Lily and Axel walked towards the car waiting for them as a few guards trailed behind them. Axel brought a few men alone with him, one can never be too careful.
Lily kept giggling and was restless as they walked, Axel held her hand and she turned to him with a smile.
“Stay calm, okay?” He said and she nodded excitedly, Axel shook his head at her childish attitude.
They got to the car and entered, the guards entered the other car waiting too. The chauffeur drove and Lily looked outside the window to watch the amazing view as they passed.
“Axel.” She called with a smile and turned to him, Axel raised his brow at her, giving her a questioning look.
“Everywhere is so beautiful. Where are we heading to now?” She asked.
“A hotel.” He replied and she smiled before looking out the window again. Axel used his thumb to crease her hand, he forgot he was still holding her. He wasn’t ready to let go of her and Lily wasn’t ready to let go of him too.
After a few minutes’ drive, they arrived at the hotel. They both walked out of the car and Lily looked at the hotel. It was really huge and looked amazing.
“Come on.” Axel pulled her with him and the guards trailed behind them, they all entered the elevator together while the baggage porters carried their bags through another elevator.
In a minute, they were on the eleventh floor, the last floor of the hotel. Axel got them the best room in the hotel, a suite.
The guards were about to step out with them but Axel raised his hand in the air, signifying them to stop.
He walked out of the elevator with Lily and she waved at the guards with a smile while they bowed. Axel gave her a look and she smiled at him.
He found her excitement amusing, he couldn’t explain her excitement. It felt like she hadn’t seen so many things before.
They walked down the hallway till they got to their suite. There were only two rooms on the floor, one for Axel and Lily and the other for another guest.
Axel brought out the key card as they got to the door, Lily stared at the other door, and out of curiosity, she turned to Axel to ask him about the room.
“Axel, do you know who is in the other room?” She asked as the door opened and they both walked in.
“No.” He replied simply.
“It might be… ” Axel paused as he noticed she wasn’t paying attention to him anymore but the room.
Her lips parted in shock as she looked around. She let go of his hand and walked around the room. The doorbell rang and Axel looked away from her, he opened the door and saw it was the baggage porters.
He took their bags in and Axel tipped him and shut the door.
“Axel, this place is amazing.” Lily giggled and fell on the bed. Axel ignored her and carried their bags into the closet.
His phone rang and he hurriedly picked it up seeing it was Max, he walked to the private balcony to speak with him.
Lily was still in the room, admiring everything. The room was filled with a lot of things: a large screen TV, a premium sound system, a lavishly furnished and spacious living area.
She walked into the bathroom too and smiled, it had double vanities, a separate shower, and a tub.
After she was done admiring the room, she realised Axel wasn’t in the room.
“Axel.” She called but got no response from him, as she walked around the suite in search of him, she finally found him on the private balcony. She stood at the entrance and watched his back view as he answered his call.
As she watched him, Lily also admired the amazing view of the other buildings and the mountains.
Axel ended the call and Lily was waiting for him to turn to her but he didn’t, instead, he kept staring.
Lily walked to him and stood next to him, still, he didn’t notice her which was surprising. She watched him closely and realised he was staring at a particular building that was a little far from where they were, as usual, Lily got curious again.
“What is with that building?” She asked and Axel turned to her.
“Nothing.” He replied and looked at it one last time before turning to her.
“If it is nothing, why can’t you take your eyes off it?” She asked and he moved closer to her till they were inches apart. She wasn’t intimidated by his height towering over hers. She was too curious to care.
“My eyes are off the building already.” He replied and she gulped when she finally noticed the position they were in.
“Wh… what?” She stuttered and blinked rapidly as Axel leaned closer to her. Thinking he wanted to kiss her, Lily closed her eyes and anticipated.
Axel stared at her face and lips, he resisted the urge to kiss her and pulled away. Lily opened her eyes and felt a little bit embarrassed.
“It’s still a little early.” Axel said as he looked around.
“Yes. I am hungry.” Lily muttered and pouted like a child.
“Let’s eat then.” Axel replied and pulled her into the room.
*********
AT NIGHT
Lily groaned in her sleep again and Axel looked up at her, he was seated on the couch close to the bed. He was busy working on his laptop, he had multiple emails to read and solve a lot of things.
After they had their meal hours ago, Lily fell asleep which gave him time to work.
Axel watched Lily as she rubbed her eyes like a child. He made sure she looked comfortable again before he continued with what he was doing.
Minutes passed and he heard her whining like a child, he looked up at her again and he noticed she was restless but she was still asleep. She kept turning like she wasn’t comfortable.
Axel wanted to ignore her but he couldn’t, so he stood up and walked to the bed.
He slowly sat on the bed and watched her, he noticed she had tears in her eyes and he wondered what was wrong.
‘Is she having a nightmare?’ He thought.
He had no idea what to do, he wasn’t ready to wake her up either. He slowly lay on the bed and pulled her to himself, he placed her head on his chest and wrapped his arms around her.
That stopped her from moving around and she let out a heavy sigh, Axel inhaled her fragrance and he fought the urge to run his hands on her body, he sighed and closed his eyes. In minutes, he also fell asleep.
*******
Lily moved in her sleep as she tried to avoid whatever was poking her, she wasn’t so comfortable.
She tried to turn but realised she couldn’t, it felt like something was holding her firmly.
She slowly opened her eyes to see an arm around her, she realised Axel was holding her, they were in a spooning position.
She realised what was poking her and heat rushed up to her cheeks. It wasn’t bothering her anymore since she knew what it was.
She moved her hips a little and let out a giggle as she felt it move. She repeated the same action again and the same thing happened.
Enjoying what she was doing and what was happening, she wanted to do it again.
“If you keep doing that, you might not be able to walk today.” Axel said huskily and she felt the hairs on her body erected as his voice sent shivers down her spine.
“What do you mean?” She asked. She had no idea what he meant.
“I can show you, it is better than explaining.” He replied and she turned to him, she realised his eyes were still closed and her eyes moved to his lips.
“Show me.” She replied. She was curious.
Axel didn’t give her a response, his eyes were still closed.
“Axel.” She called and still got no response from him.
“Axel, I want you to show me.” She said,
“Pick a safe word.” He ordered and Lily understood what he meant. It was part of the things she read in the book.
“Red, why?” She asked and he opened his eyes.
“Because you will need it.”
