Dimitri POV

Walking down stairs I follow the sound of Sadie squeals and giggles until I enter the living room. Walking in I see Sadie sitting in my father’s lap just having the time of her life swinging a toy monkey around by its arm. While my father and Liam were watching her with Lucia holding his phone up.
I walk behind Lucia and stare at his phone to see he is recording the whole thing.
” What are doing?” I ask him.
Lucia jumps and his phone goes fumbling into the floor. ” I am making a video because she isn’t going to stay tiny forever.” He says picking up his phone.
” Dimitri, I should mention that Lucia and Liam little brothers will be joining you on the trip to the store. They need school supplies and new clothes.” Rex tells me as he gently sets Sadie in the floor.
I guess Liam could see the look on my face because he speaks up next. ” I will be coming with you. Especially since some of our cousins are also coming.” Liam adds
” Exactly how many kids are coming?!” I asked them.
Our families isn’t small and I get dad wants us to all spend time together. While also teaching the newer generation discipline. Liam and Lucia both have one little brother.
They were in fourth grade when Amara had met them. Now they are both teenagers and causing twice as much trouble in school than me, Lucia, and Liam combined.
” Well, counting Liam and Lucia little brothers a total of ten kids.” Rex says smiling at Sadie and gently poking her tummy.
Sadie giggles and tried to catch Rex’s hands with her small tiny ones.
I let out a loud sigh, ” Fine, but I am leaving once Amara comes downstairs. So, all the kids better be ready.” I say taking a seat next to Lucia on the couch.
” I will go round them all up.” Liam says getting to his feet and leaving the room.
Thirty minutes later Amara comes walking into the living room. Her hair pulled up into a messy bun with her gray purse and Sadie daiper bag hanging on her right shoulder.
” She has a diaper bag down here already.” I tell her and point to the diaper bag next to my father’s chair.
” Right, I completely forgot about that bag. I was wondering were it went.” Amara says walking over and picking up the other diaper bag. She goes through it and takes a few things out placing them into the diaper bag that lays against her waist.
Hearing the sound of kids talking I watch as Liam walks the living room with all the kids.
Amara smiles seeing Xander and Ace. ” Aw! You two have gotten so big!” She says pulling them into a hug.
” I didn’t miss.” Ace says making a face.
Xander on the other hand seemed to enjoy it a little too much. Since he was pressing his face deeper into Amara chest and covering up what he was doing by hugging her back.
” Speak for yourself.” Xander says back.
I reach out and pull Xander away from Amara by the collar of his shirt causing him to let out a small yelp.
Amara laughs, ” Come on Dimitri he is just a kid.” She says with a smile.
” Yeah! I am just a kid.” Xander says in the most innocent voice he can manage.
” Fine!” I says through gritted teeth.
I watch as Amara turns around to get Sadie from my father. Which gives me the perfect opportunity to smack Xander upside the head.
” Ouch!” He says rubbing the back of his head and glaring over at me.
” No more chest groping. Do it again and I won’t care if you are my little cousin. I will cut your hands off and feed it to the dogs.” I threaten him.
” Okay!” Xander laughs and holds his hands up in surrendered.
” We can go now.” Amara says catching my attention. I look over to see Amara holding a baby carrier with Sadie already buckled inside playing with the toy monkey dad give her.
I walk over and take the carrier from Amara. She gives me a weird look, ” What? You are already carrying the diaper bag. So I am carrying Sadie.” I tell her.
” Ya!” Sadie yells out with a giggle.
” See she fine with it.” I tell Amara.
” She a baby. She just happy to have the attention.” She shoots back at me.
Hearing the boys behind me chuckle I turn around and give them a glare causing them to shut up.
” Let’s go before it gets late.” Amara adds heading towards the door.
Something tells me I will have a headache by the end of this family outing. Mainly because I have to bring ten annoying teenagers along with us.

The car ride to the store wasn’t bad. I had Amara, Liam, Xander, Ace, and Sadie in the SUV with me. While all my other cousins rode in two separate SUV with Lucia riding in one of them.
Which brings me to now with four teenagers fighting in the middle of an aisle. While the other four are cheering them on with everyone staring at us.
Amara giggles watching Sadie cheer and clap from the seat on the buggy. ” Could you not encourage her.” I tell Amara.
” She doesn’t even know what is happening. She just sees and hears the other boys cheering. So, she joined in. Besides they aren’t breaking anything. Just let them get it out of there system.” Amara tells me.
I agree with letting them fight out whatever disagree they might have, but this is a Walmart for crying out loud. We aren’t hillbillies or rednecks.
” Do all those kids belong to you?” A older lady says in a snobby tone.
I knew this was going to happen at some point.
I smile at the old lady and with a straight face I say, ” No, I work for a condom factory. These are all customer complaints.”
The old lady gasps, ” I have never!” She says quickly walking away.
Feeling a hard nudge in my ribs I look at Amara who was smiling. ” That wasn’t necessarily.” She says laughter in her voice.
” Yeah, well she needs to mind her business.” I start pushing the buggy forward and walk past the boys rolling around punching each other in the floor.
” Do something about them.” I whisper to Lucia as I walk past him.
As I go down another aisle looking for cookies I hear a gunshot echo throughout the building.
I let out a loud sigh as I hear people scream and a few running away.
A second later Lucia and Liam come walking up with all the boys walking behind him. I look at Luica, ” Why did you fire your gun?” I question him.
” You wanted me to break up the fight. I did.” Lucia tells me in a duh tone.
” I didn’t say use your gun.” I snap at him as I can hear police sirens outside.
Fucking great!
” All of you do your fucking school shopping before I shoot all of you in the fucking leg!” I snap at all the boys and stare at Liam and Lucia. ” You two fucking watch them!” I say gesturing towards all the boys.
Hearing Sadie babble I look down to see her babbling angrily and pointing her little finger at them.
” I don’t need your help.” I tell Sadie.
She looks up at me with those cute blue eyes and smiles at me. I instantly feel all the anger I had slowly wash away.
