ANASTASIA
“Yes, that’s what I want.” I made my request known to Alpha Diego, speaking with the tone of a feisty girl with class and a taste for danger.
But deep down, I know I’m a weakling! I’m no dangerous girl at all! It was by luck that I overcame the terrors of tonight just to make Diego feel I am fit for his kind of life.
Honestly, I didn’t know things would work out for me today. I didn’t even plan to come down to Red Moon pack, if I hadn’t ease dropped on the Alpha’s conversation with his informant at the other end.
Well… I was… I thought he was taking his bath or at least going naked in his bedroom, so I ended up sneaking over to calm my problem but overheard his plans to end South Wood’s Alpha.
That’s how I snatched that opportunity to prove myself to Diego.
I left his mansion a few minutes after he zoomed off, and found my way to Red Moon pack.
I joined the stripper club Diego talked about, as a newbie. And thanks to me, he took out Alpha Sullivan without any problem.
“Why are you quiet? Don’t you want to give me what I want?” I asked, noticing the rage spreading across Diego’s face.
I know he doesn’t like the fact that I chose to stay in his mansion as my wish, instead of going to any of the shelters he plans on dumping me. He wants to get rid of me.
“You do know that I helped you tonight, right?”
“I never asked you for it! ” He raised his voice, stamping his hand on the space in between us. “I would have handled the work on my own without your so-called help!”
He’s against my wish and doesn’t like my presence. But I won’t miss this opportunity just because he thinks I’m unwanted. I need him to help me solve my problem with those bastards that ruined my life!
I would have just told him that I need his help in handling them, but what assurance do I have that he’ll do it after kicking me out of his mansion? That’s why I decided to use that wish to stay put at his place. It’s the best decision.
“Oh, I see,” I uttered at the Alpha’s words, pretending not to be afraid, even though my body was shaking.
I lifted my brow and gave out a smirk, trying to show him how tough I can be. “So, you’re just going to act like I didn’t sacrifice myself to help you tonight? Are you telling me that if you help me with a problem, I don’t owe you a favor? I thought that’s something you Mafias do.” I chuckled, leaning back in my seat, watching Diego boil.
He knows that last statement is a part of the Mafias code. When someone helps you, you owe them a favor. If you help them, you owe them a favor.
“I owe you nothing, Girl! Your tricks can not work on me! You will get nothing in return for the nothing you did!” He sparked, claiming I didn’t do anything for him!
Annoyed… “Alright then. I can see you’re really ungrateful. Maybe I’ll just leave you like you want and look for another Mafia boss who’s ready to attend to all my wishes.”
I just want to make him change his mind. I don’t mean it one bit.
“At least, when they see a beauty like myself who’s ready to assist in their problems…” I ran my hand across my chest seductively, passing the message to Diego. “They’ll do whatever I want. So, no problem.”
“And you think I care?” He questioned, scoffing at me.
I still had to maintain my coolness, so he wouldn’t think I’m faking my threat. But with the way he was behaving, I felt I went too far with my decision.
“Then fine. You can go and meet whoever it is you want. I don’t need you around me or around my home, ” He said, smirking.
Seeing how stubborn he was… “Stop the car!” I ordered the driver loudly, ready to show myself to Diego. He just glared at me like I don’t have the guts.
“I said stop the car!” I yelled again, getting the guard to listen.
Diego didn’t even say anything but watched on. He leaned into his seat, waiting to see what I can do.
And once the car came to a stop right outside Red Moon pack, I took hold of the handle and opened the door, stepping out and slamming it hard at him.
I stood there glaring at Diego from the window, before walking away from the car and right into Red Moon just to show Diego that I meant what I said.
But that ruthless man didn’t care! His car began to move, driving ahead into the night!
I felt like a fool for taking that step. Why didn’t I just calm myself down and think of a better way out? “Now what am I going to do?” I bit down on my lips, feeling scared of my environment.
“Don’t panic, Anna. You can’t get scared. You still know your way around this pack. Just… Maybe head back and look for help? Gosh!” I sighed, running my hands across my face, feeling utterly ridiculous.
Now I wished I had just asked for his help in dealing with Damian and those two. But I just kicked myself out with my own two legs.
“You’re such a fool,” I scolded myself, walking further into Red Moon pack.
After what felt like an eternity, I got back into the city and stopped right outside a bakery store, leaning my back against the wall to catch my breathe.
The sound of the door opening and closing got my attention, forcing me to look and see different ladies walking in and out with their lovers, along with little takeout bags hanging around their finger.
I had to look at the window of the store and saw nice and tasty snacks that attracted both my eyes and my stomach. It made me so hungry.
But I got no dime on me. I’m broke.
