to her my phone beeped and when I checked it was a message from my Beta letting me know that the priest I had sent on an errand had arrived.
“I need to go, I have very important things to attend to,” I said to her and stood up even before she could question my reasons,
As I walked down the hallway I hoped that he had found a way and that the priest had nothing but good news for me…. I made sure to check if Azalea was following me because with the kind of facial expression she gave me I knew she seemed to be suspicious of what I wanted to do.
I got to the room at the end of the palace and slowly opened the door, the priest was tied to the wall with both his hands up in the air and his mouth sealed to stop him from shouting even though I knew that particular precaution wasn’t necessary as no one would still hear his screams from here, my beta noticed my presence and paved way for me to enter.
“Was he able to find where Azalea’s real second chance mate was?” I asked my beta who shrugged.
“I don’t think so and funny enough no matter how I force him he still won’t say anything.” My beta said and that was enough to anger me, I walked quickly toward the priest who was scared of me as I got closer to him.
“How dare you return to this place without any words of what I had sent you, are you even a real priest?!!” I yelled and with anger slapped him hard on the face, he began to spit my blood and at the same time tried to catch his breath while I looked at him with a smirk.
“Start talking,” I ordered and in a trembling state he nodded.
“I…I couldn’t…I couldn’t find any trace of her second chance mate.” The priest trembled but I still wasn’t satisfied, I had expected good news and nothing more.
“What do you mean you couldn’t find a trace of Azalea mate? Are you saying she doesn’t have a second chance mate because that can’t be possible…the moon goddess is never wrong you should know that.” I was warned.
” I swear to you I have done a lot of things and even went against the norms of werewolves just to find her mate but it is impossible since she is a weak omega.” How dare he label the most precious person in my life weak, I raised his head while holding to his chin so tightly he was almost bleeding.
“How dare you call my mate a weak omega!!!” I yelled in Annoyance.
“Do you know how badly she would have felt if she heard those words from your mouth!!” I yelled, making even my beta step back in fright.
“I am sorry my Alpha I was only labeling her with what she was, I would have found her second chance mate if she wasn’t that way.” The priest still said,
“You can’t just tell me this and expect me to be happy with you, what are the alternative ways of getting her to come in contact with him…I need to kill whoever that bastard is!!!” I yelled while kicking the priest in the guts as my beta tried to step in but the way I looked at him made him stop.
“I am sorry my alpha but can I get another chance, her inner wolf might be weak but that won’t stop her from finding out when exactly she is with her mate, she won’t be able to resist it even if she is trying to avoid it…no matter how deeply locker her inner wolf is she would feel a sexual urge and her mate would feel it, even if he is hiding the fact that he is truly her mate he won’t be able to keep it hidden for long.” The priest said and for the first time, I was feeling a bit happy and filled with hope.
“So what you are trying to tell me is that she is my mate?” I asked in a confused state.
“Are you the only one who feels an urge with mostly sexual urges?” He asked and I started to think otherwise, I clearly wasn’t the only one aside from Kade who felt that urge.
“Stop saying rubbish and be serious with what I asked you!!!” I yelled, making him step back.
“Are you the only one or there is someone else who she is in love with.” The priest said to me and that was when I realized something…the one person who had made being with Azalea so difficult and was also the main obstacle.
“Luther!!” I was surprised that I was able to utter that name.
He was the puzzle I was unable to find out, he is Azalea’s second chance and he knew about it.
“It can’t be, he can’t be the fucker!!! How can karma do this to me!!” I yelled while scattering everything around me, was I maybe being too imaginative?
“Alpha Federico, what’s wrong? Why did you call out Luther?” My beta was questioned but I won’t dare tell my reasons because it would be a huge shame.
Luther was my Luna mate…….
