Chapter 19

Book:Billionaire's Contracted & Unloved Wife Published:2025-2-9

Ariel wanted to resist, but she received an intense slap behind her ass, “Behave,” Aiden, growled and claimed her lips once more in a fiery hot kiss.
Ariel swore she almost felt her knees give out from that spank on her ass if Aiden’s strong arm wasn’t holding her up by her waist.
She didn’t realize it, but she slowly started to move her lips with his, kissing him back. She felt her body start to hum with an unrecognized yearning; all she knew at that moment was that she needed to feel more, more of Aiden, more of anything responsible for making her insides twist.
Aiden kissed her, she was addicting. He sucked her soft, plump lips into his mouth, using his tongue to part her lips, and went right in to explore her sweet mouth.
“Ah…” Ariel moaned softly when she felt Aiden’s hands behind her ass, squeezing them.
Her body was burning in wanton fever. She had never been this close to a man before, and she never knew the feeling could be this intense and paralyzing.
She was about to go in for another kiss when Aiden suddenly moved his face away from hers.
She paused and frowned, blinking multiple times to let her brain synchronize the situation, “What happened?” Ariel heard herself ask breathlessly, staring up at his face in utter confusion.
“Step away from me,” Aiden said coldly, releasing her waist.
Ariel was embarrassed, her cheeks heated up and she felt so cheap. Once again, she had let this man mock her.
“Oh!” Ariel exclaimed as she tripped herself and almost fell, but she saw Aiden rush forward and hold her arm, slowly righting her up.
“Dumb,” he muttered and immediately released her.
“T-thank you,” She said, hiding her face away from him.
She didn’t know what else to do under Aiden’s intense gaze, so she hurriedly turned and walked to the door.
“Ariel,” He called again, his voice low.
Ariel paused at the center of the office, slowly turning to face him, but didn’t stare into his eyes.
“Do you like him?” Aiden asked, looking at Ariel’s bowed head.
He saw her slowly raise her head to him, confusion evident in her cute face.
“Do I like who, sir?” Ariel asked awkwardly.
She wanted to leave and hide away from him after what had just happened between them, she didn’t feel like staying and having a chat with him.
Aiden took a deep breath before asking again.
“Do you like Ken, Ariel?” He asked more clearly this time.
Ariel was speechless, why would he even be asking her that sort of question? What did he take her for?
“I…” Ariel wanted to give a simple reply but suddenly paused as an idea came to her head.
Aiden was raising an angry brow at her; he was wondering why she couldn’t reply; did she really like him? Someone she’s just met?
“What are you doing?” Aiden asked as he saw Ariel slowly approaching him with a mischievous smile on her face.
He was confused; this was the first time she had ever smiled at him, and even though he knew it wasn’t a genuine smile, it still made him wonder why she suddenly decided to smile at him.
“I think the question should be, dear husband, why did you kiss me?” Ariel slowly sashayed her way back to Aiden.
It was Aiden’s turn to be speechless, he never thought he’d get asked such a question by Ariel.
He was completely surprised by her sudden gain of confidence, and she was really trying to put him in a corner. But he wouldn’t let her.
Aiden scoffed, “Don’t get ahead of yourself… that, was a rehearsal,” He said coldly and turned to move away from her.
Ariel didn’t know where she got the nerves, but she reached out her hand and turned him back to face her, immediately tipping her toes and wrapping her arms around his broad shoulders, covering any space between them as she whispered in his ear.
“That didn’t feel like a rehearsal to me…” She brought her face in front of his own, her lips a whisper away from his, “Or, are you jealous?” She asked against his lips.
Ariel’s heart was racing, but she maintained her composure, she needed to do this. She wanted to find out if Aiden was truly a cold monster who just toiled with people’s feelings or if he had a suppressed feeling he didn’t want people to see.
Aiden had been shocked from the moment Ariel drew him back to herself, he had braced his hands against his table to bear her weight as she leaned herself against him.
Looking down at her beautiful face that was very close to his, that urge to claim her as he arose again, but… he wasn’t about to become a victim to a gold-digger.
“Am I jealous?” He asked in a deep voice, smirking down at her.
Ariel nodded, not stepping away from him, even as she saw his face turn cold.
Aiden frowned at her; he wanted to reply but decided against it because, honestly, he didn’t know too. Was he jealous?
“Get off me, Ms. Dew,” He said harshly, sounding and looking irritated.
“You don’t have to be… like this all the time…” Ariel didn’t flinch from his harsh tone, she gently placed her palm on his cheek and caressed the sides of his face.
“You can be human too. You can hurt, you can be happy, you can be jealous, and you can… love…” Ariel whispered.
Aiden scoffed, “I can love?” He asked lowly, taking his arms behind her and wrapping them around her waist, drawing her against his front.
“Yes,” Ariel replied, looking into his blue eyes.
