After breakfast this morning, Marco asked me to get dressed. He must have planned another surprise for me, I got dressed as instructed.
I have continuously asked him were we are going, but he refused to spill. I guess I should be prepared to be blown away, Marco surprises are always extra.
So, here we are, driving to what seem to be our destination-Or not. We arrived at the coast, it was barely a ten minute drive from the resort.
I alighted the car, the cool breeze from the ocean hitting me, I breathe in the freshness of the ocean.
“Come here, baby.” Marco stretch out his hand for me to take, I hugged his arm.
We went straight to the harbor, a man who looked to be in his late forties, with fiery red hair and blue eyes is waiting for us.
“Good afternoon, sir, ma.” The man greets Marco and me.
“Hello.” I wave back at him with a small smile.
“Simon.” Marco hummed in response.
Simon guided us to a bow rider, guess we will be cruising. Marco introduced the man as the caretaker.
Caretaker of what?
Wrong question, he probably own a house or property in the Bahamas too.
Aaron took my hand and helped me get inside the bow rider.
The sun was brightly up by the time the bow rider departed from the harbor. Marco skillfully controlled the helm of the bow rider.
“Where are we going to?” I asked over the heavy noise of the engine and the splashing of the water.
“Over there.” he replied, then
pointed at something in the
distance.
It was a bit difficult see anything clearly since we are still a good distance away from whatever he was showing. But as we got closer, I squinted my eyes until I notice we were near the coast of a smaller island. I sighed and looked over at Marco.
Another extravagant property. I shook my head, I should be used to this lavish lifestyle by now, but thrown of guard each time Marco acquire something like this.
“This is your private island,” I said simply, obviously it has to be his. This was crazy.
Marco glanced at me, “Our private island.” He smiled, emphasizing on our.
And yes, he smiled, a little. It is rare to see Marco smile, but each time he does crack a smile it is absolutely breathtaking.
The sunlight casting a glow on his face, giving me a perfect picture of his side view. Yeah, I love his smile, but I love the man more.
We arrived at the island Marco help me down from the bow rider, from a distance the island looked smaller. The house, or rather Villa do too.
Viewing the island from afar, I had expected a little wood cottage or a small cozy house. Now thinking about it, nothing about the properties the Alfonso owns is less than extravagant.
The Villa stood tall and proud in the middle of the island.
Simon arrived at another boat with our luggage, guess we’ll be staying here for some time then.
The door of the Villa opened, a woman in her early forties emerged from the house smiling.
“Good afternoon sir, ma’am.” She greeted. I returned her greetings with a smile.
“Linda.” Marco repeated the same greeting to the woman. “She is Simon’s wife, they both work and live her.” Marco introduced her.
“Welcome ma’am.” She welcomed me, Marco must have informed them of my arrival, as his wife. She held me in high regard, the respect is clear in her eyes.
“Thank you.” I offered a small smile.
“Please come in.” Linda guided us inside.
I excuse myself to go change to a more suitable cloth, as Marco was attending to a phone call. I picked up a breezy, print maxi dress and went inside the bathroom to change.
When I came out of the bathroom, Marco is no longer in the room. I head down searching for him, and found him standing near the foyer still on call.
He has changed into a black shorts and a brown shirt. He was mesmerizing and yummy in those outfit, he still manages to steal my breath away each time I look at him.
As if he could feel my stare, he turned to me. His face that once lack any form of expression until now breaks into one of amusement.
He smirked down at me, knowing I was ogling at him, shamelessly and confidently. He’s my man and I have every right to watch him as long as I wish for.
“Come here.” He mouthed to me, stretching his hand out for me to take which I took happily.
He dropped a kiss on my forehead, then started leading us away from the Villa to the seaside. Linda must have prepared this for us, a blanket spread on the beach sand, picnic basket with lots of fruits and soft drinks, and some light snacks. A beach umbrella was set up to shield us from the harsh sunlight.
“Definitely love this.” I rushed over.
