Pius sent Ariel to her bedroom and locked the door as per Rex’s instructions.
“Young madam, what have you done? Don’t take his kindness for granted”, Pius added, while closing the door.
“Devil Anderson, open the door and let me out! I know you can hear me, let me out.” Ariel desperately slams the door.
“Don’t think I don’t know my legal, you are not allow to lock me up. I’m not your prisoner”
“You are grounded! You think about what you have done in your room and I will let you out when you realize where you went wrong” Rex Anderson’s voice came from the outside door.
“Rex Anderson, you can not do this to me! I have freedom of movement. Open the door and let me out.”
Ariel yelled more but only heard the sound of a wheelchair leaving. It seems Rex Anderson is really angry with Ariel.
She kicked the door with all her strength but unfortunately, her bare foot bumped on it painfully.
She was locked up in the room for a day and a night without food or water. Late in the night, Rex Anderson slid his wheelchair into the room and slowly unbuttoned his shirt, then quickly took it off, revealing his strong chest.
Ariel Ann unconsciously looked away. “Mr Anderson, you are not allowed to be here since I’m grounded.”
“If you want to see the Ann business go bankrupt tomorrow, then your mother’s soul will be angry with you. Just send me out of the room. Only after Ariel left did Rex Anderson leave the bathroom. At this moment, Ariel Ann had turned off the lights and was lying down in the corner of the bed.
It was obvious that she was conflicted. She didn’t want her mother’s hard work to go to waste and now she had to finally let go of Damien and she also didn’t want to have more physical contact with Rex Anderson, as she had yet to know the man that night. Seeing her conflicted state, Rex Anderson lifted the quilt and got into bed.
“Ariel Ann, do you want to be like this for a man who wants nothing to do with you, you love him that much?”

I could have pushed you away but my legs have been inconvenient these days, so you intentionally threw yourself into my arms.”
“What a joke. Why would I throw myself into your arms? When I can easily find a man who will not complain that his legs are uncomfortable, what’s the use of me seducing you?”
Rex waved his hands in front of Ariel, “My fingers are not hurting.”