“And, you think it’s you I should love?” He asked in a whisper beside her ear.
Ariel shivered from his hot whisper, feeling the game, changing, m. She was supposed to be the one with the upper hand, what was happening now?
“I-I, no, not me… anyone,” Ariel replied, flustered.
“Good choice, little wife,” He chuckled sexily, taking one of his hands down to her ass.
“Ah…” Ariel gasped, looking searchingly into his cold eyes.
This was exactly why she believed he was jealous, he looked very possessive of her yet so repulsed by her.
She wanted to know where they stood.
Aiden smirked at her reaction, “Then, why are you back in my arms if you didn’t want to make me love you?” Aiden asked, controlling himself from doing what his body was telling him to do.
No, he wouldn’t do it, even though the ass in his hand was tempting him to do it, he wouldn’t. Ariel was below his class, if he wanted to fuck someone, he’d do it with a refined woman, not some low-classed girl.
Ariel gulped, his hand that was just simply palming her ass made her forget what her mission was.
“I don’t want you to love me, I just want you to admit that you kissed me because you were jealous,” Ariel replied firmly, staring at his eyes.
Aiden chuckled, “Jealous you say?” He was bringing his face close to hers again.
“Yes, if not, you wouldn’t have kissed me like – mph!” Ariel was suddenly cut off by Aiden’s lips.
“Like this?” His voice was a low timbrel.
“Y-yes…” Ariel breathed out.
Aiden smirked sexily at her, “Or like this?” His lips found hers again.
This time, he kissed her with all his frustrations.
It was an angry kiss; he was angry at her for making him question his own feelings, he was angry at Ken for causing those feelings to intensify, and he was angry at himself for letting those feelings get to him.
“Mr. Chaz, I think we should-”
“Quiet, Ariel,” He growled and immediately flipped her around, caging her between his hand on the table.
Before Ariel could understand what was happening, he grabbed her behind the neck and slammed his lips against hers.
He kissed her hotly, his hand digging into her hip, and his tongue pushing forward to taste the tip of her tongue.
They were both panting, the unspoken desire rising between them as they kissed each other.
Ariel was feeling herself starting to lose control, no, this isn’t what she came here for.
Alarm bells suddenly went in her head as she felt Aiden’s hand slide up from her hips up to the side of her breast.
Slap!
Ariel stood wide-eyed as she realized what she had just done.
“Oh my god!” She gasped, placing her hand over her mouth.
She had just slapped the mighty Aiden Chaz.
It was over, she knew it, her aim for this marriage had been defeated.
She slowly leaned away from the table and walked toward Aiden who still had an unreadable expression on his face.
“I-I I’m really s-sorry, I’m really sorry,” Ariel apologized, looking scared for her life.
Aiden was shocked at first, but it quickly wore off. Maybe, he did deserve the slap; it helped reset his brain and stopped him from crossing that border because, if he had crossed that damn border, there was no coming back for him.
He saw the shock on Ariel’s face as he casually went and sat on his chair.
He pinned her down with his stare as he said, “Whatever I’ve done, regard it as a rehearsal for when we’re in front of my grandma. Secondly, I don’t care who you like, Ms. Dew; you mean nothing to me, so I can never be jealous of you,” He scoffed and picked up his pen.
“A gold digger like you, no one can ever love you, and I can’t trust someone like you either, with your double identity. Tell me, which is the real you, Ms. Hudson or Ms. Dew?” Aiden asked, narrowing his cold eyes at her.
Ariel was hurt. Why was everyone this way with her? Was it what she was destined for? Where others succeeded, she always failed.
Staring at Aiden, she couldn’t understand what wrong she had done to him, why did he hate her so much?
“Aiden,” She called, fear far gone from her.
She wanted to make things clear with him.
Aiden’s ears perked up immediately after he heard his name. He snapped his head at her. Something throbbed within him as he heard her call his first name for the first time. He just stared at her, not saying a word.
“Why do you hate me so much? Why do you regard me as a gold-digger when I’ve never asked you for a dime?” Ariel looked like she was holding back her rage, she’d had enough.
Marriage wasn’t a license for abusing one’s spouse, and she was about to make him understand that.
Aiden was taken aback by her fierceness for a second before he quickly masked his face with his cold uncaring mask.
“You don’t get to question me, little wife. Now get out of my office,” Aiden ordered, his tone icy and distant.
Just when Ariel was about to open her mouth and say something, the door behind her opened, causing both she and Aiden to look at the door.
Aiden knew who it might be, his grandma or Jess, only they could unlock his door with their fingerprints.
As expected, Jess walked into the room, but his face fell the moment he saw the person behind Jess.
“Hello, Ariel. It’s great meeting you again,” Ken said as he came in to stand beside Ariel.
Aiden once again, felt those unknown feelings rearing their heads up within him.
