CASSIUS’S POV
After what Father said, I felt the blood in my body rushed to me head, and every bone in my body hardened.
I dare him to try that shit with me.
With a glare that could freeze even a demon, I turned sharply to Father and said, ” I. Dare. You. To. Fucking. Try. It.”
I walked away, out of his fucked up clan after saying that.
Even if I had to protect Alessia with my life, I would gladly do that, and never would I let Father kill her just because he wants me to bend to his rules.
He had always wanted to rule over me and my Clan, since I happened to be the King of the underworld, but I didn’t give him that chance to.
And now that he seems to have the opportunity through Alessia, he wants to ride it.
I drove off with my bike, heading straight to my clan to have a good rest.
I haven’t slept for a while due to the upcoming mission.
The mission was said to be dangerous, Infact, the most deadly I have ever done in my whole entire life.
But damn, I was so prepared for it.
With this mission, I can rule over the underworld and every other clan in not only Italy but also in Russia and North America.
Just a few miles from reaching my clan, my phone began to ring inside my jacket pocket.
I was skeptical about picking, since I was driving on a full speed, but the phone kept ringing nonstop.
I guessed in annoyance as I pulled up by the side of the road to pick up the damn call.
” Who the fuck are you?”
That was the first word that left my lips.
” Are you Mr Cassius?” The caller asked and that was when I dragged the phone from my ear to see who the caller was.
It was Alessia’s phone and the caller seems like a stranger, not even CeCe.
My throat instantly ran dry, and my Adam’s apple bobble.
What the fuck was happening? And why is a stranger calling me using Alessia’s phone.
I immediately placed the phone back to my ear and spoke up in a commanding tone. ” Where is Alessia?”
” We need you to calm down Mr. Cassius. Miss Alessia is under surgery currently.” The stranger said.
” Why the fuck is she under surgery?” My brows furrowed together and my teeth grind against each other.
My hands began itching to tear whoever made Alessia to be under surgery.
” She was shot.” The stranger replied slowly in a low voice.
” Who fucking shot her?” My voice flared up, and I didn’t mind the looks I was getting from passerbys.
” Her friend. We contacted the police when we heard gunshots in the neighborhood.” The stranger replied.
” Are you Alessia’s neighbour?” I asked.
” Yes. We live on the same floor.”
” I want you to do me a favour, Mrs neighbour.” I started. ” Call me once the surgery is over and Alessia wakes up.”
” Okay, Mr Cassius. I will keep you informed.”
With that said, I hung up and immediately dialed Weston’s line.
Once he picked after the seconds ring, I immediately went straight to the point.
Rachel would be fucked once I get my hands on her.
I will lead her on the way to hell.
” Yes, Boss.” Weston started.
” I need you to find the location of someone.”
” And who is it?” He asked.
” Rachel Jenkins and Lucas Brooks. They are trying to escape.”
Once I ended the call, I waited few minutes for Weston to find them before hopping on my bike.
I made a U-turn, heading towards the airport.
Those two damn flies were trying to leave the country after trying to kill Alessia.
I increased the speed of the bike, and in less than twenty minutes, I got into the airport.
They were supposed to be boarded inside the plane, ready to leave, but I asked Weston to hack the airport, so he could delay their flight until I get into the airport.
And I must say, Weston really did a great job, because upon getting to the airport, it was in chaos.
The Airport It department were running all over so they could stop the hacking created by Weston.
I began my search for Rachel and Lucas.
Fortunately for me, I saw them in the third plane, already seated in their seat, sipping wine like they hadn’t tried to kill a person, just a few hours ago.
I folded my fists, almost turning white as I marched towards the plane.
” Hey,” I smirked once I was in front of them.
Rachel’s eyes widened like the size of an orange and her mouth wide opened in fear.
” C…. Cassius…. why are you here?” She stuttered, trying to mask her fear.
” What do you think?” I smirked and leaned closer towards her ear. ” To drag you both to hell.”
She shook like she was drenched with an ice-filled water.
” What…what are…you talking about?” She forced a smile, trying to hide the fact that she was afraid of me.
” You shot Alessia, and think you can run away from Italy?” I grabbed her by the neck, choking the hell out of her. ” Hell no. No one touches my Bunny and go scott free, so now, follow me to the place of your damnation, or I will drag you there myself.”
” What do you think you’re doing?” Lucas who had been asleep spoke up and just a glare from me, shut him the fuck up.
” Just leave the country alone, since you’re a victim of this bitch here.” I started. ” If I ever see you anywhere close to Alessia, I will cut off your damn legs and feed you with them.”
He shook in fear. And that’s all I needed.
I dragged Rachel by her neck, taking her out of the plane.
Eyes were on us. Murmurs and whispers filled the air, but I cared less about that.

Upon reaching my clan, I asked for her to be taken to the Dark Room Of Truth.
The room where people enters and never comes out in one piece. Infact, they never come out alive.
I was going to torture Rachel and make her spill out everything, then wait for Alessia to wake up before taking the matter further.
Once I was calm, I decided to head to the hospital, and luckily, that was when Alessia woke up.
” You must be Mr. Cassius, right?” The stranger who seemed like Alessia’s neighbour asked and I nodded curtly.
” Yes, I heard she’s awake.” I replied.
” Yes, you can see her now.” The neighbour smiled at me as I made my way into the ward.
” Hey,” I started once we both locked eyes.
” Who are you?” She asked, her brows creased.
If this was a damn joke, Alessia should better put an end to it.
” Are you serious right now?” A dark chuckle graced my lips.
” Who the fuck are you? And why are you here?”
” I’m Cassius.” I tried to keep calm.
” And what relationship do we share?”
She was taking this matter too far, and I can’t trust my patience.
” I’m your boyfriend, your husband and your fuck buddy. Every fucking part of your body belongs to me,” I stopped and leaned closer into her ears. ” So you better remember, if not, I will fuck the hell out of your pussy once you get discharged.”
” Can you get off me?” She said, staring at me with her round doe eyes.
” Oh, I never knew that works. I thought you were going to say we don’t share any relationship.” She muttered and a smirk appeared on my lips.
” You were playing with me, weren’t you?”
” Yes. I just wanted to confirm if you would abandon me again.”
” I never abandoned you, not even for once, Bunny. I just drifted away from you to protect you.” I said, my voice turning serious.
” And who said I wanted you to drift apart from me?” She asked, her eyes filled with tears. ” You can still stay by my side and protect me. If you had been by my side, Rachel wouldn’t have tried to kill me.”
I pulled her into a hug, and placed a kiss on her hair.
” Speaking of Rachel, what would you like to do with her?” I asked, and Alessia slowly raised her head from my chest.
” What do you mean?”
” She’s in my clan now. I caught her when she tried to escape.” I said, pushing a strand of hair to the back of her ear. ” So what do you want to do to her.”
” Make her regret her actions, and then, send her off to the police for attempted murder.”
” Shit! I should have killed her myself.” I clicked my tongue.
” You wouldn’t do that. She’s an human being, and moreover, everyone deserves a second chance.”
” Come here, Bunny.” I motioned for her to rest her head on my chest.
” I will protect you from now henceforth, even with my life.” I said in a serious voice, my mind drifting off to what Father said earlier.
