Ariel immediately stood and walked around her table, not knowing what to say or how to act with Grandma Nari’s sudden appearance.
“You look well, Ariel,” Grandma Nari said, smiling as she stared at Ariel.
“Thank you, Ms. Nari, you too,” Ariel said, awkwardly putting her hair behind he ear.
She was nervous because she was aware that Grandma Nari wasn’t aware of the new contract between her and her grandson, and she was praying for the old woman to leave quickly, staying longer might lead her to see how her relationship was with Aiden.
That would turn out really bad for her.
“Oh please, call me Grandama,” Grandma Nari waved her hand in front of her and fully entered the office.
“Okay…” Ariel replied.
“Tell me,” She put her hand around Ariel’s shoulder.
Ariel felt weird; she didn’t believe anyone would just be nice to her like that without wanting something.
“Are you pregnant already?” Grandma Nari asked mischievously.
Ariel’s eyes widened in surprise. This wasn’t what she was expecting at all. How could the old woman ask something like that so casually?
“Um… ah… I’m sorry, not yet, Grandma,” Ariel didn’t know what else to say.
She already felt embarrassed talking about such a subject with someone she barely knew.
“Oh, that boy, is he skipping his duties?” Grandma Nari asked, frowning.
Ariel immediately felt her cheeks flame up when she heard what Grandma Nari said. She knew what the old woman meant when she asked if Aiden was skipping his duties, and it wasn’t the kind of thought to entertain in front of an elder.
“No, Grandma, I think he’s just been very busy, and I understand, it’s not like we’ve not-”
“Stop trying g to protect him. Follow me, that boy is going to explain why he’s not gotten his lovely wife pregnant,” Grandma Nari held Ariel’s hand and dragged her out of the office towards Aiden’s office.
Ariel immediately panicked, this was escalating faster than she thought. She let the old woman drag her behind; resisting would make her suspicious, and her grip was quite strong for her age.
She was surprised to see the old woman unlock Aiden’s door with her fingerprint; it went to show how much he loved her and how close they were to each other.
Ariel was filled with worry about how she was going to act with Aiden and not make the old woman suspect them.
But to her greatest surprise, Aiden was already on his feet as they walked into his office, an adoring dimpled smile on his face.
She would have frozen on her feet if Grandma Nari wasn’t dragging her into the office. So Aiden was capable of smiling?!
Aiden had already seen his Grandma through his camera and had already planned how he was going to act with his wife. He only hoped that Ariel would cooperate with him.
“Grandma, I didn’t know you were coming, I would have sent Gregory to pick you up,” Aiden said as he walked up to his grandma, placing a kiss on her cheek.
“Oh, nonsense, I have my own driver, and I wanted to come give you and my daughter-in-law a surprise visit,” Grandma Nari said, smiling at Ariel.
“Oh, yes, I see you’ve met with my darling wife. Honey, isn’t Grandma so thoughtful?” He asked, turning to look at Ariel with a loving smile.
Ariel opened and closed her mouth like a fish out of water, she couldn’t believe her eyes. Was the person in front of her still her mean and cold husband? Or was she imagining all this in her head?
“You see, Grandma, surprises make my wife shy; she can’t even speak anymore; come here, darling,” Aiden said and pulled Ariel over to him by her waist.
Ariel didn’t think she could still get shocked by Aiden, but he kept proving to her that he was a naked, sparking wire, always ready to electrocute her with every single touch.
Just as he was touching her right now. He had his arm protectively around her waist, using his fingers to sensually rub the side of her waist.
“Hmm, you can’t even let me hold my daughter-in-law,” Grandma Nari complained, but there was a satisfied glint showing in her eyes and face.
“I love you Grandma, but I can’t share my wife with you,” Aiden said and suddenly leaned down and placed a kiss beside Ariel’s lips.
