Cameron’s POV
I sighted that bitch immediately after I got into the restaurant. Her name is Charlotte Keller, and she has been hitting on my man for a while now, or should I call him my brother, I really don’t think there is a difference anymore. He’s my man and at the same time, he’s my brother. I would rather lose Maverick to these whores that keep coming after him than lose my brother to any girl out there. I love Shane more than I love myself, I can’t imagine a life without him. It started out as a silly joke, I was just drawn to him like a soulmate. And when I made a move, he embraced it with open arms, showing that he feels exactly the same way that I do.
It’s quite a shame that I can’t openly declare my affection for him, and I can’t continue fighting for two men at the same time, it’s quite difficult you know. I found out about her from a spy I pay to keep a close watch on Shane and report back to me if he’s messing around with any girl. I can’t possibly follow him everywhere he goes, can I?
Right now, everyone sees me as an overprotective sister that is just looking out for her brother to make sure he doesn’t get his heart broken by one of the whore’s out there. When I get into a fight with any girl that I see hovering around him, they get pissed and call me a meddling bitch because they feel I’m meddling in my brother’s affairs because we are blood-related. They have no fucking idea that we are lovers, and I intend to keep it that way. As far as I am concerned, it’s only that meddling whore that loves overstepping her boundaries that have seen us together. I’m not even worried about that bitch, she is just an ordinary secretary and I can bet that she wouldn’t dare to defy me else I’ll make her lose her job and be kicked out to the streets.
“You depraved whore, why won’t you stay away from my brother, is he better thank your husband?” I asked in a mocking tone, smirking evilly at her. When my spies told me Shane has been spending quality time with her, I did some investigation and I found out that she is from a reputable home, and not only that, she also has a husband who is also a wealthy heir from an equally important family. She has a brother who clings to her like a magnet, and if you ask me, I think they have the same relationship that I share with my brother, but theirs is not so obvious because she is married to a billionaire, and he is engaged to a pretty model who happens to be an heiress as well. You would never suspect that they are having an affair because they try their best to hide it and act normal, and they use their spouses to cover up their dirty affairs.
“You must be the clingy sister that my baby spoke about. I’ve heard so much about you, like how you chase all his girlfriends away because you want to keep that sweet dick to yourself. You are a selfish bitch, Cameron, and you need to get a life and let your brother live his as it leases him. I love Shane and he loves me as well. We plan to get married after we get rid of you and my stupid husband. I’ll suggest you stay as far away from me as you possibly can because I hate you as much as you hate me. And if you try to come between Shane and I, I’ll fucking kill you.” She threatened me furiously, sounding so mean and dangerous. If it were some other girl in this pack that knows everything about me, I would have been scared.
I mean, it’s scary to see a girl that knows how vicious and dangerous I can be summon the courage and stand in front of me to rant so freely like a raving lunatic. No girl in her right senses would dare to stand in front of me and rant this way, except she doesn’t really know me well. But this bitch knows nothing about me, that is why she thinks she is so tough. Well, I know how these wealthy human brats think, and I know how important the family reputation is to her. That is why I took some pictures of her when she was screwing my brother in Mavericks Hotel. I used her nude pictures and sex videos to send her running out of the city without even saying goodbye to her lover. I thought her not to mess with me, and I threatened to spill the beans and get her exposed for screwing her brother.

I’m performing my civic duties by sending filthy people out of our beloved city. Shane tried to get in touch with her a couple of times, but I’m always one step ahead, and I always find a way to stop him from ever reuniting with her, and I blocked her from getting to him as well. She is the first girl that my brother has ever been serious about, and when I chased her away, I thought he would never fall in love with another woman but me. But I was wrong, the moment he set his eyes on that wench, Valerie, he fell hard and fast. I have no idea what he sees in her, but he doesn’t spend one day without driving through Maverick’s office just to set his eye on her.
He is trying to hide his affairs from me, I guess he has learned his lesson from the last time he tried to date a girl he likes. What I did to Charlotte and him should be enough to keep him from fooling around, but Shane is always trying to piss me off. He knows I chased Charlotte away, and he is trying to make me pay for what I did to him. So I’m not really bothered about losing him to these bitches because I know he is just doing it to get me jealous. But when he starts hiding a girl from me and being all sneaky about it, that is when I get worried because his actions show that he is in love with that girl. And he would find a way to protect her and keep her away from me.