“Just when you need the money to buy something good and you don’t have any penny, you are Deadass broke,” I sighed, sliding my hands into the pocket of the trouser I wore, just to feel something rustling.
“What’s this?” I wondered, pulling whatever it was out from inside and gasping at what I saw.
It’s money! The pocket had some money in it!
“Yes! Goddess, thank you!” I shrieked, stepping into the store to grab a bite of their finest treat.
As I was looking around for what I wanted to sink my teeth into, my back accidentally met with someone else’s from behind, causing whoever it was to freak out in anger. “ARE YOU BLIND?!”
“I’m so sorry!” I apologized, turning around to calm this person’s rage.
It was a man. A handsome well dressed customer in a fancy suit. His suit was stained with jam from the doughnut he was holding in his hand. It got all over him because I foolishly bumped into him from behind.
Wait… Where have I seen this face before?
“SHIT!” He groaned, trying to wipe himself with his other hand.
Feeling guilty, I grabbed a napkin out from my pocket and began to wipe the Jam off the stranger. “I am so sorry. I didn’t mean to ruin your suit, ” I apologized, still cleaning.
The young man who was raising his voice at me suddenly went silent. I thought it’s because I was doing the right thing by cleaning him up, but it wasn’t.
When I lifted my head to look, I met the stranger staring at my face like a pervert, hovering his gaze around my face with a smile arching to the side.
Just then… “It’s fine, dear,” He said, stopping me from attending to the stain. “You didn’t mean it anyway. Besides…” He carefully dropped the doughnut down and took off his suit, leaving only a white shirt, unbuttoned halfway down, on him. “I was getting tired of wearing this anyway.”
On seeing his strong exposed chest, my body shivered. I felt my problem triggering at the sight of his huge thorax, filling me with the temptation to touch him.
Damn it! Not now!
“What’s your name? ” The stranger asked, dumping his suit on the head of a man who came standing next to him. From the looks of things, it seems he’s some kind of wealthy businessman with men of his own. But I can’t still crack my head to remember where I’ve seen him before.
“Um… Anna,” I replied, drawing back and trying to subdue the itch rising in my body.
“Anna? Such a lovely name, ” He complimented, stepping closer to me. “I rarely come across ladies who are kind and generous like yourself. You just showed me that not all women can be rude and selfish.”
“Oh, is that so?” I had to act like I was trying to select a snack for myself while talking to this man. He kept nearing me, making it hard for me to control myself.
“I’m being serious,” He said suddenly sliding his hand at my behind and grabbing the left cheek!
The moment I felt his grip, my body vibrated, causing the wrapped snack I just picked, to fall out of my grip and to the ground.
“Control, Anna. Just control yourself,” I comforted myself from within, trying to hold back the temptation in me.
When I looked at this fellow, his eyes were filled with a sudden hunger. It’s like my reaction to his touch triggered his sexual desire.
“That was an arousing wave,” The stranger commented in a whisper, biting down on his lower lips and running his eyes on me.
I didn’t like where this was going, but I had to keep my cool and avoid eye contacts with him.
Carefully, I lowered down to pick the snack I dropped, only for me to feel this man standing behind me, rubbing something hard against my tush.
I didn’t have to look back to tell what it was. His reflection on the show glass in my front showed it all.
This man is a pervert indeed. He was stylishly gropping me with his rod, using this situation to please himself. And with the way he was moving, I was beginning to feel my legs trembling with my hands getting itchy to feel this man’s Phallus.
“Anna! Get yourself in place!” I roared in my mind and got to my feet, turning around to face this Subvert, who wouldn’t leave me alone.
With a smile, I said, “This is a public place. You don’t want people seeing you walking out with that thing all hard.” I smirked, looking down at his trouser then back at his face.
His eyes sparkled. He covered the gap between us a bit, and said, “How about we head down to my place? It’s more cozy there.”
“With a stranger that didn’t even introduce himself? That’s a No,” I refused, about to walk pass him.
That’s when he held me back and said, ” I’m no stranger. Besides…” He looked around, almost as if he was being careful of something, before whispering, “I’m a Beta on a mission here in Red Moon.”
“A Beta? ” I lifted my brow.
He nodded and went on to introduce himself fully. “My name is Xavier. I’m the Beta of Moon Crest.”
On hearing that name, my mind flashed back to Alpha Sullivan. Even though he was talking to Alpha Diego about things I don’t know, I can still remember that he mentioned two names!
Gamma Jay and Beta Xavier!
“Oh my Goodness! I just hit the jackpot in one night! I am with Beta Xavier!” I screamed in my mind, faking a smile at the perverted Beta.
“Just when I thought things wouldn’t get any better, the heaven’s led this moron my way. One of Diego’s target. And that grumpy ass thinks Anna is useless? Well, I’ll show him.”
