~ISSA
My heart skipped a beat as I watched Yulia go from her usual loud mouthed-self into a terrified little girl.
That was when all my senses went on high alert.
“What is it?” I asked, trying to keep my voice even.
Iran was making things harder the closer I was to her. He kept putting images of Yulia naked and bound to my bed in my mind. I felt a slight twitch in my cock.
“It’s Lana,” She said breathlessly and showed me the screen of her phone.
I saw a girl of Yulia’s age with dirty blond hair and eyes filled with fear as she was tied to a chair. She was Yulia’s close friend.
“Please, do something, Issa…” She begged and I heard her heartbeat intensified. “I do not want to lose anyone else.”
I grabbed her by the wrist. Big mistake. Iran became agitated and fought for control.
‘She needs help, can’t you see!’ I yelled at him in my mind.
Of course Iran did not give a fuck about anyone but his primal needs.
“Let’s go,” I told her as I pulled her to where my black Porsche was parked. “Direct me to her place.”
I did not want to jump to any conclusion about who was behind it but I had a clue who it was.
“Issa!” Miles yelled as he ran after us. “Leaving your party early?” He asked with a smug smile but it disappeared when he saw our faces.
“Those faces tell me something is very wrong.”
“Her friend is in trouble and we are going to help,” I said, tossing Yulia’s phone to him. He looked at the screen and a dark expression appeared on his face.
“It’s a trap, Issa, you have to know that,” Miles pointed out.
“I know but we are going anyway,” I said and collected the phone, handing it back to Yulia. I opened the passenger seat for her and she hastily got in.
“I am coming with you,” Miles said.
“No!” I barked. “Stay here and report to me about what goes on inside, I got this.”
“But-”
“Miles… I was not asking. It was not a request.” I got behind the steering wheel without waiting for his reply.
I pushed the start button on, and the car whispered to life. I reversed the car and made a sharp turn before I pulled the gear into drive. At top speed, I drove out of my court into the night.
Yulia’s phone rang.
“Put it on loud speaker,” I told her. I was expecting them to call.
She obeyed me immediately. That was a first.
“Hello?” Yulia said.
A scream answered. It was Lana. Yulia went rigid with fear of what her friend was going through.
“If you want your girlfriend to live to see another day, you will do what I say,” A male voice stated.
“What do you want? Please don’t hurt her!” Yulia replied.
“Good girl,” The voice replied.
I gripped the steering wheel until my knuckles turned white. The rage I was feeling was created by Iran. No one called Yulia that. It sounded possessive. She belonged to me!
‘Us!’ Iran corrected in my head. ‘She belongs to us.’
“Come to this apartment, alone. If I see anyone with you, your best friend forever dies… just like Marianna.”
Now, they just made it personal. They rubbed my sister’s death in her face. Someone was going to die.
“You have forty minutes, anything later than that, I am going to start cutting pieces of sweet Lana and you do not want that.”
The line clicked off and silence filled the car. An uneasy silence. Yulia looked at me.
“What are we going to do?” She asked. “You heard him. He said I should come alone.”
“I am not letting you out of my sight,” I curtly replied.
My head was going into overdrive as I thought of what to do. I did not give a shit about Lana or whatever her name was but if she were to die, it would really break Yulia’s spirit and mind.
“So what’s the plan?” She asked in a desperate tone after a long while of silence and just driving.
“I am still thinking,” I pushed the gas pedal to the floor increasing the speed of the vehicle. We had less than twenty minutes.
“Nothing will happen to your friend,” I assured her. I could see the doubt in her eyes. “I promise,” I added to keep her calm.
We soon entered Yulia’s old town and the buildings all came into view.
“Her apartment is just a few blocks ahead,” Yulia said as I turned the car and entered a posh neighborhood. I pulled the car to a stop and killed the engine.
“Why are we stopping?” She asked in alarm.
“Because we need to walk the rest of the way, he told you to come alone, so that’s what you will do. I will find another way into your friend’s apartment.” I told her.
She came down from the car and I followed a few feet behind her.
“Yulia,” I called her and she turned to me. Her eyes were full of worry and fear.
“I need you to be brave. Whoever is there, distract them for as long as you can then leave the rest to me,” I instructed her.
She nodded and sighed to calm her nerves.
I could see a little spark of confidence in her and I knew that she was ready. I let her walk twenty paces ahead and followed her. I did not want to be seen with her. I needed to give the impression that Yulia was alone.
That would make whoever it was relax and lower their guard. It was late in the night, the perfect time to hunt. I could feel Iran getting restless by the thought of killing.
‘Calm yourself, you will have your fun,’ I told the beast in me.
I watched as Yulia opened the door to Lana’s high rise apartment and walked in.
Then I called to the shadows to cover the whole area. It was time to spill blood.
