Raymond’s arms wrapped around Lina’s waist, pulling her closer to his body. Her breast was clinging to his hard-rock chest. He hadn’t expected Lina to kiss him suddenly. The sudden kiss took him by surprise, since Lina had never taken the initiative before.
“Hmmm,” Lina moaned into their kiss as Raymond’s hand gently squeezed her waist, encouraging her. Raymond’s action made her more bold. She bit his lower lip, making him groan in pleasure. He opened his mouth for her, allowing her sleek tongue to find his long tongue, as she fought for dominance. The taste of the cigarette Raymond just finished still lingered in his tongue.
As Lina was straining her neck so much to reach him, Raymond noticed. He bent his back slightly, his hands going to the back of her knees. He lifted her up. Lina didn’t waste time wrapping her long legs around his waist, her lips never leaving his.
Raymond made his way to the resting area in his office, which looks just like his bedroom. The only difference was that this place was smaller. His left arm held her weight from her butts, while his right hand moved all over her, feeling her heavenly curves.
He kicked the door shut with his left foot before making his way to the king size bed in the room. With his lips still on Lina’s, he lay her on her back, balancing her. He raised himself up for a few minutes and immediately removed her silver heels, before doing the same for his own. He didn’t waste time joining her back on the bed. He towers over her with his elbows supporting his weight.
Lina moaned loudly as one of his hands groped her breast, fondling them through her gown. Raymond bit her lips, swallowing her moans.
His hand trailed downward to her thigh. Lina shuddered at his touch. Raymond broke their kiss, his eyes searching Lina’s own. Looking at her brown orbs, he felt like kissing them, and he did.
He placed a kiss on each of her eyes. Lina closed her eyes at the sensation.
“You are so beautiful Linny baby, I can’t seem to get enough of you.” He pressed kisses on her five points – her forehead, her cheeks, and her lips, her nose and her eyes.
Lina’s glassy eyes watched Raymond through barely parted eyelashes. Looking at the devilishly handsome Raymond atop her, Lina felt her heart would almost burst out of her chest. His earlier confession had made her lose control of her emotions, making her kiss him unexpectedly. But she didn’t regret it. Instead, she felt more satisfied and prideful that Raymond finally had her in his heart.
“Why didn’t you come back home for the past two days?” Lina gaze into Raymond’s hungry-filled blue eyes, which immediately dimmed slightly at her question. Wasn’t it obvious? Had he not done that, they wouldn’t be here by now.
With him still towering over her, Raymond said, “you still haven’t figured the reason out?”
Lina shook her head looking confused. “How would I know when I’m not inside your head?” Lina unknowingly blurted out her thoughts, gaining her a chuckle from Raymond.
“My clueless little bunny,” Raymond squeezed her cheeks with his fingers joined together. Lina pouted, not liking her cheeks being squeezed by Raymond. He pecked her pouty lips before raising himself up. He sat at the edge of the bed, his eyes fixed on her. “I did that so I can make you realize your feelings for me. I want to know how long you can stay without me. And to my surprise you came earlier than I expected.”
Lina’s eyes widened in surprise, not expecting Raymond’s ridiculous reason. “That’s not fair.” Lina also raised her back from the bed, sitting beside him with her legs folded beneath her in a kneeling posture. She reached for his big hand, and held it in her small ones.
“Did you know how worried I am after not hearing from you? You even called Butler Jenkins, but not me.” Lina complained, her hand pinching Raymond’s thick hand that was in hers.
Raymond’s eyes were filled with adoration and overflowing love as she pinched his hand with hers, showing how angry she was. A small smile couldn’t help making its way to the corner of his lips.
“So you are worried about me?” Raymond asked playfully, trying to get something out of her.
“Huh-huh,” Lina rolled her eyes at him. If she wasn’t worried, would she be here?
“Since you are worried about me, does that mean you have feelings for me?”
Lina froze at Raymond’s question. Well she should have expected this question. He just confessed his feelings for her a few minutes ago. It’s expected of him to ask her about her own feelings for him so he would know his stand in her life.
