Early in the morning, when Rex woke up from his sleep, Ariel was still sleeping heavily. He turned sideways and gently pushed some broken hair back into her ear.
Seeing her sleeping peacefully, the corner of his lips gently rose. Last night he was like a beast.
“I hurt you so much yesterday. It looks like I’ll have to be gentle the next time.” Rex leaned over and planted a kiss on Ariel’s forehead, then got off the bed carefully.
When Ariel woke up, Rex Anderson was already gone. She said a silent prayer before getting out of bed. Immediately she set her foot on the warm and cozy rug. What first tugged the nerves in her brain was the burning pain inside her vaginal “Rex Anderson, you devil”. She screamed and cursed while bracing herself.
The first thing Ariel did when she got up was to take a very long shower in the bathroom.

She scrubs her whole body before she gets out of the bathroom.
The moment she pushed the door open, she saw Andrea Anderson who seemed to be on the phone with a serious expression.
At that moment, Andrea looked like a serious business man.
Ariel had nothing to say to him so she decided to go around him and go downstairs, but when she walked past Andrea, he pulled her arm directly.
“We need to be at the company now”. Ariel was taken aback: “it is too early to go to the company, it’s not time for work yet! I want to have breakfast with the old madam before I leave for the office”
“You have to follow me to the company right now.”
“Why”
“Andrea looked at her with a dark face. Because of you, some shareholders are in the company making trouble this morning. I was initially against you coming to the Anderson company to work because I know you will do nothing but add a lot of trouble to our company. But that wheelchair user gave you his position and father felt it was okay.”
Ariel was displeased when she heard what Andrea had just said.

Andrea met her gaze after a few seconds, he put his cell phone in his pocket. “I’m not blaming you, I just want to take you to the office since we are going the same way.”
Ariel was speechless. Before she could say a word. She was held and taken away by Andrea.
When old Madam Anderson saw them leave hand in hand, she looked at Rex, who looked unbothered.
“Rex, your wife and Andr…”
“it is possible that something happened at the company and my wife can not wait for me to drop her off”
Rex continued his breakfast. “Grandma, you don’t have to worry about the company. Now that my wife is there, everything will be fine. You can rest assured and also, the relationship between my wife and I is nothing to worry about. Peradventure, we will soon give you a great-grandchild.”
The old madam Anderson wasn’t dumb as to not know what was going on, she could probably guess.
“We can’t blame the shareholders for not being happy with the change in administration. A company changing their vice president overnight is a big deal, anyone who knows about business will ask questions.”

The old madam Anderson took a glance at Rex,
“it is time for you to tell me why you recommended Ariel as the vice president? You might be able to fool your uncle, on the reason that she is your wife, or fool others, but you can’t fool me.”
“Rex smiled, and looked at his grandmother, “it’s not what you think. I just want my wife to be honored as the young mistress of the Anderson and I also want to train her abilities, since she will take over my mother’s company in the future, and I feel that, since I’m not welcome in the company I don’t want to cause more trouble for myself, I guess many people will be happy since I no longer show up in the company. You should understand this clearly.”
The old madam did understand everything so she just allowed Rex to do as he pleased.
“When do you plan on removing the mask from your face?”
“……”
“I know there’s nothing wrong with your face, so don’t think you can trick me.”

Rex Anderson had never imagined his grandmother would know there was nothing wrong with his face.

Andrea Ann nodded slightly and strode towards the conference room.

When they reached the conference room, Andrea pushed open the door and all the shareholders had their unfriendly gaze at Ariel.
“Where is President Anderson? He has to say something.”
“Andrea Anderson raised up his hand , “you should all sit first” and I will give each and everyone of you a satisfactory answer concerning the issue at hand. After all, everyone is after the good of the company. For those who question the whereabouts of the president, the thing is that President Anderson has been on a business trip for some days now. ”

Ariel also took her seat in the vice president chair and swept her eyes over the not-looking-friendly shareholders as she memorized their faces.

“We call this meeting concerning the matter of the Anderson family changing the vice president overnight . Andrea nodded and looked at Ariel who was sitting beside him.
Ariel didn’t expect Andrea would turn the conversation to her without giving any comment.
