POV: Raphael
“I know what I said, and he’s leaving right now!” Nathan responded to her, turning to glare at me.
“I’m glad you know I would be searching for you, Cindy. I won’t why you look so scared,” I let out calmly, smiling down at her.
“Do not piss me off, Raphael!
Get the fuck out of my house, right now, I don’t want to hurt you and I will not be held responsible for my actions if you do not leave now. This is my house and I want you to leave, right now!
Leave now before I break your legs and hands and send you back to Gramps in a body bag!” He warned, his gaze fixed on mine. I scoffed at his threat and simply ignored him. I guess it’s high time he finds out that I am too tough for him to deal with.
“You don’t scare me, Nate, I am not afraid of you. I came over to speak with Cindy and I won’t leave until I do.” I responded firmly, looking straight up and ignoring his stern gaze.
“Where are they, Cindy?” I asked her sternly, smirking evilly at her.
“Tell me where I can find them, and I’ll get out of your way and let you two screw your brains out.” I added with a scoff, laughing at her stupidity for thinking that Nathan was in love with her. You see, with my brother, everything is a business, he never truly commits to any girl.
He is only serious in a relationship if he wants something from the girl. If he has nothing to gain from her, he will dump her like a piece of garbage. He is only here because he wants something from her. I guess that he wants the company he was promised by Cindy. He has no idea that they have nothing anymore, I guess Cindy must have left out that part while they were busy making out and having fun.
“You know you could get in trouble for their mistakes, Cindy. I’m not just looking out for my woman, I’m looking out for you and for Claire as well. You could get hurt when the truth finally comes to light, you could to jail with your entire family for tampering with evidence and obstructing justice. Tell me where I can find them, and I’ll get out of your way and let you two get on with whatever it is that you were doing before I got here.” I told her, smiling at her to ease her worries.
If Nathan was not here, I would have told her that I knew why he was with her, would have threatened her with exposure and she will have no choice but to give in and tell me what I want to know. But I couldn’t tell her that yet because I still feel I can convince her I want to give her a chance to come clean on her own, without any threats and torture.
But Cindy already knows why I am looking for her, I can see it in her eyes that she knows that her parents are in trouble with the cops and she knows she cannot reveal their location. She is looking at Nathan sternly, urging him to react on her behalf. She is trying too hard to avoid my eyes, trying hard to ignore my presence.
When she realized that I was not going to leave without getting my answers, she decided to manipulate my brother to do her dirty work for her. So she cries out to Nathan and asks him to send me away, claiming that was here to hurt her. She glared at me fiercely and then she turned and screamed at Nathan,
“Throw him out, Nate! Kick his ass and throw him out of here!
He will hurt me, Nate, he’s here to hurt me. He hates me because of my sister, he was sent here by Victoria, she just like having her way always. They want to hurt my parents, and take everything from us.” She cried out to him, making him groan in anger as he faced me squarely.
” That’s it, Ralph!
Get out!” he told me firmly, standing in front of me and glaring dangerously at me. I know he thinks I’m scared, but I ignored him and focused on Cindy, asking her once more about her mom and dad,
“Where are they Cindy?
I’m giving you the last chance to come clean because I don’t want to see you hurt, Cindy. They may be your parents, but it’s their decision to be dubious and not yours. Let them face their warrant alone, stay the fuck out of it!” I told her sternly, but she scoffed in disgust and glared a me fiercely, turning to scream at Nathan again to urge him to throw me out.
“Throw him out, Nate, kick his ass, and throw him out of here before he gets away with his plans to hurt me!” she screamed at him, giving him the motivation he needs to hurt me. Of course, Nathan listened to her and tried to force me out,
“I won’t warn you again, get out, right now!” he told me sternly. But I kept ignoring him because I didn’t want to fight him. I don’t want to be forced to get into a fight with him because I don’t want my cousin to find out that I am not sick and weak like they all thought I was.
Nathan knows me to be weak and dumb, he thought he could take me out easily. He tried once more to force me out, but I still ignored him and focused on Cindy, hoping she would take the hint. Obviously, Nathan saw this as an opportunity to hurt me. He attacked Raphael, determined to hurt me and throw me out of his house. But I dodged his attack and pretended as if I was just lucky to escape his attack.
“Do you know that her family is broke?
Has she told you that she is only hanging around you for your money They lost everything, I don’t know how they did it, but the assets, the company, it’s all gone, Nathan!
Gone!
So whatever you think you will get from her, I want you to know that you are just wasting your time and money on this bitch!
She has nothing to offer you, she is nothing but trouble. If you ask me, I think she is still hanging around you because her family will soon be broke. She needs you for your money, idiot!” I told him sternly. He stopped his attacks and stood glaring at her, glaring dangerously at her.
“Is that true, is the company gone?” he asked her fiercely, his eyes seeming with rage.
“That’s a lie, Nathan!
Dad already promised you the company, there is no way he would sell out the company and ruin my life because he loves me. He is just having a hard time locating the original document to the company and he is trying to secure the documents so Victoria and her mom don’t get it.” She told him firmly, denying the truth just to make sure he didn’t leave her side.
“Well, that company belongs to Victoria because her mother is the original owner and she willed it to her and not your father!
I need those documents, so take me to your father immediately! ” I screamed at them, glaring from Cindy to Nathan and then right back at Cindy.
“You thought you could waltz into my house, grab her and leave huh?
Now get the fuck out before I hurt you!” Nathan yelled at me, standing right in front of me. I could feel his breath and it infuriated me to see him defending a girl that was just using him. I may have him, but I still think he deserves better than this conniving whore. When I wouldn’t leave, he tried to hit me, but I dodged him again and that made him so furious that he attacked me with fury.
I couldn’t let him win, I sure surprised him and beat him up real good. He could not believe that I had the skills to defend myself. I saw the fear and anger in his eyes when I evaded his attacks and even hit him so hard that he almost hurt himself, twice.
“Stay down, man, don’t make me hurt you!” I yelled at him, trying to get him to back down from this fight. But trust Nathan, he refused to back down. He ran towards his table, pulled out a gun, and pointed it at me, glaring dangerously at me.
“You are a dead man!
You are a fucking dead man!” I screamed in pain and anger, unlocking the safety pin of the gun he was holding. I smiled within me as I used my skills in taekwondo to defend myself this time. I ran as fast as I could, dodging his bullets and trying to get to him. I kicked the gun out of his hand and I beat him up ruthlessly before grabbing his gun and ramming the handle of the gun to the back of his head, knocking him unconscious.
