But by the time Sebastian caught up, the child’s figure had already disappeared.
Xavi and Tyler quickly caught up with him. “Mr. Vanderbilt, what’s wrong?”
“Tyler, Xavi, did you see the child who ran past? Was it Howard?”
“It can’t be, right?” Tyler didn’t pay much attention.
“It’s impossible. The young master is at home, sleeping.”
Xavi said nervously, “Mr. Vanderbilt, should we arrange for you to see a psychologist? You’ve been having some serious hallucinations recently!”

Sebastian turned and shot Xavi a cold glare. Xavi quickly shrank back, not daring to speak further.
He hadn’t mentioned it, but Mr. Vanderbilt had been seeing everyone as his son lately due to his hallucinations!
Sebastian had Tyler contact Vaughn to confirm if Howard was still sleeping at The Vanderbilt Family home. Only after that did he feel that maybe he had made a mistake. His son couldn’t possibly be in two places at once.
Was it just a child who resembled Howard?
Thinking of the child he saw in Caitlin’s car earlier and the one who made faces at him just now, Sebastian was still puzzled.
Finally, he instructed Xavi, “Go find Ben and check the surveillance footage. I need to know whose child that was.”
“Yes, sir!”
Meanwhile, Arthur rushed out of the NO. 8 club and back to the car.
“Bruce, that was close! I almost ran into that jerk dad of ours!” Arthur said, patting his chest excitedly.
Bruce coldly smirked, “We’d better not let him know we’re around. Otherwise, he’ll surely make a move on us!”
“Exactly! We don’t need a dad like him. We have to figure out how to rescue Howard!”
In Arthur and Bruce’s minds, The Vanderbilt Family was like a fire pit. Their older brother was stuck in it.
“We can’t take Howard for now. If we do, jerk dad will start looking for him everywhere, and it’ll cause more trouble.”
“You’re right. Let’s wait until mom finishes handling things in the US. Then we’ll make a new plan.”
“Mm!”
The two brothers had already made their plans.
When Faith finished her task and came out, they all headed back to DanCa Estate.

**The Lewis Family**
It was getting very late, and Jonathan had not yet gone to bed. He was pacing back and forth in the living room, frowning.
Jasmine came downstairs and asked, “Dad, why aren’t you asleep?”
“Your mom hasn’t come back yet.”
“Why is it so late? Where could she have gone? Is she out playing cards all night?” Jasmine asked.
“Who knows?”
Just then, one of his subordinates rushed in to report, “Mr. Lewis, we can’t reach Mrs. Lewis. Her phone is off, and when we contacted her usual card-playing friends, they said they left after the game, but no one knows where she went after that.”
“Go find her! This woman is becoming more and more outrageous!”
Jonathan was furious. Ever since Megan found out about his affair at the birthday party, she had caused trouble behind his back. She even threatened to go out and find a new lover. Could she be with a man behind his back?
Thinking of this, Jonathan’s mood soured. “Where’s Anthony? Hasn’t he returned yet?”
As he was speaking, Jonathan received a message from Anthony. After reading it, his face changed dramatically.
Jasmine, noticing his reaction, asked, “What happened, Dad? What’s going on?”
“Not good, Anthony just sent a message saying your mom is in trouble. We need to hurry and get to the location!”
“Ah?”
Jasmine was also shocked and immediately called her brother Joshua to join Jonathan as they rushed out to the location.
The Lewis family members hastily arrived at the club, reaching the door of the upstairs room, only to find the door slightly ajar.
Jonathan pushed the door open, and they all entered, only to be stunned by what they saw!
His wife, Megan, and his subordinate, Anthony, were engaged in an inappropriate act.
This scene almost burned Jonathan’s eyes. He couldn’t believe his wife was having an affair with his subordinate.
Jasmine and Joshua squeezed in behind, and they too were left speechless.
They thought there was some major emergency, but it turned out to be this!
Was Anthony trying to get himself killed?
Jonathan, enraged, screamed, “Damn bastard!”
Even though Jonathan shouted and rushed toward Anthony, both Megan and Anthony remained oblivious.
Jonathan kicked Anthony, sending him to the floor. Joshua, unable to tolerate his mother’s behavior, joined Jonathan in beating Anthony.
Anthony was beaten badly, his face covered in blood, and he passed out on the ground.
Turning to Megan, Jonathan slapped her fiercely, hitting her multiple times until she was awake.
“Megan… why did you hit me?”
Megan cried from the pain, realizing that the person hitting her was her husband.
“Why do you think I’m hitting you? You worthless woman! You’ve ruined my reputation!”
Jonathan sighed deeply, flung his sleeves, and turned to leave. “You all deal with this mess!”
Megan looked at her children, then at Anthony lying on the floor. Realization hit her, and she was left in shock.
“Ah–”
She screamed, almost losing her sanity.
“Enough, mom, stop screaming!”
Jasmine rushed to find clothes to cover her mother.
Joshua, furious, confronted his mother, “Mom, how could you do this?”
“I didn’t want this, Joshua, Jasmine, what should I do? It’s all Caitlin’s fault, she’s the one who ruined me… it’s all her fault…”
Megan cried, telling them the whole story. Jasmine and Joshua were both furious.
“Her again! Why is she so vicious?”
“She’s out for revenge! She’s going crazy with revenge! That woman is too sick!”
“I’m calling the police! I’ll have her arrested!”
Joshua grabbed his phone to make the call, but Megan stopped him. “Joshua! Don’t call the police!”
“Mom, she’s ruined you, and you still don’t want to report her?”
“We can’t call the police! If we do, this will become public, and The Lewis Family will be disgraced. Everyone will know what I did, and I can’t afford that.”
Jasmine also said, “Yes! We can’t report it! If we do, we’ll fall right into Caitlin’s trap. She wants to see all of us humiliated, destroyed!”
“Ugh!”
Joshua punched the wall in frustration. How could he tolerate his mother being so humiliated? But now, he had to keep quiet and take it.
He couldn’t wait to crush that woman Caitlin!
In the end, Jasmine and Joshua handled the situation and took Megan back.
Meanwhile, across the street from the club, in a luxury car, Quincy reported, “Mr. Lewis, they’ve taken Megan away. Should we release the video?”
“Not yet, it’s not the right time.”
Caitlin smiled darkly, eagerly anticipating seeing Jonathan’s expression when everything unfolded.

Caitlin still wanted to figure out the true reason Jonathan had sent her brother away.
