Axel sat in his car as he waited for the right time to walk into the building across the street. According to the description Nora gave him, that would definitely be where Lily was.
He had a lot of things planned out and he just hoped it would work out. It was time he brought Lily back home.
According to Max, a cop is working with them. They pay him and he helps them make the transporting of the girls a lot easier.
Axel will be claiming to be the cop and he would have a conversation with them to get what he wanted.
“It’s time, Axel.” Max said and Axel tucked his gun in his pants properly and then walked out of his car.
“Just go with the plan dude, everything will be fun.” Max assured. He was communicating with him through the earpiece in his ear.
“Yeah, I know.” Axel replied and walked into the building. Just like Nora had described, the inner part of the building looked abandoned.
He walked down the little passage and met two men seated by a table, playing a game. One of them stood up and walked to Axel.
“Good morning:” Axel greeted.
“Who are you and what are you doing here?” The man who stood up to Axel asked.
“I am here to see your Boss.”
“No Boss.” The Albanian man replied.
Axel brought out the cop card with him and showed the man, he took it and stared at it.
“We are doing nothing wrong here.” The man said and Axel held his phone high a little.
“One button and over thirty agents would be here before you have time to scratch your balls.” Axel threatened and the man glanced at the other man seated at the table.
“Stop jerking around before I close you down for wasting my time.” He added and the men gave each other a look.
“Wait here.” The man said and took the stairs and walked away.
Axel and the man seated exchanged looks with different thoughts going through their head.
The man kept watching Axel closely.
The man who had a conversation with Axel showed up again.
“Do you have a weapon?” He asked Axel.
“You are holding it.” Axel replied, referring to the card in his hand.
The man walked ahead of Axel and he followed, they passed different steps and met different men on their way.
They finally got to a room and five men were seated around a table with different alcohols, games, and other different things on the table. They were having coffee too.
“Black one with sugar please.” He said to none of them in particular. They all stared at with glares on their faces.
Axel looked at their hands and he saw the tattoos. Just like the one Lily yelled out, a sun and a moon right under each other.
“What is it that you want?” One of the men asked Axel.
“I am here to negotiate the rates.” Axel replied.
“We already negotiated the rates with Mr. Marcon.”
“Mr. Marcon has moved to another division.” Axel replied as she started to make himself a cup of coffee.
“Nice coffee though.” Axel said and walked around the table and stared at those tattoos.
“Unless you think I am unreasonable, let me explain ourselves. We have you guys under satellite surveillance twenty four hours a day, we hear everything you say, we know everything you do too.” Axel said and took a seat.
“Do you have any idea what it costs just to change the angle of the lens on a satellite orbiting two hundred miles above the Earth? Huh?” Axel asked.
“Those costs have really gone up, our cost go up, your cost goes up too. It’s only logical.” Axel explained and they all looked at him.
“By the way, which one of you is Marco?”
“Why do you want to know?” One of the men asked and Axel gulped out of his coffee.
“I was told Marco is in charge.”
“We are all Marco.” One of them replied.
“Marco from Tropoja.” Axel said, being more specific.
“We are all from Tropoja.” Another person responded.
“Well, if that is the game you want to play, the rate just went up ten percent.” Axel said and stood up.
“You are trying to extort us because we are immigrants, we know our rights and the law.”
“I am extorting you because you are breaking the law.” Axel replied.
“Which charge do you want to be arrested for? Prostitution? Human trafficking? What exactly?” Axel asked. He stood up and walked around again.
“You come to this country, take advantage of it, and think because we are tolerant, we are weak and helpless. Your arrogance offends me.”
Axel said and scoffed. All the men did was just to stare.
“For that, the rate just went up another ten percent.”
“Now, do you guys want to get down to the real business? Or you decided I get you arrested?” Axel asked and they mumbled among themselves.
A man spoke to another in their language and they grabbed the box.
“How do you say sugar in your language?” Axel asked as he picked up a cube of sugar.
The man replied and Axel repeated what he said with a smile, they handed him the money and he took it and tucked it in his pocket.
“See you in a month.” He said and was about to leave but paused.
He brought out a piece of paper and showed it to one of them at the edge of the table.
“A friend gave this to me, it’s in Albanian. Do you mind translating it for me?” Axel asked and the guy showed everyone the paper. They all laughed and Axel watched them as they did.
The one Axel handed the paper to turned to him and smiled.
“Good luck.” He said and it rang a bell in Axel’s head. Axel stared at everyone around the table and then back at him.
“You don’t remember me.” Axel said and the man furrowed his brows.
“We spoke on the phone two days ago.” Axel said and the man exchanged confused looks with the rest of them.
“I told you I would find you.” Axel said and the man was about to pull out a gun but Axel was too fast for him. He hit the man’s head on the table and picked up the knife from the table, he stabbed the one next to him in the chest.
He hurriedly pulled out his gun and shot them all except Marco, Axel intentionally left him. He needed him alive not dead, he needed information from him.
Since they were all out cold, he started to search the room in the building. He kept seeing different types of girls but still couldn’t find Lily.
“Fuck!” Axel yelled in frustration.
He was starting to get physically exhausted, he needed to find his wife as soon as possible. He walked to the room where he was earlier, he grabbed Marco, and left the building with him.
**********
Axel paced around in a basement as he hoped his new plan would work out. He was really tired at that point.
He exhaled heavily and turned to Marco who was tied to a chair and was unconscious. Axel walked up to him and hit him, he woke up breathing heavily.
Axel picked up two long nails from the table, they had a weird looking rope at the end. The plan was to torture him and get answers from him.
“Don’t think you can get anything from me because I won’t tell you a single thing.” Marco said and Axel shrugged as he looked at the long nails.
“Yeah, I expected it.” Axel replied and without warning, he stabbed him on both legs with the nails.
Marco cried out in pain and Axel walked to a bolt on the wall.
“Ouch, that must have hurt a lot.” Axel said.
“Just a little introduction.” Axel muttered and turned the bolt, Marco was electrocuted and he cried out in pain.
Axel turned it down and he breathed heavily.
Axel walked to him and stood in front of him.
“Where is my wife?” Axel asked and the man chuckled.
“It’s funny you think I would just tell you anything. Fuck you.” Marco said and spat on Axel’s face.
“I guess we are doing it the hard way then.” Axel said and walked back to the bolt, he turned it again and Marco screamed in pain.
“How about we try this all over again.” Axel said and walked to his presence again.
“Where is my wife?” He asked and Marco chuckled.
“Fuck you.” He cursed again and spat on Axel’s face.”
He laughed out loud seeing how mad Axel looked, Axel angrily walked towards the bolt and the man’s eyes widened in shock.
“No, no… ” He trailed off as Axel turned the bolt to a very high one. He groaned in pain and Axel watched life drain out of him.
Axel stopped it and walked to him again.
“Ready to fucking talk?” Axel asked as the man breathed heavily.
“Your wife is getting auctioned tonight. Its at a place, a place called Fuck you.” He replied and Axel sighed.
The man kept testing his level of patience, Axel was about to walk to the bolt again when the man screamed the address out in fear,
“Please stop.” He pleaded and Axel placed his hand on the bolt, the man pleaded in tears and Axel ignored it and turned it on.
“Nice doing business with you.” Axel muttered and walked away leaving the man to keep getting electrocuted.
