Fidelis Anderson is the planner and Timothy Ann is his accomplice. He collected a large sum of money to keep his mouth shut. The man was not surprised at the mention of Fidelis Anderson, but Timothy Ann’s name was a surprise for him.
“Then why did you marry his daughter?”
“Watching Fidelis Anderson and his children with Timothy Ann bite each other and end up getting hurt beyond healing, would that not give you the pleasure of taking revenge on this murder? And as for my wife, the woman that saved me then was her mother. I know how to deal with her matters.”
The man nodded, reached out and poured red wine into his glass. “As long as it makes you happy! You must have endured a lot of humiliation from these people. Fidelis only has one hurdle and that is to get rid of you. I must commend you for being able to stand in their midst after knowing all this and still be able to endure their entire fake smile.”
“I don’t know how grandma will react to it if it turns out to be a big matter, but that man and his accomplice… not a single one of them can escape.
Including my wife Ariel, she will pay since she has Timothy Ann’s blood flowing through her veins.”
“ummm” the man grunted in reply.
Just as Pius was enjoying his time in the villa, reminiscing about the time he spent together with his new girlfriend, Rex sent him a text “Time to go back to the villa, come and give me a ride back to the hospital, get me the change of clothes and ask them to prepare the car over there.”
Pius sighed, the devil himself. I thought I would have enough time to enjoy this sight, after being told several times to scram, now he’s ordering me to come and be his chauffer and ask them to prepare the car at the hospital. Humph! What’s the use of complaining? He’s the boss after all. Pius rose to his feet and glanced at his watch. It’s really time to send him back home. The least they can do is arouse the suspicion of their opponent more.
Rex didn’t arrive at the Anderson Manor until after dinner. The moment he slid his wheelchair out of the car his expression changed drastically. Compared to the domineering CEO some hours ago, he was now like a defeated balloon.
“Young master, the old madam said she would have loved to wait for you to come back, but what can she do? She’s no longer getting younger and since old age is catching up with her, she is going to sleep early. Rest well Young master”, Kate delivered the old Madam Anderson message before greeting Rex goodnight.
Ariel Ann had already had her shower; she sat on the chair to read some documents . Before she could pick up the document again, Rex slid in his wheelchair.
“Where are you coming from” Ariel dropped the book and asked.
“I went out to meet some of my friends”
“What friends? Ariel raised her eyebrows. “Female”.
Rex suddenly stopped taking off his suit and looked at her, when. When did the person I meet with become your business? Could it be that you are jealous?”
“humph, I’m not that free. It’s just that, now that we are in the Anderson manor, I hope you can take care of yourself and don’t let grandma scold me. I have read the information you gave me about the Anderson Company and I can’t help but be nervous.
“OK” Rex smiled, walked to the wardrobe and put his coat inside.
“You still haven’t told me who the friend you went to visit was a female.” Rex couldn’t help but smile, who said she was too busy to think about who he was meeting with. Women will say things they don’t mean. It’s so hard to understand those gender.

“Aishhhsh, a man? I thought there would be some gossip about your external affairs! What’s the point of going on a date with a man!” Ariel cringed at what she had just said and continued to pick up the information.
Rex raised his eyebrows. “This is my first time seeing a wife expecting her husband to have an affair. So all this is just to know if I have an affair. Foolish girl”
“You and I are not like normal husband and wife, so I’m not going to blame you for going out. It’s a free world.”
She stood up to pour herself a glass of water. However, when she passed by Rex’s part of the wardrobe , the scent of mint came from there. She frowned and her gaze landed on Rex. Is the man really Rex?
“Why are you looking at me in shock. Did you see a ghost here?” Rex raised his eyebrows in surprise “or is it that you can not get enough of my handsome face?”
“No, I was thinking of something else. handsome face, my foot”
Rex said coyly “Honey, your husband is going to take a shower”. After he finished his sentence, he added, ” Don’t peek!”
Ariel scoffed at the man acting shamelessly “who wants to peek at you, shameless old man.”
She stared at the man until he walked into the bathroom, and couldn’t help but purse her lips…..
The man didn’t stay long in the shower, he came out wearing a silk pajamas.
Drops of water dripped onto his abs, making him appear exceptionally sexy, in addition to his silk pajamas and his short hair that was yet to be dried, that image where can it been seen. Yeah, it can be seen on the cover of a magazine. It was a demonic charm that belonged to men!
Ariel Ann turned red staring at Rex and she quickly averted her gaze. “When can we go back to Flower Garden villa?”
“how would I know when the renovation will finish?” Rex continued, wiping his wet hair, his handsome face had a slight blush from the bath, “it might take months, years, or when you get pregnant because I wouldn’t want my child in a toxic environment.”
“Pregnant?!” Ariel exclaimed and she hurriedly lowered her voice, afraid that others would hear her. “Me getting pregnant means we will be entangled for a long time. Besides, how could I possibly be pregnant? We have only done it twice.”
“Is there something wrong with your body, tell me. Let me take you to the doctor”
“How could I have a disease when it was obvious that the person with a disease here is you!
Rex stopped drying his hair and shifted his gaze, “if I am not being careful, you would have gotten pregnant by now.”
“Of course I… Ariel realized something was wrong so she trailed off, “Even if I’m pregnant now, it can’t be yours!”
“I know it will be for the man you gave yourself to two days before our wedding because I have been careful enough not to get you pregnant. So why are you not pregnant for the man now? I have heard that most people get pregnant the first time they have sex, or is there is something wrong with the person’s body.”
Rex wouldn’t stop talking about that night, Ariel quickly raised her hand to cover his mouth. “Whether there’s something wrong with his body is none of your business.”
“When the time comes, you will have no other choice but to carry my child and give birth to them. Just wait and see”
Ariel blackout is he serious about her carrying his child? It must be a joke.
Rex yawned, lifted the quilt and moved to the corner of the bed and said, “Business advice, be sure to know your opponent’s strengths and weaknesses and don’t easily threaten others if you are not sure to be a threat to them, if you can’t restrain them and, instead, anger them it will not be beneficial for you”
“……”
“umm, you still have a lot to learn tomorrow when you go to the company to work. Be careful of the people around you. And if you have any problem, call me right away” and with that the man turned off the light.
After a few minutes in the pitch-black room, Ariel suddenly breaks the silence. “Devil, you handed over the position of the vice president so easily, are you not scared of me messing it up?”
It was clear that Rex Anderson was nothing like the rumour in the outside world. He was calculative in his thoughts and also thought through his words, yet he made such an absurd decision.
“I’m the only Anderson left apart from grandma. What else is there for me to be afraid of?”
“…..” she looked at him confused.
“What do you mean you are the only Anderson left?”
“My parents died a long time ago, and Fidelis Anderson has made everyone believe that I am only addressed as a young master of the Anderson. Do you really think I’m interested in the company? I may have 50% shares, but that doesn’t mean I’m interested.”
“I understand your feelings, there are times I wish my father might as well die instead of my mother. That way I can comfort myself with the thought that if he’s alive he will be a good father.”
Just as she finished speaking about her father, the phone on the bedside drawer beeped.
It was a text message from the almighty Timothy Ann “Did you forget that your mother’s ashes are still in the Ann. I did not only agree to keep them just for you to marry into the Anderson family, get Rex to invest ten million in the Ann” in the pitch black room they couldn’t see each other complicated expression. However, Rex looked in Ariel’s’ direction for a long time but the latter did not want to look at him. She turned towards the sofa and lay down. “I will sleep here tonight”, she finished saying that. She lay on the sofa and slept.
