The question came so suddenly that it left Georgia and Luther momentarily stunned.
After a brief pause, Luther nodded repeatedly, exclaiming, “Of course, I’m willing! How could I not be? I’ve been willing from the moment I first saw Georgia. I fell in love with her at first sight and couldn’t pull myself away.”
Hearing this, Scarlett couldn’t help but let out a teasing “Oh my!”
Luther’s face darkened as he asked, “You’re not joking with me, are you?”
Scarlett chuckled. “How could I joke about something like this? I’m serious. If you’re willing, we’ll make sure Georgia divorces that fool. Don’t worry, we’ll take care of it.”
“Mom!” Georgia called out unhappily, her voice tinged with frustration.
In truth, Georgia had no feelings for Luther. She had even disliked him initially. But after seeing him play the piano, her dislike had softened. At least, when Luther played, Georgia found herself listening intently.
“What’s the problem? I think Luther is a great choice! Trust me on this one, sweetheart. Luther is definitely a hundred times better than that heartless Kayden,” Scarlett said quickly.
Cyan chimed in, “Exactly, Georgia. I also think Mr. Falcon is much better than your husband. Mr. Falcon is talented and romantic-he’s the prince charming so many people dream of. Do you know how many women line up just to get a chance with him?”
Hearing this, Luther immediately pulled out an invitation and handed it to Georgia. “Georgia, the real reason I came today is to invite you to join me at the Hiphia Music Festival happening in three days.”
Georgia glanced at the invitation and hesitated. “I’m sorry, Mr. Falcon, but I don’t know much about music. Attending this kind of event doesn’t make much sense for me. You know how I-”
“Go. Why wouldn’t you? Mr. Falcon invited you, so of course, you should go. How else will you move on from the past?” Scarlett interrupted firmly, snatching the ticket and handing it to Georgia.

Over the past few days, Kayden had been keeping himself busy investigating Georgia’s situation.
No one could explain what had happened. It was as if, overnight, she had suddenly changed her heart.
Kayden had always kept people assigned to protect Georgia. On the day Billy came to see her, however, the two bodyguards had been called away. They hadn’t seen Billy approach Georgia, and this became a key source of confusion for Kayden.
Georgia’s sudden change baffled Kayden. He had no answers and no clarity. He wanted to ask what had happened, but Georgia refused to answer, leaving him with nothing but silence.
For someone like Kayden, known for his cold and calculating nature, this was the first time he had been troubled by emotions. Still, he tried to hide it as much as possible.
Showing too much would attract attention. And if others noticed this weakness, over time, it could become a fatal flaw. A man with no vulnerabilities-that was Kayden’s ultimate goal.
Sitting in the garden of a small cabin, Kayden noticed that Diomidis Stevens had already left for the day. When Kayden woke up, the old man was nowhere to be seen.
For the past few days, Kayden had been staying in this serene location. Coleman had come to visit him several times, but Kayden had refused each time. He enjoyed the tranquil environment and the meaningful conversations he shared with Diomidis Stevens.
Suddenly, a man rushed through the gate carrying a woman on his back. His voice was filled with urgency as he shouted, “Dr. Stevens! Dr. Stevens, help! Please help!”
Initially uninterested in getting involved, Kayden reconsidered. After all, he was staying at Stevens’ place-it wouldn’t hurt to lend a hand.
He stood up and asked, “What’s going on?”
The man looked at Kayden, confused. “Where’s Dr. Stevens?”
Kayden shook his head. “I don’t know. He left early this morning. What’s wrong with the patient?”
The man, clearly distressed, hesitated to trust the young stranger. “Are you Dr. Stevens’ apprentice?”
Kayden paused for a moment, then nodded slightly. “You could say that.”
This vague response seemed to ease the man’s mind. He gently laid the woman down and pleaded, “Please, young man, take a look at my wife! She’s been acting so strange lately.”
Kayden turned his attention to the woman. She was bound with ropes, lying motionless out of sheer exhaustion. The moment she was placed on the ground, however, she began to writhe and struggle. Her piercing eyes locked onto Kayden, and she let out a series of guttural growls, sending chills down his spine.
“I don’t know what’s wrong with her,” the man began. “She’s been acting strange in her sleep. At first, she would just walk around the room at night and then go back to bed. But over time, it got worse. She started going to the kitchen. And lately, she’s been leaving the house entirely.
“I tried locking the doors, but she would try to jump out the window. I had no choice but to unlock the doors and follow her whenever she sleepwalked.
“People say you shouldn’t wake a sleepwalker, so I never dared to. I just followed her quietly. But in the past two days, things have gotten really disturbing. She’s been heading toward Mount Longevity, carrying a shovel, like she’s going to dig up graves.”
Mount Longevity was a local burial ground, a place where the dead were laid to rest.
“I was terrified, so I locked all the doors and even blocked the stairs to the second floor. But last night, I fell asleep by accident. When I woke up, she was gone-off to the graveyard with her shovel.
“I found her this morning at the cemetery. She was kneeling in front of a grave, eating dirt and muttering nonsense.
“I don’t know what’s happening, but I’m scared out of my wits! So I tied her up and brought her here. I thought Dr. Stevens might be able to help us. He’s so knowledgeable-he must know what’s going on.”
The man finished speaking and looked at Kayden, who remained silent. Nervous, the man asked cautiously, “What do you think, young man? Are you scared? Can you handle this? If not, we can wait for your teacher to return.”
This wasn’t an ordinary medical case-it was far beyond that. It seemed almost supernatural.
For someone like Kayden, matters like these weren’t particularly challenging. As he prepared to respond, a voice suddenly called out from outside the door.
“You’re scaring the kid. Of course, he can’t handle a case like this!”
