ALESSIA’S POV
It took about twenty more minutes to regain myself.
All those while, he remained standing, eyes on me.
I opened my mouth to say a word, but I couldn’t. It felt as if my tongue had been tied against the walls of my mouth.
Everything felt like a movie or rather, a book.
A dark romance book where the ML is a stalker and would stalk the FL even if she hides in hell.
That wasn’t a life I pictured for myself.
I can’t let a stranger I know nothing about ruin my normal life and turn me into an abnormal woman.
” What do you want from me again?” My voice came out in a frustrated sigh.
I was tired of everything, but this devil’s heir was making it even worse.
” YOU” he drawled in a low and menacing tone.
I cocked an eyebrow, trying to wrap my head around what he meant.
I just wish whatever he was trying to get from me, doesn’t break me into pieces in the end.
” I don’t understand. Can you broaden my horizons?” I asked, standing to my feet with my hands folded under by boobs.
” I said I fucking want YOU.” He declared, his words carrying a sense of finality and danger.
” Hey, young man.” A chuckle escaped my lips.
If it was a joke, it would be best if he took it back, because I hate ridiculous jokes.
” Do I look like a commodity that you want? And who the fuck are you to want me?”
I was getting at the edge with each ticking second.
I can’t let him dictate my life for me, not when he is in my domain.
” Say that again.” His voice dropped to a dangerous rumble, enough to send a thousand adrenaline down my spine.
” Who the fuck are you?” I replied stubbornly.
I wasn’t one to back down easily.
I had let him assert his dominance over me at the club two days ago, because I was flustered and moreover, I was in a dangerous place at that time.
” You’re calling for a good fuck yourself, Bunny.” He drawled as he took slow steps towards me.
” Get out of my house!” I yelled, my eyes red with anger.
” And if I don’t?” He cocked an eyebrow, his lips dancing with a dangerous smirk.
” I will call the cops on you.”
I said and fished out my phone from the drawer, ready to punch the three numbers that could get him arrested.
” Try it. Like I said before, trying is free, succeeding isn’t.”
He took another predatory step towards me, and I felt my heart drop to the pit of my stomach.
It was the first time seeing him up close.
I didn’t get to see his face fully because the VIP room was dark with a dim blue light, but at the moment, his face was nothing short of perfection.
A masterpiece.
Thick brows, full lips, chiselled jaw, delicate nose and a stomach expression.
He was a total masterpiece created by God and birthed by the devil.
That was the only reasonable explanation for his existence.
” If you take even a step closer, I won’t hesitate to call the police!”
I half yelled, hoping he would step back, but unfortunately for me, he didn’t.
With just a pull on my waist, I was just an inch away from his face.
Our faces were so dangerously close that I could feel his steady breath clashed against my own.
My breath hitched and my phone fell to the ground.
My heart pounded erratically inside my chest and I was hoping he didn’t hear the sound of my heart beat.
” Why are you suddenly silent, huh?” a cold chuckle escaped his throat, throwing me back to reality.
Heat suffused at the back of my neck, as he stared at me like a dark Satan that he was.
” Let. Me. Go.” I let the words roll out of my tongue, but he didn’t let me go, instead, his hold on my waist tightened.
” I won’t let you go until you tame my demons. They crave for you.” He said in a low, hoarse voice.
” What demons are you rumbling about? And why would I want to tame them?”
I gritted my teeth, trying to break free from his hold.
His other free hand grabbed my throat, but not enough to hurt me.
” You will do as I say, okay Bunny? Let’s not get too difficult on eachother.”
The atmosphere inside my room suddenly became eerie, and hell, I couldn’t even read his inscrutable expression.
” What do you want from me? Can’t you just let me be?”
This time, I have given up trying to fight against him, because clearly, I wasn’t a match for him.
” I want YOU to tame my demons and put them at bay.” He smiled, the one that didn’t reach his eyes.
Raising his hand on my neck, he placed a strand of hair back to my ears, his dark blue eyes never leaving mine.
” But I don’t want to.” I replied, tears sprawling from the corners of my eyes.
” Well, your opinion doesn’t count here.”
His chin lowered and those incredible piercing eyes fixed even more on mine, trying to dig into the deepest part of my soul.
I just wished everything was an illusion.
An illusion that I formed in my mind, but unfortunately, it wasn’t.
It was a damn reality and it knocked me off so badly that I want to disappear and never come back.
” You don’t even know me. Who I am, where I came from….” I sighed. ” Why are you going to such an extent?”
” I guess that was the assumption you made in your head, because I clearly know everything about you.” A sinister smirk appeared on his face.
” Your name is Alessia Rossi, the only child of the Rossi family. Your parents are dead and you’re a doctor at Primrose Hospital. Your ex-fiance cheated on you with your best friend…” he stopped and leaned closer to my ear.
” Is there anything else I don’t know? Like you being a virgin?”
My jaw dropped and my core throbbed at his dirty words.
