Michael’s POV
I got her exactly where I want her to be. At first, she was reluctant, but after much persuasion, she finally agreed to shift and go for a run with me.
I know am prepared for anything at all, the problem is I don’t know if she’s ready for what she’s about to find out. I hope she doesn’t freak out on me. She said she’ll forgive me no matter what, I just hope she keeps to her word.
“Stay close guys, we’re about to shift,” I instructed the guys through our mind link. They left us alone so I can have enough privacy to convince her to shift and go for a run with me.
She looks a bit nervous, I guess she doesn’t know what to do. From what she had told me earlier, she had only shifted once and that was more than seven years ago. She still needs to be assisted in her shift because she’s still a rookie.
I stretched out my hand and cupped her cheeks and smiled down at her,
“Focus on me cupcake, let’s do it together,” I told her softly as I held her hand and looked deep into her eyes, searching deep into her soul,
“Follow my lead cupcake, focus on Phoenix and call out to her,” I instructed her as I searched within me and called out to Falcon also, feeling the change as I phase out into my beast, watching her closely as she shifts also.
My shiny pitch black fur begins to seep out of my skin, wait, my fur is no longer black, no, they are now white, shining so brightly.

I’ve never come across a white Lycan before. With my heightened senses, I could hear my friends gasping in surprise and I knew that they were watching us right now. I increased in height drastically and my shoulder broadened, My canines protruded out and my ears elongated too, giving me that beastly look that scares the shit out of all other beasts.
Arabella stood in front of me shinning as bright as the snow, with her eyes are shining a deep blue, just like mine. Damn!!! she is so beautiful and she is so huge, so fucking big, bigger than even the Lycan king. I could sense her Aura, it is strong, I mean very stronger, stronger than even my father’s Aura. She is so powerful, so fucking powerful. I can’t wait to see all she can do.
She’s looking at me in absolute shock and she’s moving backward, moving away from me, that was when I realized that I still need to confess to her and tell her the truth.
“Am sorry I lied to you my love, I just didn’t want to scare you away.” I pleaded softly, speaking through our mind link.
“How can you be a Lycan?? I never sensed it, who the hell are you??” she asked back.
“You’re freaking out Bells, you promised to listen to my explanation, remember??” I kept pleading as I took a step closer but she took another step backward, moving further away from me.
“How is this even possible?? How can this be?? Were you sent by the king?? How could you deceive me??” she kept asking nonstop, I felt her sadness, it was so obvious in her eyes. I decided to keep the rest of my secret for now, with the way she’s acting, I don’t think she can handle it if I tell her that am the same guy that rejected her when she was just five years old.
Nah.. it has got to wait for now, at least let me try and convince her to accept the fact that I am a Lycan, when we get back, I can now tell her the bigger secret.
“Come on my love, this shifting is for Falcon and Phoenix, let them bond. It doesn’t matter if am a Lycan or a werewolf, what truly counts is that I love you and I want to be with you. Nothing else matters cupcake,” As I spoke, I walked towards her, and she didn’t move back this time, she stayed put and I walked over to where she stood, nuzzling her softly, placing my head right on top of her neck, snuggling with her until she calms down and relaxed, nuzzling me too.
“You’ve got a lot of explaining to do mister, when we get back, you had better tell me everything, I mean everything. I won’t forgive you if you ever lie to me again.” she warned me strictly, making me chuckle softly within me.
“I’ll tell you everything, I promise. You look so beautiful and your so huge,” I teased her jokingly, I know she would have blushed if she was in her human form, but right now she could only snuggle closer to me, placing her head on my neck.
“My friends are coming soon, let’s give Phoenix and Falcon some minutes to chat,” I suggested to her and she agreed with a smile. I saw her eyes take on a darker shade and her Aura got stronger and powerful, I knew immediately that she has taken a back seat and she has left the floor for Phoenix.
“It’s your show man, have fun,” I said to Falcon then I went mute also, letting Falcon take control as I sat down and because a spectators in my own body.
“Hi Nix, it’s so nice to finally meet you after so many years, I missed you so much, I just can’t wait to establish our bond, I can’t wait to see my mark on your neck.” Falcon said seductively as he nuzzled her neck, fondling with her ears.
“I missed you Falc, I missed you so much. I want to bear your mark Falc, I don’t know why Arabella is holding back, but I can’t wait anymore my love, I want our bond to be solidified permanently. Let’s do it Falc, let’s make it impossible for them to deny the bond any longer, let us force them to get mated,” Phoenix suggested to him.
I couldn’t help chuckling at her boldness. I can imagine how angry Arabella would be right now, but she can’t do anything about it and neither can I because they are in full control. I can force him back and take total control if I want to but I think I love her suggestion, so I’ll simply sit back and let them go right ahead.
“Why aren’t you stopping them??” I heard her voice in my head.
“How are you talking to me right now?? Is that part of your powers??” I asked her back through the mind link that she magically created.
“That’s not the issue now, why are you letting them mark each other, you’re doing this on purpose aren’t you??” she asked me quizzically.
