CASSIUS POV
After fucking Alessia until she couldn’t walk or move about with her legs, we both fell asleep, but the ringing of my phone woke me up.
With a groan, I picked up the call and answered it.
The call was from Dragon.
” What is it, Dragon?” I asked, my voice husked and deep.
” Your brother is back.” He said and all the sleep wiped off my eyes.
” Which of my brothers?” My jaw hardened and my hold on the phone tightened.
I get sensitive at the mention of my brothers, since I have two.
I wouldn’t like to talk about any of them.
” The younger one. Banks.” Dragon replied, and my hold on the phone loosened.
” Why is he back? Didn’t he say he wants to finish his college education in Australia?” I asked.
” He said he is tired of Australia, so he will further his education here in Italy at NeverLine College.” Dragon replied and I dug my fingers into my hair with a sigh.
” What is wrong with that bastard?” I gritted.
” I will be back soon.” I replied and hung up.
Turning around, Alessia was already awaked.
” Your call woke me up.” She muttered, rubbing her eyes.
” I will be leaving.” I said flatly.
” Why?”
” Because I have stuff to attend to.” I replied and got down from the bed.
I entered the bathroom and took a cold shower before getting dressed.
All this while, Alessia watched me as I dressed up without a word.
Once I was done, I looked at her.
” I’m leaving.” I said and jumped out of her window.
I knew it wasn’t the right thing to do, and moreover, she had a lot of things to say to me, but I didn’t want to listen.
I was afraid of getting too attached to her.
She is already my obsession, so I don’t want anything more than that.
…….
Upon getting to the clan, it was already morning and Dragon was already waiting for me in the large hall.
” Where is Banks?” I asked but he remained quiet, making me even more furious.
” Where the fuck is that bastard brother of mine?” I yelled, my eyes dark with anger.
” He is in his room.” Dragon replied, his head hung low.
” In his room? Does he have a room in my clan? How dare he?” I chuckled angrily.
” Get him here right now.”
” Copy that, Boss.”
Dragon immediately left to get Banks for me.
While he was gone, my mind went back to Alessia and I sighed.
” Well, I’m not sorry, Bunny.” I clicked my tongue.
Soon, Banks and Dragon walked in and I smirked darkly.
” Hello brother.” Banks flashed me a smile, the one that doesn’t reach his eyes.
In terms of psychotic behaviour, I will give it to Banks.
He is a psychopath who covers up with a smile.
I might be more dangerous than he was because I never hide my psychotic behaviour, but he does.
He hides it under the facade of his smile.
” Why are you here?” I asked, bringing out my gun.
I don’t mind shooting him and taking him to the hospital, once he is at the verge of death.
” I’m back because Australia seems boring.” He replied with another smile, as he took a seat with his legs crossed on each other.
He was testing my patience.
” You still have the guts to come back, after what you did?”
I asked, pointing my gun towards him, my eyes even more bloodshot.
” Yes.” He simply replied, causing me to pull the trigger, ready to blow his motherfucking brain off.
” This clan belongs to my father. I can’t remain where I don’t belong because I wronged you in the past.” Banks replied fearlessly, staring at me eyeballs to eyeballs.
” Are you messing with me, huh?” I asked, standing up from my throne, the gun still pointed at him.
” No, I’m not, Cassius. You can shoot me for all I bloody care.” He also stood up, walking towards me, with no iota of fear in him.
Banks was never scared of anything. In Fact all the Riven boys were never scared of anything.
If we were still together, we would have dominated the underworld, but after the incident three years ago, we split, and at that moment, the thought of it was making me even more mad.
Instead of pulling the trigger, I dropped the gun and threw a punch at him.
He saw it coming, but the bastard didn’t make any attempt to dodge it.
His lips busted and he staggered, but that psychotic smile still remained on his lips.
” You can punch me all you want, but that would never bring Rivera back.” He said meanly before walking out of the hall.
” Fuck!” I shot the gun in the air in annoyance.
” That bastard. I don’t know why I didn’t shoot him!”
BANKS’ POV
Everything that happened three years ago was entirely my fault and I’ve been living in the shadow of myself ever since then, but no one knew.
No one knew because of anything, but because I never told anyone or showed my weakness out.
I hate anything called weakness or love.
And just like Cassius and our other brother, the forbidden creature and the black sheep of the Riven family.
His name was forbidden and never to be mentioned anywhere near the clan.
Father forced me to leave Italy after the incident because Cassius would have killed me, if he had set his eyes on me, after what I had done, three years ago.
It’s been three years, and I was already tired of Australia, so I decided to return.
If Cassius wants to kill, he should, after all, I deserve even more than death.
I walked out of the hall with my bloody lips, and drove out on a power bike.
I needed fresh air and the smell of blood.
I needed to kill, to get my sanity back.
I continued driving with no destination in mind, until I came across two people on the street dragging each other.
Actually, there were three, but from the look of things, a girl was among them.
I wanted to leave, but the idea of death, blood and kill struck my head so I stopped and came down from my bike.
Watching from a distance, I noticed that two men were trying to force themselves on the lady, but she wasn’t strong enough to fight them off.
” I guess death was already on its way to take you both.” I smirked darkly and walked towards them.
I grabbed the first guy and threw him across the way.
He fell to the ground, bleeding from his mouth, due to the hit.
” Who the fuck are you?” The second asked, fear visible in his eyes.
” Ah, me? I’m the god of death.” I replied, flashing him one of my psychotic smiles, before grabbing him by the collar.
” Say hi to the king of hell for me.” I whispered into his ear, before shoving a knife in his stomach, then at his heart.
I made sure he was dead as I continued stabbing him brutally, with no care in the world.
Once I had confirmed that he was dead, I inhaled the cool air, and at that minute, my sanity returned.
I stood up with blood smeared all over my face, but I didn’t care.
The first man wasn’t dead yet, so I walked towards him, not minding the pale looking girl seated on the ground with wide eyes.
” It would be fun if you join your mate.” I said in an Australian accent before slitting his throat, his blood flowing like a river.
Once I was done, I turned to the girl who was quivering in fear before flashing her a smile.
I didn’t say a word as I returned to my bike, driving off like nothing happened.