I saw the way he looks at her and I know he loves her, but since he is trying to pretend that he has her, I also decided to pretend not to notice his attraction to her. But she knows I hate her, and I’m glad she stays off my men because I would have killed her and dumped her remains in the slums if she had tried to steal either Shane or Maverick. But she never tried any of such, and I would have still had both men by my side if that lycan witch didn’t show up from nowhere and caused chaos in my life again. She did not just come to steal Maverick from me, she also came with Charlotte and I’m guessing she brought back that whore to take my brother from me as well.
“I guess you finally met your match, and you decided to back down before you get embarrassed. I should have known that you weren’t serious with him, I know it because you have your brother…”
“What the hell are you talking about?” I yelled through the receiver, stopping her from saying too much. For all I know, she could be trying to trick me to say what I’m not supposed to say, she could be recording our conversation, or she is with Maverick and could have put her phone on speaker while they both wait for me to say something incriminating.
“Well, you can pretend to care for him in public, but I know what you are capable of, and I know it was you that fixed him on a date in that fancy restaurant. My only problem is that I’m wondering why you couldn’t choose any of these desperate girls around here that just want to have a taste of him. Why did you have to set him up with his ex, why?” she asked me angrily.
I was so furious when I got that call from that bitch Valerie. She can be so smart and tricky sometimes. I mean, it’s obvious she wanted to inform me that my man is out there with another woman. But she had to be dramatic about it because she is such a vindictive bitch. She just wants to remind me that she knows about my relationship with my brother. And she wants to make me feel guilty for treating Maverick like a fucking loser. I know she has a thing for Maverick, but just like him, she is hiding it as well. If it wasn’t for his title and power, I would never have settled for him because I hate his cool temperament and his overly nice attitude. He’s certainly not my spec, Only Shane can give me everything I need in a relationship.
“If you have some information for me, why don’t you just spill it out and stop being a damn bitch. I’m not going to eat him up, am I?
When I’m done with my missions, I can let you have him while I live happily ever after with Shane. But if anyone succeeds in distracting Maverick then he won’t focus on me anymore. That could ruin my happily ever after, and I won’t let that happen!
So why don’t you quit being a bitch and just tell me where to find them!” I roared into the receiver, earning me a shocked gasp and an angry groan. It took her a few minutes to send me their location, and once I received it, I set out immediately with my brother and we drove straight to the fancy restaurant to face the bitch that wants to share a man with me. I had no idea that it was the lycan Princess and I wondered why she is so interested in Maverick. Will she be willing to be with a man that I’m going to dump pretty soon. How would she feel if she finds out that the man she is fighting for will soon become my ex. It’s going to be so fucking hilarious
Yes, I know I’m going to dump Maverick pitifully. The plan is to get my father to the throne, then I can toss him aside and be with Shane. But how can I do any of that when this lycan witch is here to destroy all my plans. She is stronger than me because she has her beast, and she is making me look like a fan fool as she tosses me around like a ragged doll. If I keep trying to beat her, I will only suffer more disgrace and embarrassment. She would make me look stupid before my subordinates, and I’ll end up losing my respect around here. I caught her smirking at my pitiful condition, and I felt even more furious because this was no longer a fight for Maverick it was now a fight to restore my dignity and that of my family because she just made a fool out of me in public.
It suddenly occurred in my head that my father is not just an ex-Beta, he is a powerful man and the Lycan king owes him a favor. In fact, Dad had forced King Gerald to acknowledge my relationship with Maverick and he personally came down here to have me betrothed to Mav. It’s not uncommon for an Alpha or Beta to invite the lycan king for an occasion, but it is very rare to see him attending one of these celebrations by himself. He usually declines every invitation sent to him, and if it is absolutely important, he sends a delegate to represent him.
But, when it was my turn, he didn’t decline or send a delegate. He got on a plane and came down here immediately, and he stayed until the main part of the occasion was concluded. He gave a little speech about mating with the right person and the beauty of the mating bond, then he gave his approval and left us for our celebration. If the lycan king himself supported this union, then who the hell is this bitch, and why the hell is she trying to demean and subdue me, does she not know that my father is the almighty Harold Armstrong?

I would love to know if he suddenly changed his mind.” I told her fiercely, threatening her. For the first time since she arrived, I noticed that she was taken aback by my threat, which means that she doesn’t want her father to know about this. I knew I have gotten her right where I want her to be. Her eyes kept blazing in anger, but she didn’t stack me anymore. She kept mute and just continued to glare at me, I guess she was thinking of what to say to me.
This time, it was my turn to smirk evilly at her. She was speechless and defeated, and if it wasn’t for the same of her pride, she would have backed away and retreated already. But she wanted to look tough, so she kept glaring at me angrily. After a few minutes, we both turned to the idiot who had been sitting calmly all along.
