Kicking Kyle Out

Book:The CEO Contracted Wife Published:2025-2-8

POV: Victoria
“What is he doing here, Claire, why did you bring him here?” I asked her angrily, pulling her to the balcony roughly.
“Of all the rooms in this house, you decided to bring him to my room, Raphael’s room!
Are you fucking insane?!” I yelled in anger.
“Relax, Vee. We are not doing anything wrong. We just wanted to tame some cool pictures and videos for his page online. I’m celibate you know, I wouldn’t disrespect you like that.” She responded sadly, trying to guilt trip me.
“Coming into my fiancee’s room when we are both out is disrespectful on its own, let alone bringing a dumb man in here. What were you thinking, Claire, what if Raphael and I had decided to come back home together?” I asked angrily.
“Wait, he’s going to be living with us?” she asked me looking so surprised.
“It is his house, dummy!
He can choose to come and go as he pleases. Now get that dumb boyfriend of yours out of my robe and out of this house before I call the cops on him.” I told her firmly. I can’t believe that the idiot couldn’t take a cue from my reaction. He sat on the couch in my bedroom watching TV and making videos of himself lounging around in my room.
“What the hell are you waiting for?
Get in there and ask him to leave!
Or would you prefer if I kick him out myself?” I demanded. She looked at me sadly, turning to glance at him and then back at me again.
“I can’t do it!” she lets out sadly.
“You can’t do it?
What do you mean you can’t do it?
You invited him over and you can’t get him to leave, what exactly are you talking about?
Do you want me to get the guards to throw him out roughly and probably hurt him?
Get in there and kick him out, right now!” I instructed her firmly.
“I can’t do it, Vee, I can’t kick him out to the street because he has nowhere to go.” She confessed, looking pathetic. I laughed at her sorry attempt to gain sympathy from me. There is no way in hell that I would believe that Kyle is suddenly homeless. That’s not happening!
“Well, I’m so sorry for you and your homeless boyfriend. But please get him checked into a shelter for the homeless because that guy is not spending one night in this house!” I told her firmly.
“Fine!” she told me and rolled her eyes as she walked back inside to ask him to leave. It’s so ridiculous that she thinks I would live in the same house with a fucking drug dealer. I will not put all our lives at risk because of her feelings, it’s not happening.
I turned around to see if he had left and I was shocked to see them making out on the couch. Like, are you fucking kidding me?
I rushed into her bedroom, my heart pounding with anger.
“Claire, what the hell are you still doing in here?!
I told you to get him out of here!” I yelled in anger, my face turning red in anger.
“Are you testing my patience or what, are you trying to infuriate me to death?!” I screamed at her.
“What the hell is wrong with you, Vee?
You just ruined a good video!” she lets out defiantly, hissing angrily.
“You are not even married to the guy and yet you act so mean and annoying!” Kyle added, standing behind her and taking a selfie, ignoring me. I scoffed and laughed within me, it’s obvious they are both trying my patience. I picked up the touchpad and tapped on the alarm button calling the guards downstairs.
“Vee, what you doing?” Claire asks suspiciously. I scoffed and walked over to the wine bar, pouring myself a glass. I did not say one more word to her until the guards knocked on the door. I responded eagerly, asking them to come into the bedroom immediately.
“Get this fool out of here right now!” I instructed the two guards who responded to my call.
“No, Victoria. You can’t throw him out like a common criminal. Kyle is my friend, and he is not doing anything wrong. He needs a place to stay because he got into trouble at work and…” she stopped talking when I opened my mouth in shock. It’s obvious she never planned to tell me about his troubles at work.
“Troubles at work?
Troubles at work, you say?
What work are you referring to, and what exactly is the trouble he is having at work?” I asked her, my eyes filled with anger as I stared at her in disbelief. If Kyle is having trouble at work that is making him look for a place to stay, it means he has done something bad to his suppliers and now they are looking for him to probably beat him up or kill him.
I stared at Claire, but she refused to look at me anymore, she couldn’t meet my eyes. I can’t believe she would bring him here when she knows that they would look for him and fish him out from anywhere he is hiding. They will never stop until they find him and if they find him here, we would be hurt as well.
“You brought him here to hide when you know he could cause problems for all of us?
What were you thinking?” I yelled angrily, my eyes tearing up. I felt like hitting her hard across the face, I wanted to drag her so badly for dating to put our lives in danger. I want to be so pissed at her but I can’t do all that because she is my only sister and I love her. I have to try doing this as calmly as she helped me when I was sad today. I took in a deep breath and went to her, holding her hand,
“He needs to leave, Claire. Please, I’m begging you. Kyle is nothing but trouble, he will get us all killed if we don’t act fast. He needs to leave, right now!” I told her firmly.
“I can’t believe you’re trying to dictate who I can have in my life after the talk we had today. I can’t believe you will choose to be with a man you love and want me to leave my man because he is in trouble. You went back to Raphael, Vee, so leave my man alone, I’m not sending him away. And you can’t make me leave, You’re not mom!
And if you insist that he leaves this house, then I’m leaving too. I’ll go with him and you’ll never see me again!” she threatened furiously.
“You wouldn’t dare!” I challenged her, calling her bluff. She ignored me and stood next to him, holding his hand. I turned to the guards and gave the order for him to be kicked out. But before I can argue further, before they would even make the move, Claire grabs Kyle’s hand and storms out of the room, leaving with him.
“Come on, Claire, don’t be stupid!
Are you going to stay on the streets with him?
How long can you keep this up before he gets you killed, why won’t you listen to me?!” I called after her, following them down the stairs and begging her to change her mind. She ignored him and pulled him to her room to pick some of her things to take along with her.
She is just pulling my legs, she knows I won’t let her leave. That’s why she is acting all this drama. It’s a good thing that mom is napping right now. If she were here, she would have supported Claire and forced me to let this asshole stay in this house.
But I’m calling her bluff, I know she is just pulling my legs and I’m prepared to see how far she is willing to go with this drama. I refused to stop her until they got to the door, ready to step out with their luggage, and prepared to leave.
“Don’t tell me you are really going with him Claire, are you insane?” I asked her. But she ignored me and pushed the door open, leading the way. I spotted a yellow sports car in the front parking lot. I didn’t notice it when I drove in because I was too furious looking at them upstairs.
It’s only the red Ferrari I drove out that is supposed to be out here. All of Raphael’s cars are parked in his underground garage so I wondered if someone took his car from the Underground garage while I was away. I was thinking of this when Claire noticed my curious gaze and turned to me with a smirk on her face,
“You think it’s only your boyfriend that has nice cars, don’t you?” she laughed.
“Well, news flash!
This car belongs to Kyle, he brought it!” she lets out proudly and threw her bag in the back seat of the sports car before sitting on the passenger side of the car.
“Holy fuck!” I let out in a panic.
