Axel sighed as he took a seat in the dining room, he stared at the meal and suddenly lost his appetite. It felt lonely to eat alone.
He turned to the maid standing next to the table and she bowed at him.
“Go and get my… ” He trailed off and paused when he recalled the divorce papers.
“Go and get Lily.” He ordered.
“She is not in her room sir.” The maid replied and Axel raised his brows.
“What?”
“A maid went up to give her dinner earlier but she wasn’t there.” She said and Axel’s heart skipped a beat and he stood up immediately.
He rushed out of the dining room and rushed up the stairs, he entered her room and he looked around.
He rushed to her closet and saw there were still a lot of dresses there but a few were missing.
He hurriedly brought out his phone to check where her location was. There was a tracker in the necklace he gave to her.
He realised the tracker was indicating that she was in the room, he looked around the room and noticed the necklace on her table.
He slowly walked to it and picked it up, he picked up the ring too, and exhaled heavily.
He got so mad and he stormed out of her room.
Minutes later, Max and Nora were in the living room.
He had called them to inform them that Lily was missing, and he had also informed the cops too. Every cop in the city was looking for her.
“I just think you should calm down, dude.” Max said as Axel paced the room and tried her number for the umpteenth time.
“Yeah, Max is right. Take a chill pill.” Nora said and Axel ignored them.
The door opened and one of his men walked in.
“What do you have for me?” He asked and the man bowed a little.
“We can’t find her sir.” He said and Axel moved closer to him angrily.
“The next time you walk in here, you better get in here with her. I don’t care if you do it by any means, get every airport locked down, every subway station, every means of transportation. Find her!” Axel ordered and the guard bowed immediately and rushed out of the house.
“Come on, you are overreacting man. Isn’t this for the best?” Nora asked and he turned to her.
“She is right, man. She has signed the divorce papers anyway, she was also supposed to leave in a week, what difference does this make?” Max asked and Axel ran his hands through his hair.
“I know, I fucking know but Lily is naive. She can’t survive alone, I was going to get her an apartment and make sure she was comfortable, I was still going to be in contact with her, I don’t want her to leave!” He said and Nora rolled her eyes.
“I don’t care. I hope we never find her.” Nora shrugged and walked out of the house before Axel could yell at her.
Axel sighed and took a seat on the couch, he ran his hands through his hair and exhaled heavily.
“Where the hell are you Lily?”

MONTHS LATER
Malia smiled as she stared at herself in the mirror, she placed her hand on her dress and smiled widely.
It was finally happening, the life she dreamt of was finally coming to reality. She was getting married to the man she had always wanted to be with.
The door to her room opened and her mother walked in with a bright smile.
“Mum.” Malia called with a smile and her mother hugged her happily.
“I am so proud of you.” Her mother said as she pulled away from the hug.
She held her hands and smiled widely.
“Finally, you will be married to the best man in the city. You would become the wife of a billionaire, today, you will become a Blackwell.”
