Chapter 2553: Witnessing Happiness

Tom reached out and tightly embraced the sincere girl, feeling as if he had the whole world at that moment. In the audience, some were moved to tears by Agnes’s speech. When they exchanged wedding rings, the crowd erupted in applause once more.
Mr. Johnsons also attended in formal attire, wearing a suit. He sat among the guests, clapping with a smile on his face, looking at the couple with a touch of sentiment in his eyes. Since Agnes got engaged, Ansel had been feeling down and spoke less than usual. Today, Ansel did not come; as a father, Mr. Johnsons did not force him, fearing it would upset him more. Emotional wounds need time to heal; others cannot mend them.
The wedding ceremony ended with a passionate kiss from the newlyweds, and the audience’s enthusiastic applause brought the wedding atmosphere to its peak. Ivan and Jennifer stood together, holding wine glasses; he in a suit and she in an elegant long dress. Despite being married for so long and having three children, they still exuded a special sweetness that drew many admiring glances.
Williams and Jane came over to toast Mr. Marsh and Mrs. Marsh first, treating them as VIPs. “Thank you, Mr. Marsh, Mrs. Marsh, for taking time out of your busy schedules to attend my son’s wedding,” Williams said sincerely, his face full of gratitude.
“Mr. Fritz, no need to be so polite,” Ivan responded gracefully, smiling as he clinked glasses with his wife alongside them. “Congratulations.”
“Thank you, thank you.”
After everyone clinked glasses and took a sip of their drinks, Williams and his wife exchanged a few more words before bidding farewell to greet other guests.
Spencer and Summer approached them. Since Summer was pregnant and couldn’t drink wine, she poured herself half a glass of juice. With a smile, they came over and clinked glasses directly before Spencer spoke, “Ivan, Jennifer.” His tone was full of respect, his face beaming with a smile.
“Ivan, Jennifer,” Summer greeted with a smile as well.
Ivan and Jennifer responded warmly; they were happy to see them there. The circle was indeed small; everyone seemed to revolve around Ivan.
“How have you been feeling lately?” Jennifer asked Summer with concern as she glanced at her already prominent belly. “Any pregnancy symptoms?”
“Not too bad; no major pregnancy symptoms, just some insomnia at night,” Summer replied with a happy smile on her face, clearly enjoying her married life.
Ivan then asked Spencer about the club matters. Spencer reported his recent activities truthfully as if giving an update on work. It was evident that Spencer had changed significantly since getting married-more responsible and dedicated to the Buckland family.
However, Ivan and Jennifer didn’t chat with him for long. Checking his watch, Ivan said to him, “We have to go now; we have another wedding to attend today.”
“Alright,” Spencer replied without asking further questions to save time. He just patted his wife’s shoulder and said to them, “Go ahead, take care.”
Ivan and Jennifer finished their wine without wasting any before turning to leave.
On another part of the beach, about a five-minute walk away, another simpler but equally carefully arranged beach wedding was taking place. This was a pink-themed wedding and very dreamy. The entire wedding venue was decorated in pink tones-from the tables and chairs to the balloons and flowers used for decoration.
