DIEGO
“At the front desk,” Arnold informed through the phone while I was stepping out of the elevator, making my way to the reception.
“Noted,” I responded, ending the call.
Two of my guards came out from the pathway at the left, following me from behind.
I like to present myself like an open man without his men to guide. But in reality, my men are always following. They don’t need me to call out to them They know their duty as the Alpha’s guards.
Arriving at the reception, three o’clock at my right, I found Damian, Cassandra, and our special guest of honor, talking to the manager of the hotel.
They seemed to be hooked by the fancy tongue of the proud manager, mostly Cassandra.
Her eyes popped at the enticing words of the fellow, who had his hand hovering around the area. And just as he was directing their attention towards my point, I went into character, pretending to be on call.
That’s when they spotted me, Damian and Cassandra. The Alpha was astonished, as well as his Luna.
I acted like a busy man, turning my attention into another point. That’s when my guards began talking to someone, stopping the person from getting closer to me.
“Who are you?” They questioned.
” I am your Alpha’s soon to be sister in-law, Luna of Wolf Blood pack.” That’s Cassandra for sure. She spoke with pride, giving my guards a clear introduction of who she was.
Hearing this, I turned around and found her beaming at me proudly.
“Luna, you’re here?” I uttered, faking surprise.
She smiled joyfully and took hold of my hand excitedly. ” You took that right out of my mouth. I was going to say that,” She laughed.
“What a surprise! What are you doing here?” She asked, getting all clingy with me.
“Alpha,” Damian called, drawing closer with Billionaire Henry. The latter looked a bit puzzled at the way Casey was attaching herself to me.
“This is surprising. You’re here at this hotel?” Damian asked, lifting his brow at me.
I smirked with a response, “Of course. We booked this place before coming down to Northern Lights. Heard it’s the best hotel here in this pack.”
“That’s true. It’s indeed the best,” Henry said, supporting my words.
Seeing that the billionaire had chipped into a conversation he wasn’t invited into, I decided to just go along with the flow and hit the nail on the head.
“Alpha Damian, I can see you have a guest,” I said, pulling away from Cassandra to face my main target.
Damian nodded, facing Henry. “Yes, he’s a business partner of mine. He’s just visiting the pack,” He shared, looking displeased with my presence.
I pretended not to have seen his face expression but dropped all attentions on Henry, giving my hand out to the billionaire like a gentleman. “Nice to meet you, sir.”
“Same here, Alpha…” Henry dragged, waiting to hear from me.
Then I responded without any delay, “Alpha Diego.”
As soon as I mentioned my name to him, Henry’s body shivered! I felt it from his hand.
His smile slowly fell with his eyes looking right at Damian. Even Wolf Blood’s Alpha didn’t say a thing. He just stared back at his friend silently.
“Alpha Diego? As in the Alpha of Crescent pack?” Henry asked, dropping his gaze back at me.
“That means you’re familiar with me already,” I chuckled, letting go of his trembling hands.
His body language is a clear sign that he knows about me. Why won’t he? He’s a Mafia after all. He could only recognize the name but not my face.
And now that he has, seen me, I bet he’ll reach out to Woods and let him know who’s in town.
“Yes, I’m quite familiar with that name. It’s the first time I’ll be standing before the bearer himself. It’s… Nice to meet you, Alpha Diego.”
“Same here,” I said, simpering at him.
Henry hummed, delivering a fake smile. He flashed another gaze at Damian, probably communicating with the Alpha.
I watched how Damian immediately cleared his throat and said, reaching for Casey’s hand, “We need to check into our rooms now, but we’ll surely see you around.”
“Not a problem,” I said, flashing my smile at both men.
Henry’s face kept reading out the word fear. My presence has ruined his mood in an instant. He couldn’t wait to leave that place. His shaky hand and dancing feet showed it.
Just as Damian was about pulling Casey away, “I don’t see Anna anywhere, ” She immediately said, refusing her Alpha from holding her.
“Is my sweet sister having so much fun inside her room?” She asked curiously.
Damian called out to her, ” Casey, we need to check in. You’re keeping the manager waiting.” He attempted to pull her again, but I took that chance to talk about Anastasia.
“No, she’s not inside. I saw her grabbing her bikini and heading for the private pool. That’s were I’m heading to now.”