Lina raised her head to look at Raymond, who was also looking at her. His eyes were filled with something Lina couldn’t understand. She felt that if she said something that wasn’t in his expectation, he might be sad. And she doesn’t want that for him.
Taking a deep breath, Lina caressed his furrowed eyebrow with her left index finger. “I think I like you, Raymond. You are a good man. You always take care of me whenever I’m not good at taking care of myself.
I don’t feel disgusted when you touch me, so I would say I have feelings for you, but I don’t know if my feelings have reached the stage of loving you, but I know that I want to have something different from our contractual marriage with you.”
Lina’s eyes were sparkling as she said this, her eyes looking into Raymond’s blue orbs, trying to see his emotions. If Raymond loves her as he claimed, he wouldn’t mind waiting for her to fall in love with him, would he? She thought.
Raymond, who was staring at Lina like he was looking into her soul, doesn’t know what he was feeling at the moment. Though Lina didn’t say the words he wanted to hear, he was at least satisfied that she likes him and doesn’t find his advances as something disgusting.
Raymond bends to Lina’s level. Even though she was sitting on her knees while Raymond was seated normally. He was still a head taller than her. Their noses were almost touching with their foreheads joined together. Lina was confused at what Raymond wanted to do. Didn’t he hear what she said just now? Would he say something or not?
“What are…” Lina’s words were cut short by the sharp knock on Raymond’s office door. Lina immediately pushed Raymond away from herself.
“Someone is looking for you. Go and take a look.” Raymond frowned at Lina, still not saying anything.
“Are you deaf?” Lina was stupefied at Raymond’s sudden bad mood. She wanted to cut his head open and see what was going on in his head.
“If you don’t want to go, I will.” Lina uncrossed her legs that were beneath her, prepared to go get the door.
Just as she was about to stand on her feet, her leg wobbled under her, making her scream with the fear that she was going to fall heavily.
“Ahh…” she screamed in fear, but the fall she expected didn’t happen. Instead, she felt a firm hold on her waist. It turns out that Raymond had saved her at the last minute.
“Stay here. I will be right back.” Raymond warned, but there was still some warmth beneath his tone. Lina nodded her head, not daring to refute him. She still doesn’t know why his attitude changes so suddenly after her earlier words.
Raymond put on his shoes before standing up from the bed, his powerful back giving Lina quite a show. Lina couldn’t help swallowing hard at how attractive Raymond looks from behind. She felt like running towards him and hugging him from behind, but she was able to control herself at the last minute.
“What is it?” Raymond’s cold echoed outside his office the moment he opened the door. He was in the middle of discussing something important with his wife. How dare Lucas disrupt their conversation?
Lucas shivered at his boss’ cold voice. Did he disrupt something important? He thought as he took a step forward. If it wasn’t something urgent, he too wouldn’t dare to come here, knowing the lady boss was inside with his boss.
“Sir, it’s an emergency call from the old mansion. Your grandpa suddenly collapses, and your attention is needed right away.” Lucas reported in one breath, his eyes not daring to look into his boss’s face. He knew how important the old man was to his boss. He was aware of his boss suffering for the past two days. His confrontation with his grandfather had taken a toll on him.
Raymond’s eyes were instantly filled with panic. “Who called you? Inform the person that I will be right there.” Without waiting for his response, Raymond shut the door. The moment he turned back, he collided with Lina, who had already arranged her scattered hair. She had fixed her clothes and put on her silver-heel sandals.
As Raymond was checking her out, Lina says, “what happened to your grandfather? I hope it’s nothing serious?” Lina asked, her body already shaking with worry.
Raymond walked around her, making his way to his desk. “I can’t say what’s wrong with him. I need to go to the old mansion and go and check it out.” Raymond said as he picked up his phone to see four missed calls from his grandfather’s PA.
“Can I come with you?” Lina was also worried. Though she hadn’t met the old man, she could tell that Raymond cares alot about him from his reactions.
