Ariel scoffed and rolled her eyes at Pius as she reached out to take the food box, and with smiles on her face she spread the dishes on the table. Without wasting much time, she finished her food and buried her head back into reading the documents.
As night fell, almost the entire Anderson company employees got off work while Ariel was still looking at the documents. If it wasn’t for Rex’s call saying she should clock out, Ariel would probably have looked up. Stretching her waist, Ariel tidied up her table and was about to leave.
Andrea stood in the hallway and chatting with one of the employees, seeing Ariel. Andrea dismissed the female worker and walked towards her with long strides.
“Ariel, you haven’t gotten off work?”
“I have just finished reading most of the documents and was about to leave”
“Grandma will be very pleased to see you so dedicated, Andrea laughed. It is my cousin not coming to pick you up, I guess his legs are uncomfortable. I can send you back”.
Ariel shook her head and refused without being rude. I’m going to get some things at the supermarket. “Thank you Andrea”
“Alright, then see you at home.”
She turned around and left. Andrea looked at her back with a smile and raised his eyebrows.
“Woman, you are driving me nuts” his mind kept going back to Ariel as he stood there , his eyes fixed on her back, his gaze was filled with an unmistakable look of admiration.
When Ariel got to the Anderson floor, the first thing she saw was not the taxi she booked but, Rex Anderson!
“You, why are you here?”
