Amara POV

I was standing next to the buggy listening to Sadie clap her little hands together. As Dimitri punches Daniel hard in the face causing blood to splatter on the white marble floor.
I think this would be the right time to take Sadie and leave. The fist fight has turned into a blood bath and I don’t see them stopping any time soon.
Grabbing the buggy I began to push it down the aisle. Only to get blocked by Nate and James.
” Well, aren’t you just as beautiful as always Amara.” Nate says with a smile on his face.
This isn’t good.
I have Sadie in the buggy and these two are most likely armed with guns. I can’t put Sadie in any danger. I don’t want her to get hurt.
” This must be little Sadie.” James says as he steps closer towards me and Sadie.
How does he know her name?
I never told her name to anyone.
” How do you know her name?” I asked him.
James smirk widens into a creepy smile. ” A certain coworker you use to work with told us.”
Coworker?
How would they know who I worked with? Only Dimitri should have that information.
I grip the handle bar on the buggy and start to take a step back. Only for James to reach his hand out and grab a hold of the buggy.
” Let go!” I tell him sternly.
” You aren’t going anywhere.” Nate tells me as he grabs the other side of the buggy.
I can’t ram them with the buggy and if I try to take Sadie out of it. They might rip the buggy from me before I have a chance to undo the buckle that is resting across her lap.
Where is Liam and Lucia when you need them?
” What do you want?” I ask them.
” For you to come with us.” Nate tells me.
There is no way in hell that I am going anywhere with them.
Looking around I spot Liam in the aisle across from me. I don’t even have to call out his name. The second his sees me with two men standing in front of me. He starts walking towards me at a fast pace and reaches me in just a few seconds.
” Well, if it isn’t dumb and dumber? Where is dumbest at?” Liam asked as I motion my hand behind me towards Dimitri and Daniel still throwing punches at each other.
From the sound of everything behind me. It kinda sounds like Dimitri is on the winning side of things.
” Very funny Liam. Where’s the other lap dog at?” Nate spits out at him in a cocky tone.
” This lap dog can chew you up and spit you out.” Lucia says as he walks up with a open bag of cookies. He pops a few into his mouth before grabbing Nate hand with his free hand and adding a bit of pressure to Nate wrist.
Nate whines as he is forces to let go of the buggy. Once he does Lucia punches him in the face hard with the bag of cookies still in his left hand.
Nate hits the floor with a loud thud. While Liam punches James in the face, and I take that opportunity to ram James in the crotch with the buggy.
James falls to the ground with a loud groan as he rolls around holding his hands between his legs.
Sadie lets out a giggle as she claps her hands and cheers happily.
I turn around to see Daniel on the ground with Dimitri standing over him. He kicks Daniel over and over in the stomach.
” Dimitri! I think he has had enough!” I snap at him.
I really want to leave now before anyone else shows up to cause more trouble.
I watch as Dimitri gives Daniel one last hard kick in the stomach area before walking over to me.
” Where are all the boys at?” Dimitri questions Liam and Lucia.
” I left them with Lucia.” Liam tells Dimitri.
I let out a frustrated sigh, ” For crying out loud I want to leave now!” I yell at them. ” You two go find the kids.” I say angrily pointing my index finger at Liam and Lucia. ” And you stop fucking around and help me check out our stuff so we can leave! Before I punch you in the face!” I snap at Dimitri.
The three of them are just staring at me with grins on all their faces.
” Aww! You look adorable when you are mad.” Liam says with a chuckle.
I let out a frustrated scream as I grab the first thing I saw from the buggy and throw it at Liam’s head.
Liam dodges it and I watch in horror as the sippy cup I threw go hurrling towards an old lady with a walking crane.
It hits her in the face and she falls face first into the floor.
Oh no!!
I hit an old lady with a sippy up.
Hearing laughter I turn my head to see Lucia hunched over holding his hands on his stomach as he laughs.
I smack him outside the head as I quickly run over to the old lady.
” I am so sorry!” I say as I help her stand.
” It’s okay dear.” She tells me in a low tone.
I look her over and she doesn’t have a scratch just a little red mark on her forehead from where the sippy cup bounced off her head.
” Here this for the trouble.” Dimitri says handing the old woman a bunch of crash.
I didn’t know he followed me.
I watch the old woman take the money, and Dimitri grabs me by the upper arm and walks me towards the exit.
” Dimitri! Let go! I have to get Sadie and I wasn’t done apologizing to that old woman!” I snap at him.
” I don’t give a shit! I have to get you back home and check on something at the warehouse.” Dimitri says as he drags me towards the black SUV.
Something must be going on for him to suddenly be in a hurry to leave.
As I climb inside and get seated. Lucia hands me Sadie before running back into Walmart.
” Dimitri what is happening?” I ask as I gently place Sadie into her carseat and start buckling her in.
” Nothing to worry about.” Dimitri says as he shuts the door and walks over to a gaurds.
He exchanges some words with the gaurds before heading back into Walmart. I watch as the guards gets into the driver seat and buckles up before locking the doors.
” Is something wrong?” I asked the gaurd as I finish buckling Sadie in.
He looks at me through the review mirror, ” No, my lady. It’s nothing to worry about.” He tells me with a fake smile.
He is full of shit.
I can see the fear in his eyes.
I don’t know if it is because something big is happening, or if Dimitri threatened the guy. Either way he sucks at lying.
