Drakes POV
“Stay out of this sir, we have our orders. She has no business here, she has to leave,” a guard yelled in my face. I tipped my head in his direction, trying to figure out the perfect punishment that he deserves. I got distracted by the sound of Loretta’s voice as she stepped back and stood in front of me, glaring at me with disgust.
“Who the hell are you and why won’t you mind your business, do you want to be kicked out as well?
Give me one reason why I shouldn’t kick you out of this building for being a meddling idiot,” she continued.
I can’t believe that she would have the audacity to stand in front of me and spout such rubbish. I wanted to throttle this bitch, I want to feed her fucking tongue to the dogs. I want to break every damn bone on her body. It
“How dare you, Loretta, how dare you?” I growled at her face, making her eyes go wide. I guess she wasn’t expecting me to call her by her name. I was told that she hit my wife in the face, I hope she knows that I won’t let her off easily. She is going to pay for this.
“Where the hell is he, Get Mr. Caswell Robert in here, and get these idiots arrested for bantering and abuse of power. I need to set the record straight and I need to talk to my bro…”
“And what do you have to say to me?” Riley let out from a distance, cutting my words short.
“This is, man!
This is the height of it!
You went too far Riley, too fucking Far!”
“Too far?
Really?
You stole my wom…” I slapped him hard across the face before he could finish that sentence.
“Don’t you ever speak rudely about my wife to my fucking face, Riley, I won’t take that fucking shit from you or anyone else.” I yelled in annoyance, attracting the attention of everyone around as they all gasped in shock.
“Holy Shit!”
Hearing their outburst made me realize that I just broke my promise to Mia, I turned to her immediately and I saw the sadness in her eyes as she turned towards the exit and ran out of the office building.
“Mia,
Wait,
Babe,”
I tried calling out to her, but she didn’t respond to me, she ran towards the parking lot, and I knew she was going to her car, so I signaled her guards to follow her and make sure she gets home safely. When I turned back to face Riley again, I realized that he wasn’t there anymore, and neither was his slutty girlfriend. They must have left when I tried to stop Mia, if they think I’ll let this go, they must be joking.
“Find them, and bring them to the conference room on the last floor. Get me the head of every department, especially HR. I need everyone in that conference room in thirty minutes.” I ordered Riley’s secretary. She had been stunned by the discovery that I am Riley’s brother. She kept nodding her head as she left to carry out my orders.
I looked around the reception hall, and they were a few security guards and my bodyguard. They were the only ones that heard my outburst when I referred to Mia as my wife. The receptionists and Riley’s secretary had heard me as well but I can deal with those ones later. The ones that need to be dealt with immediate are the stupid security guards that hurt my wife. They stood there and watched as she gets bullied by that whore, then they assisted her by dragging Mia out of this building, my building. I turned in their direction and they looked away, shivering in fear.
“Get your personal belongings and get the hell out of here before I have you arrested.” I asserted firmly.
“We’re so sorry, we never knew that she was your wife, we were simply following orders.” They pleaded.
“Those orders just cost you your jobs, assholes!
You are both fired!
Now get the hell out of here before I lose it!” I warned. They didn’t listen to my warning, they went down on their knees, begging me to forgive their ignorance and take them back. Their stupid show drew more attention to me, and I saw the other security guards coming closer, forming a crowd around us. I looked up and saw that nobody was working anymore. From the first floor of the building to the last floor, the staffers all stood on the balcony, staring down at us. I caught a glimpse of Riley and his Whore on the fiftieth floor, and I didn’t miss the smirk on their faces as they watched me as well. It’s obvious that this is a setup, they are trying to make a foul out of me. From the angry looks I’m getting from everyone around, I’m guessing that Riley and his stupid girlfriend have said something to them.
Even the security guards look like a bunch of hired thugs. They seem ready to attack me and my guards. I have not recruited more guards, I sent a few guys to my family, and a fee to Mia’s family as well. I haven’t had the time to call for backup, and from what I’m seeing, we are grossly outnumbered. I have only a few guards with me, the rest were with Liam. I brought out my phone and dialed Mr. Caswell Robert. He’s taking too long, I don’t have the patience to wait any longer. I need him to hand me the documents that were signed by my dad and I yesterday, he needs to address HR and present every document needed to clarify this mess.
“What’s taking you so long, where the hell are you?” I asked him sternly.
“I’ll be there soon, Mr. Osborne. I stopped by to pick up your father, he wants to set the record straight by himself. We are a few seconds away.” He confirmed confidently. I noticed that the security guards I fired were no longer pleading for forgiveness. The idiots were standing with the other security guards, glaring furiously at me. At first, I was a bit surprised by this move, but when I saw the communication device in their ears, I realized that they are simply following another instruction.
“Where the fuck are you?” I asked him furiously.
“Sorry boss, we encountered some challenges out here. The fool had a cyanide capsule hidden in his molar. We lost him man, and now I have to get rid of every piece of evidence that could lead back to us.
So annoying!” He sighed.
I’ve heard that some Russian mob bosses replaced a molar with a cyanide capsule. When a soldier is captured, he could just simply bite down on the pill and wait for the magic to happen. That way he wouldn’t be tortured for information and he won’t have to betray his fellow comrades. I’ve only heard about it, I have never seen it being used by soldiers. They are usually too selfish to give up their life for the cause, some end up singing like a bird after little torture. It is very rare to see a soldier that is willing to use the suicide pill, not when they are not under duress.
“check the bodies, Liam, are they on Comm’s?” I asked.
“Actually, I was just about to say that. Their comms are still active, or so it seems. I can see the green light blinking.
Wait,
How the hell did you know that?” he inquired curiously.
“I’ve got a bunch of guys, dressed in our company’s security uniforms, wearing the same comms.”
“Holy shit,
No, Drake, you can’t let them get away with this, we need to get them. Talk to man, what do you need, do you need me there, do you need backup?
Wait,
What the hell am I saying?
Of course, you don’t need backup. You can handle a few rent-a-thug, by yourself.
What are you planning, what are you going to do about it?” he let out curiously. I smiled at his optimism. I know I can handle these idiots, but I’ll be sending a message out there as well. These guys have underestimated me, It’s time they know who they are dealing with.
“I’ll handle it, myself. Just get here now, I need you to clean up the mess when I’m done.” I asserted firmly. I guess my first task as Chairman of this cooperation will be to flush out every mole in this company. I still don’t know what Liam has been up to, I don’t know what he has gotten himself into and why he let these Russian bastards to control him. But one thing is certain, I won’t sit back and let him ruin our family.
Not on my watch!
I turned to face him squarely, letting him know that I know what he is up to. With my eyes looking up at him, I took off my suit and folded my sleeves before turning to face the stupid Bratva thugs.
“Tour Boss, .” I said in Russian.
“Tell your boss that he messed with the wrong guy.”
They were so shocked to hear me speaking Russian, I didn’t give them time to get over their shock before I attacked.
