DIEGO’S POINT OF VIEW
I looked at Isla like she had lost her mind or something, she had to have lost her mind because why would she ever suggest that I fu…sleep with my cousin. Leilani is like my younger sister, the younger sister I never had, I watched her grow up. Her mother is crazy suggesting that.
“Please Diego it’s for a very good reason.” Queen Isla said, the robe she was wearing over the completely slutty night dress slipped down her shoulder, she batted her long thick luscious eye lashes and caressed my face with her hands as she spoke.
I recoiled away from her touch.
“Let’s not do that.” I said moving her hand away from my face. Why do I feel like doing anything with any other woman would be me betraying Valentina?! Why do I not want to betray her?! I really shouldn’t care about that Valentina but oddly enough I do, even though all I want to do is rip Isla night dress off her sexy body and fuck her till she begs me to stop, even though the thought of Isla’s naked body has been glued to my head since I got that letter, even though this woman is literally offering herself on a platter of gold I can’t seem to take the opportunity, it would meet Valentina! I don’t know why I care but I do, ugh!
“I know you want to fuck me so you can just drop this whole act of modesty.” Isla said, her lips so close to mine just like the first time we fucked I wanted more than anything to press her lips against mine and teach that foul mouth some respect but I didn’t because of the person I now hate the most.
“Diego you are no fun anymore.” Isla pouted her lips.
“You know I really like this ‘hard to get’ game that you are playing, you know how competitive I can be.” Isla said as she traced my cock with her hands through my trousers. I closed my eyes, felt my cock starting to harden and when I felt like I couldn’t take the torture anymore, just when I was about to throw caution into the air and claim her then and there she stopped.
“Too easy.” She whispered into my ear and I felt dumb, dumber than the first time we fucked when I came in thirty seconds. She had laughed at me and tapped my head like I was a little child, it’s this game she plays, a game I hate so much because it always ends with me feeling stupid.
“But would you help me with Leilani?” Isla asked.
“Of course not she is my cousin!” I yelled upset for two reasons. First of all she just made me feel completely stupid, secondly she is asking for the unthinkable.
“She’s not your cousin Diego. You both have absolutely no blood relation remember? I am related to your late brother Dester’s mom who by the way is not your biological mother.” Isla said using her authoritative Queenly voice. It’s almost hard to believe that she was the one flirting with me a few seconds ago.
“You see, creating alliances and agreeing to royal marriages is nothing but a game, a game of chess really and I don’t want Leilani to be caught in the crossfire of this game.” Queen Isla said reflectively as she paced the room, with her hands rubbing against each other nervously.
“Leilani is very… passionate, she doesn’t understand that falling in love is not an option in this life we live, this life of politics and betrayals. I don’t want the prime minister’s son to be the first person she sleeps with, I don’t want him to hold that much power over her, I don’t want her to fall in love with him, that love will destroy her, he will destroy her.” Queen Isla continued. She had my full attention.
“I trust you with my daughter’s heart Diego, I know you would never try to hurt her or us, everything you would do would be for the good of my kingdom. Diego, Leilani loves you have you seen the way she looks at you? I want my daughter to at least have that one night of passionate bliss before she goes into that hell that would be her marriage.” Queen Isla said.
“Then why don’t you just call off the marriage then? Why then do you want Leilani to marry that man if you know he would bring her so much grief?” I asked completely puzzled.
“It’s how the game goes Diego, pawn your most prized possession for a little bit of gold, that’s how the game goes, It’s time for my daughter to play her part in ensuring the longevity of this kingdom. She has to play her part even if it costs her her happiness.” Queen Isla stated.
VALENTINA’S POINT OF VIEW
“You would be on your way to Islanvic by this time tomorrow. You have a job… do it well.” That crazy bitch Leanor said. I sighed in sadness.
She handed me a file.
“That is his portfolio. I want both but success, got it!” Leanor yelled, I nodded. She left the room and I sat on my bed and open the file.
There was a picture of a young man on a horse on the first page.
THE PRIME MINISTER’S SON (the file read)
NAME: Sir Giovanni Micheallo
LOCATION: Islanvic
FAVOURITE SPORT: horse back riding.
CHARACTER: narcissistic, rude, spoilt.
MISSION: gain his trust and on the third day deliver him to Leanor.
I read the the document over and over again. Ridiculous, who is this Giovanni anyway?
I closed my eyes and against my wishes my mind drew up a picture of that Diego. I can’t stop thinking of him no matter how much I try and that doesn’t make sense because I am so sure I hate him, I want nothing more than to see him death but yet I can’t stop thinking about him, I can’t stop wanting him right her by my side.
I closed my eyes, drifted to my dream, the only place that I allow myself the freedom to love Diego without any restraint.
Someone was knocking on my door, I ignored it and remained in my peaceful abyss.
And then Malfoy barged in.
“Someone wants to see you.” He said with that creepy smile that makes me shiver in fear…