“Hey, don’t blame me, you asked for it, remember?? Phoenix asked for it so technically, you asked for it. Besides, you can’t really blame her you know, she has been suppressed for more than seven years, If you were in her shoes, you’ll do the same.” I said jokingly, adding a bit of sarcasm, making her laugh out loud.
“Do you still want to be with me, Do you still love me??” I asked her when her giggles subsided a little.
“You mean, do I still want to be your mate after finding out that you’re a Lycan??” she rephrased my question, sounding so sarcastic.
“Yeah, I meant that, you don’t have to sound so sarcastic. If you still love me cupcake, then let them do it, it’s the start of our mating ritual. Except you no longer want to be mated to me, then we can stop them right now.” I told her teasingly, hoping to ease her mind but she didn’t laugh about it, she seems a little hesitant about it.
“Are you really sure we can pull this off??” she asked me, sounding unsure. I know why she’s skeptical, it’s really not her fault, but I’ve got it all covered, I would never let anyone hurt her, ever. I can and I will protect her.
“Everything is going to be fine by love, trust me.” I assured her. Falcon and Phoenix are still snuggling and cuddling, they seem to have connected with each other. I was so distracted by my talk with Bella, I didn’t get to hear his response to her request.
“I just spoke to Arabella about it, you can mark Phoenix tonight, she’s cool with it. I’ll call the guys over, let’s start our mating ritual.” I said to Falcon, eliciting a loud howl from him as he expresses his joy.
“You can come out now guys, she’s not going to tear you into shreds.” I teased my friends. They have been hiding out in the woods all this while. I only heard them gasping and chartering when we shifted, they have been awfully quiet since then.
They came out in their wolf form, eying her in amazement. They looked so little before her, you’ll never believe that they are lycans and she is just a wolf. Her size and Aura are just too great to ignore, she is fit to be queen, there’s no doubt about that.
“It’s time Falc, do it now,” I urged him calmly, and he let out a mighty howl, and I felt his canines protruding out of my mouth, itching to place my mark on her wolf. Falcon licked the spot on her neck repeatedly, seeking permission from her,
“He wants your permission,” I whispered into her ear, then I heard her voice in my head as she said, “Do it Falc, am ready.”
That was all the encouragement he needed. He licked her marking spot once more, making her shiver in desire, then he placed his canines on the spot and pierced her skin, breaking in in one swift push, with her blood trickling down. She gasped in pain when he pieced her, but that was it, the pain didn’t last for long, all I heard next were silent whimpers that sounded like moans of pleasure.
MINE!! He declared with a growl, sounding pleased.
When falcon finally retracted his canines, he flicked his tongue on her bite mark, howling out once more. I heard the howls of the other wolf’s behind us, I guess they decided to start their own mating also, don’t mind their impatience, they’ve waited for so long and I know that they deserve to be happy as well.
“What are you waiting for, aren’t you going to mark and brand this guy?? You had better hurry, he could get snatched away, you know he is irresistibly cute.” I teased and joked with her, hearing her giggle as she teased me back,
“You wish!! irresistibly cute, my ass.” she said jokingly.
“You wound me cupcake, Now you’ve hurt my feelings, you’re so mean,” I said to her. The girls were waiting for her cue so they can also place their marks on their mates. I don’t know if it’s right that we are starting our mating ritual together as a group, but I have to admit that I do feel our bond getting stronger.
I felt her tongue on Falcon’s neck, she flicked her tongue on Falcons marking spot, doing exactly what Falcon had done earlier. In one clean move, she sank her canines in his marking spot, piercing his skin so damn quickly, making us gasp at the pain.
I felt the pain when Phoenix marked Falcon, it hurt at first but the pain lasted for just a second, then it disappeared completely and all I could feel was a pure pleasure that ignites the flames of desire within me. This feeling is heavenly!! I never want it to stop.
I could feel our bond getting stronger, I could feel everything she’s feeling, it’s just like our connection has just been permanently established. A part of her is happy about our bonding while another part of her is still scared of our unknown future. She is so curious about the secret am keeping from her, she looked so tough on the outside but inside, she is so sad and broken.
She yearns to be loved and cuddled, she yearns to be accepted. Am definitely going to make sure I fill up that void in her heart and I’ll fill her heart with happy memories that would replace all her sad memories. I heard some other voices that I don’t know where it coming from, I decided to listen more carefully,
“How is going to hide this from his father??”
“I love how cute, they looked together.”
“Damn, am proud of Michael, I never thought he’ll be able to convince her to stay with him.”
“Damn, we finally got mated. I hope Michael completes his mating ritual tonight, then I can spend the whole night, screwing Celine.”

I just read their thoughts, I’ve finally got the gift!! This is so fucking cool, it’s so incredible.
But why do I feel like I just tricked her into accepting me, it feels like I did a terrible thing by hiding my identity from her,
Gosh!!!
Am such a terrible person, she deserves to know the truth, so am definitely going to lay all the cards on the table as soon as we get home. I won’t let the night pass without telling her the truth.