Immediately I revealed that part, Damian, who was in a hurry to leave, lifted his eyes at me.
His eyes came flashing with hunger. That word ‘Bikini’ finally gave me the reaction I wanted from him.
He slowly left Casey, looking lost. The fucking asshole must be picturing her in her pool wear already.
“There’s a private pool here?” Cassandra gasped, turning over to look at Damian and Henry. She gave her husband the desperate gaze and said to him, ” Maybe I’ll meet you later in the room. I want to see my sister.”
“Your sister?” Henry picked, glancing at the couple. “Alpha Damian, you never said your Luna’s family were close to the Alpha of Crescent. De Great has two Lunas in their household,” Henry chuckled right at me.
Only for his laughter to die down when Casey and Damian chorused out, “She’s not married to him.”
“Oh,” Henry became perplexed again.
“We’ll be planning our mate bond real soon. And I don’t mind making you our first guest, sir,” I said, patting Henry on the shoulder.
The Billionaire flashed a confusing smile. He still can’t understand what is happening.
“Diego and I will go and see Anna. You can head to the room with the manager. See you later,” Cassandra said, waving at both men while getting set to drag me off.
That’s when Damian immediately intervened, suggesting that we all head to the pool together. “We’re not in a hurry. I don’t mind if we just take a stroll there and see how nice the pool is. Isn’t that right, Henry?” He asked.
The Billionaire wasn’t pleased with this idea. He gave out a deep hum, accepting Damian’s decision. “Let’s check the pool out,” He said, looking at me.
I smiled, directing my attention to the manager who was waiting for them.
” Lead us to the pool,” I ordered.
“Of course, Alpha. Please, follow me.” The proud manager took the lead, taking us into a different corridor in the hotel.
Casey kept herself glued to me like we’re a couple. She started talking and asking about my plans to wed Anna, wondering if I need any help.
I did my best in answering all her annoying questions while glancing at her husband and my target from behind. Henry wasn’t happy, and he seems to be telling that to Damian in whispers.
For sure my matter is the main topic. Why else is he mad?
Arriving at the back of the hotel, which was outside, we were taken into a big and large opening with a nice wide pool there.
A few ladies and men were flaunting their bodies around and having fun. The place wasn’t that bad. In fact, it gave that sybaritic vibe.
“This is lovely. Gosh, I should have gone to my room to change first. A nice cool dip would be perfect for my skin,” Casey said, letting go of my arm to pack her hair properly to the side.
She did this while throwing alluring glances at me. She wants me to see how beautiful her skin is.
I didn’t bother to look at her that much. I was searching for my girl.
Where is she?
“I don’t see Anna anywhere,” Damian said, revealing his search for her. “Are you sure she didn’t miss her way?” He chuckled.
I chortled along while hovering my gaze around. “I doubt that,” I said confidently, knowing she can’t come here without my guards following.
Most of the women wore black bikinis like the one Anna showed me. The design weren’t the same and honestly I don’t know how Anna looks in hers.
I didn’t wait to see her in her two piece.
Just then, I spotted two of my men standing close to an empty sunbed from the other side, looking at the pool.
Feeling relieved, I said, ” Found her base.” Then I carefully walked around with the others following, approaching my guards near the sunbed.
When they saw me, they bowed.
About asking for Anna, my attention was immediately taken by a woman who came flipping her hair out from the water.
She wore a black bikini like Anna and had the same body shape. But the difference between her and Anastasia was the big wolf tattoo on her back.
It had a similar design to mine but different because of the flowers tattooed at the head and lower part of the wolf.
“Anna doesn’t have that on her. She’s… Wait a minute. Is that… Anna?!”
I was shocked when the tattooed lady turned, revealing herself to be Anastasia!
“What is… Where did she get a tattoo from?” This question ran through my mind, causing my heart to pound at the sight of her beautiful design.
Anna, who was still in the water, turned over and looked towards my direction with a sexy smile flashing right at me.
It felt like she saw me coming and decided to put on this performance to stun me. Honestly, I am over the moon right now.
She swam over and got out of the pool, saying while flaunting her hot body in her bikini, “Look who finally decided to join in the fun. Well, you don’t look ready for a swim.” She giggled, grabbing a towel from one of the guards to wipe her hair.
