ANASTASIA
Towards the afternoon, I was at the pool lying on my sunbed to receive the heat from the sun.
Diego had stepped out with Arnold for a brief work, while I was left behind under the watchful eyes of two guards.
I decided to join the other wealthy wolves and bath in the sun, enjoying the nice heat touching my skin.
That’s when my dear stepsister Cassandra, came over in her own bikini and sat on the sunbed next to me.
Talk about trying to steal the show. She wore a revealing swim wear that almost showed off her private areas. I don’t know who she’s trying to oppress but… She’s doing herself.
“This is what I’m talking about,” She hummed with delight, stretching out her body.
The guard who followed her, dropped down her towel and other pool stuffs he carried along for Casey.
She sat down and flaunted her figures, getting some men to stare at her body.
I just laid at my end and rolled my eyes at her, while she talked about her bikini and how expensive it costs.
“Damian really loves it, so he got me three more colors. This one is my favorite,” She bragged, showing off her red wear.
“Good for you. It really fits you,” I sarcastically commented.
Casey didn’t even know.
When she was done settling, “Where’s Alpha Diego?” She asked, hovering her eyes around. “I thought he was here?”
“No, why are you looking for him?” I questioned, lifting my brow.
Casey smirked with a response, ” I’m just asking since you said your Alpha is always around you. I didn’t see him so…” She shrugged.
“Oh, he’s busy, ” I said, keeping my bidy down and looking at the pool, watching those who were swimming. “He’ll be back soon.”
“Oh, work stuff during a vacation? That’s not nice,” She tsked, stretching out her legs.
“Um… How soon if you don’t mind me asking?” She questioned.
I understand why she’s asking. She wants to show off herself to Diego, so he’d see her hot bikini.
“I don’t know how soon. I just know that he’s coming.”
“Well, as his mate you’re supposed to know all these things. Goodness Anna, you need to learn.” She groaned.
Chuckling at her words, I asked, turning over to face my caring sister, ” Where’s your husband by the way? Is he busy as well?”
“Well… He’s…” She stammered, taking a brief look at the entrance then at me. “He’s not busy. He’s getting dressed or something.”
“Dressed or something? Don’t tell me you don’t have a clue of where Damian is. Please be joking,” I giggled, making Casey displeased.
She frowned at me and stood on her word, saying, ” He’s getting dressed, okay? He’ll be here.”
“Okay,” I said, resuming with what I was doing.
“You know sis…” Casey started, lying down in her sunbed. “I don’t know how much you’ve told Alpha Diego about your past, but I feel he’s going to lose so much interest in you one day.”
“And how do you know, Cassandra?” I questioned, narrowing my brow at her.
She faked a smile and spoke about the same problem of the wedding over and over again, feeling Diego would eventually get tired and kick me out.
“I mean you two aren’t even married yet. I bet he’s going to get tired of you and go out to find someone else to satisfy his urges.”
“And you know all these because…” I rolled my hand, waiting for her to complete her statement.
She squinted her gaze at me and said, ” You aren’t taking this thing seriously. You think I don’t want what’s best for you.”
“I never said that. I am giving you a listening ear, but it seems you are mistaking my attentiveness for doubt,” I pointed out to her.
“Look Casey…” I sat up to face this horny brat that thinks she’s smart. “You worry too much about me. I’ve told you this already. Diego loves me and won’t leave me no matter what. He made this promise. He’s my mate,” I spoke with confidence, placing my hand on my chest.
Casey wasn’t happy at all. She tried to maintain an eye contact with me but failed. She turned away and said, ” I am just looking out for you, Anna. Don’t say I didn’t warn you when Diego starts acting funny.”
“And by funny, you mean acting way too romantic?” I giggled, spiking her detest over my happiness.
Diego already told me her plan. She cooked up a nice story to paint me as an addict to my Alpha. And now she’s here speaking ill of Diego just to get me away from him.
Shameful. How low is she ready to stoop just to get what she wants?
Casey wasn’t done. She was about to say something when our conversation was interrupted by Henry.
“Hello pretty angels, ” He greeted, sitting next to me.
“Henry, how are you? ” Casey greeted, expecting the billionaire’s attention, but she was left disappointed when he didn’t give her what she wanted.
“Yeah good, Luna. So, Anastasia… You’re looking lovely today. Any special plans for today? Maybe another wild party at the club? We could make up for last night’s dance,” Henry said, giving all his focus to me!
I felt amused with how he ignored Cassandra within minutes. He didn’t even look at her.
“I don’t feel like going to the club tonight, Henry. But I don’t mind trying something new, ” I responded.
Henry was delighted with this idea and began to list all the fun activities the hotel had. “They have game rooms. I heard they have a golf course not too far from here. I could show you one or two tricks of mine, ” He winked, flirting with me.
I giggled at his attempts when he placed his hand on my lap, but I pretended not to grab.
Casey, who felt left out, took up the topic and spoke of a different game the hotel runs at night. “They call it the ‘Hunting’. They release animals like deers into the forests and every wolf gets to hunt them down for the kill. It’s mostly wealthy guests that can afford such a fun activity. Maybe I’ll give it a try,” She said with a proud smile, waiting to hear from Henry.
But Henry ignored Cassandra once again. He even stole her idea and brought it to me like he just thought about it. “We could all head to the hunting game and dive into the woods to have some fun.”
“Oh…” I uttered glancing at my step sister. She gazed back with jealousy, forcing out a smile.
“Maybe I’ll bring this to Diego’s notice. If he’s interested then we can give it a try.”
“I’ll speak to Damian about it. I’m sure he’ll say Yes, ” Cassandra said, looking at Henry.
He still had his eyes on me. He even spoke about my tattoo lustfully, running his hand on the inked wolf on my back. “I bet you’re going to be way hotter than this design.”
“How did you know?” I smiled at him seductively, crossing my legs to show off my body.
That made his eyes pop with hunger.
He was tempted to touch my curves but didn’t want his cravings to be known.
“For a wealthy wolf, you’re supposed to have a woman by now. Don’t tell me you’re keeping yourself for the right lady. Or are you secretly married?” I joked.
Henry laughed and said, “I’m not married. But yes, I am looking for the right wolf. I just want the goddess to give me that spark and lead me to my mate.”
He slid his finger down from my shoulder to my hand.
Even though I didn’t like the way he was touching me, I have learnt how to withstand all this tempting approaches and go with the flow.
“That’s sweet. I’m sure the heavens will lead you to the right lady. Who knows…” I pointed at my breast and said, ” Maybe I might end up being your type.”
When he heard and saw how I touched myself, Henry’s forehead came breaking with sweat.
I looked at Casey’s direction and saw the way she stared at me in shock.
Laughing out at their face expression, I said, “I’m just joking!”
“Haha! You… You almost got me there,” Henry chuckled, wiping his forehead.
Casey only smiled, directing her eyes over to Henry’s direction.
I don’t know what’s going on in that head of hers, but it’s clear that she’s jealous.