At this level, Aiden needed an oxygen mask. What the hell was Aiden playing at, her breath was coming in shorts from the whirlwind of feelings she got from Aiden’s sudden public display of affection. It was understandable if he was just holding her to convince the old woman that they were a loving couple, but kissing her?! She didn’t think that was necessary.
“You love her this much, and you still haven’t gotten her pregnant. Care to explain why?” Grandma Nari asked sternly.
Ariel bit her lips, looking up at Aiden for him to answer the question; she was blank, with nothing to cover up with.
“Come on, Grandma, that should be our decision, don’t force us, right, Darling?” He asked Ariel softly.
Ariel looked at Grandma Nari’s face then back at Aiden’s smiling face.
“Uh, yes…” Ariel replied, choosing to go along with Aiden’s story.
“Your decision you say?” Grandma Nari questioned.
Aiden held Ariel’s wrist as he led his grandma to the black comfy sofa, helping her sit down.
Ariel was about to move away from him to sit a distance from them, but he suddenly caught her wrist and lowered her down onto his lap.
Ariel instantly became a statue as she found herself sitting on Aiden’s strong thighs.
“You see, Grandma, we can’t get enough of each other; not having children was our decision, but since you’ve traveled from far to ask for grandchildren, we shall grant your wish, right, Darling?” He asked close to Ariel’s ear.
Ariel clenched her fists on top of her lap, she felt coerced. But, she managed to nod calmly. “Yes, Grandma, we promise to give you a grandchild before the year runs out,” Ariel said convincingly.
“Great, great! This is great news, I’ll start the baby shopping right away! You two keep busy and make sure I hear the good news before the end of the month,” Grandma Nari said and immediately sprang up from the sofa.
She patted Ariel’s cheeks and smiled before she excitedly left the office.
Ariel released a loud sigh and immediately tried to stand from Aiden’s lap but he locked her down tightly with his arms around her waist.
“You can release me now, Sir, she’s gone,” Ariel said, trying to unlock his arms from around her.
“Keep moving and we might actually make a baby right here and right now,” Aiden whispered against her ear.
Ariel instantly went still. She suddenly realized that she was sitting right at the center of his lap, and her butt could feel his junior member between his legs, she couldn’t help but imagine how big he was. If he was this big on a normal day, then how would he be when he was in the mood?
“Your face is flushed, little wife, are you having dirty thoughts about your handsome husband?” He questioned seductively, his breath fanning the back of her neck.
Ariel felt her heart accelerate, goosebumps immediately appeared across her skin.
“Please, let me go,” She said softly.
“Why should I?” Aiden asked, slowly tracing his fingers along her arm.
He was finding her reactions to be satisfying, he never knew teasing her this way would make her obedient.
Maybe he would divert his method with her; instead of being mean, he’ll apply her methods instead: seduction.
When he played her game and proved to her that he was better at it, she would definitely back down.
Ariel was starting to sweat in the air-conditioned room; this side of Aiden was something she couldn’t handle. She could handle a cold and arrogant Aiden, but a flirtatious and clingy Aiden? She had no manual on that.
“Answer me, little wife,” Aiden whispered in her ear.
He suddenly placed a hand on her exposed thigh, using his thumb to circle the side of her thigh.
“You wore such a short skirt, wanted to get my attention?” He slowly moved his finger inside her thigh.
“No!” Ariel suddenly stood from his hold when he released her waist to caress her thigh.
She couldn’t bear it any longer. Aiden was a master of seduction, and she knew better than to fall for him; he was just testing her so he could accuse her of wanting to seduce him again.
“I have to go, Sir. There are some tasks I need to attend to,” Ariel said and quickly turned to walk away.
Aiden smirked seeing his fleeing wife.
‘This is fun,’ He thought to himself.
Ariel was almost at the door when her waist was suddenly grabbed from behind and her body was plastered flush against Aiden’s strong chest.
“I’ve changed my mind, little wife. We’re making the baby for Grandma,” His voice sounded sensually beside her ear.
