Timothy Ann, who had just come back from the company, saw his daughter and his wife arguing.
“What are you people arguing about?”
“Dad, did you know who asked me out?” Elvira replied before her mother could talk.
“Who?” Timothy Ann asked.
“Rex Anderson, the young master of the Anderson’s” Elvira pulled her father by the arm, unable to suppress her excitement, “Father, I told you the last time I wanted him. Now he’s looking for me after realizing that I’m more sensible and prettier than that Ariel Ann.”
Timothy Ann’s body shook in fear and he looked at her worriedly. “Elvira, you have Damien Rex Anderson. He is not as easy as he looks. He maybe gentle on the surface, but he’s not somebody you can play with. Besides, you’ve only seen him for a few times. Don’t be tricked, you are not his match.”
“Elvira listens to your father”
Elvira Ann looked at her father and mother and frowned in displeasure.
“Look at you two. Did you think Ariel is better than me? It seems you two really like her and you can’t bear to see me having such a good life?”
“Elvira!”
“Have you suddenly gone mad? I allowed Ariel to marry him because you are pregnant with Damien’s child. You are my beloved child. I gave birth to you out of love. That Rex Anderson is a wheelchair user. If you marry him you will end up a widow. It is because we love you that we allow your sister to marry him. “No not at all”, Rex Anderson quickly waved his hand.
“If you have anything to say next time, you can come to find me, I will surely create a time for you. Anyti…” Rex Anderson’s phone rang before he could finish his words. He looked down.
It was Jacob.
“Hey man, would like to hang out tonight. It has been a long time since I last saw you. After you sent me on a vacation. I didn’t want to go”, Rex smiled and replied with a “Hum”. Immediately, Elvira’s face was green with envy. Why must she call now? I just hate that witch, just wait and see how I will take Rex away from you. She quickly covered her emotions by plastering a smile on her face and said,
“You and my sister seem to be getting along” Rex paused, it seemed she misunderstood.
“Yes”
“Is it because you love my sister that makes you give her the position of vice president?”
“As the young mistress of the Anderson family, it is important to learn how to handle big and small matters. I’m just asking your sister to go to the company to gain experience.”
