Why Do You Smell Like Me?

POV: Victoria
The master bedroom is incredibly spacious, it covers a significant portion of the top floor of the mansion. I smiled in appreciation as I looked up at the high ceilings with a beautiful chandelier in the middle. It has large windows that offer a stunning view of the terrain.
At the center of the room is a massive, custom-made bed with the finest linens, plush pillows, and a designer headboard. The mattress is likely to be a top-of-the-line luxury model for the ultimate in comfort. I jump on the bed and smile in satisfaction, chuckling excitedly. Claire jumped in after me and we jumped and danced on the bed, loving the soft mattress.
The decor of the room is elegant and sophisticated, there is custom-made Italian furniture and tasteful artwork. The color theme is grey and white with luxurious tones of gold and silver as designs.
“This room is huge, Vee!
It has everything you need!” Claire let out excitedly and we toured my room. I am pretty sure that this room belongs to Ralph. His scent is everywhere in this room and I could see his taste and neatness in everything I touch in this room. It has this male presence, I could practically see him walking around this room.
It is equipped with every amenity imaginable, including a large flat-screen TV that can be hidden behind a piece of art, a state-of-the-art sound system, automated curtains, and smart lighting controlled by a touchpad.
While Claire played with the touchpad, I walked into the first door on my right. It is a spacious walk-in closet that could be mistaken for a boutique. It is meticulously organized with custom shelving, racks for clothing and shoes, a seating area, and even a small refrigerator for drinks and snacks. I poured myself a drink and sat in the vanity, picking on a snack while watching myself in the mirror as my mouth moved.
“Vee, where are you?
Look here, come and see this,” Claire called out to me, sounding excited. I stepped out of the walk-in closet to see what she was talking about. But I couldn’t find her in the bedroom. I heard her call me again and I followed her voice to the bathroom. And there she was, taking off her clothes excitedly.
“What are you doing?” smiling at her childish behavior. The bathroom has dual vanities with designer fixtures, a separate water closet, and heated floors and towels. It’s so huge and classic, just like everything else in this house.
“I’m so stressed out from walking all day long. I deserve a warm soak in the bathtub,” she responded, mimicking Raphael’s voice and sounding so hilarious. She filled the water in the large soaking tub and added some soothing oils and other bathing essentials before getting into the tub. I laughed along with her and I walked into the walk-in shower with multiple showerheads.
We had fun exploring the bathroom and using Raphael’s things. We laughed excitedly as we used things we did not even know their uses. We wrapped a towel around our chest and on our heads as we stepped out of the room to the balcony where the real occupant sits to enjoy fresh air, stunning views, and outdoor relaxation. It has a relaxation swing, reclining seats, and a fancy customized table.
Claire and I didn’t care about his reclining seats and table, we didn’t even want to sit on the swing. We just stood on the balcony and screamed in excitement, letting our emotions out. It’s a good thing that this part of the estate is owned by Raphael and there are no neighbors to complain about our excited screams.
Suffice it to say that Raphael built this house as a sanctuary. He made everything luxurious for his comfort. The luxury and style are designed to cater to his every need and also provide a private retreat from the demands of his busy life. I wonder if his other houses are built and decorated with pristine accuracy like this one.
“What if he doesn’t take you back, Vee?
Are we going to be asked to leave this house, where would we stay?” Claire asked in panic as I got dressed to go out and look for Raphael. She must really like it here I mean who wouldn’t?
“He will take me back, I’ll make sure of that,” I told her confidently. Deep in my heart, I know that he has no choice in the matter. His grandfather already forced him to propose because he likes me. Breaking up with me so soon after your, return would make his grandfather furious.
The press would not stop talking about it if it happened and it’s going to break the old man’s heart. So yeah, I’m a bit confident that he would take me back. Now all I need to do is to find a way to convince him to give me a job. I pulled out the engagement ring he gave me from the jewelry box and I wore it on my engagement finger to remind him that we were engaged already.
“Holy Fuck!
Victoria, tell me these are not real Diamonds. Are these stones real?” Claire asks in shock as she sees my jewelry boxes. I smiled and told her about the game and we laughed at Cindy and the other girls once more. I tried calling Ralph before I left, but he wasn’t picking up. So I decided to call his personal assistant, Carl.
“Where is he?” I asked Carl on the phone when Raphael wouldn’t pick up my calls for the one-hundredth time.
“I can’t say miss, Victoria. He would kill me if I tell you.” Carl begged.
“I’m not doing anything, Carl. I just want to see him and apologize for my actions earlier. I won’t cause any trouble for you, I promise.” I told him, prodding for Raphael’s location. He finally caved after some minutes and he told me that Ralph had resumed work immediately.
“He is out of the office now, he went for a meeting with an investor. But he will be back pretty soon because we have so much work to do.” He confided.
“That’s fine, Carl. Could you please pick me up at the reception in a few minutes. I’m driving out now and I’m coming to wait for him in his office.” I told him firmly. He wanted to object, but I ended the call before he could say anything and I got a key from the many keys hanging on the wall.
I had no idea which car it belonged to, I just picked a key and strolled the garage. When I got there I clicked on the button to unlock the car door. I used the sound of the door to locate the car and I found myself standing in front of a red Ferrari.
“Awesome,” I whispered to myself as I stepped in and drove the car out of the garage and down the tiled road. I caught a glimpse of Claire as she squealed and waved at me excitedly. I smiled proudly and drove down to the company to see him.
Carl picked me up like I asked for and with him by my side, I passed through the security without hindrance. I was granted access to his office and I stayed there to wait for him. I waited for almost one hour before Raphael showed up at his office. The first thing he said when he walked in was,
“What the hell are you doing here, who let you into my office?” he screamed in annoyance, his face squeezed up in disgust.
“I’m your fiancee, Raphael!
Does that answer your question?
I have access to your office because I am your fiancee,” I told him, flaunting the ring on my finger for him to see.
“Last I checked, we broke up already. So tell me why you are here before I call the security to throw you out!” he threatened fiercely.
“Oh, come on, Ralph, don’t be ridiculous. You know I didn’t mean it. This is not a relationship I can just walk away from and you know it. We had a deal, remember?” I asked him with a warm smile.
“You should have thought of that before you embarrassed me in front of your mother and your sister. Now get the hell out of here, rate deal is off!” he lets out sternly as he walks past me, going to sit on his seat. But he stopped the minute he walked past me and he sniffed the air around me, his brows curved in question as he looked at me strangely.
“Why do you smell like me?
Do I even want to know how you got a ride to this office?” He asked, his eyes fixed on me. He was thoughtful for a few minutes, then he reclined his sit and leaned backward, his eyes fixed on me,
“Did you drive my fucking car?”
