Louis and Sharon meet at his penthouse, again. The kind man invited his ex girlfriend before things could go out of hand forever. He thought it would be great to give the woman an explanation for why they’ve broken up.
However villainous may she be, Sharon was a human with a heart as well.
Dressed in a skin fit short dress, she joins the male on the candle light dinner he arranged in the corridor.
She fumbles with the fork and the steak piece she cut through just now.
“You’re exceptionally well at cooking steak as always.” Louis was sipping on his glass of red wine when he hums before responding, “Thank you. I kinda wanted to perfect myself in cooking for you and my brothers, well Cassandra too.”
Sharon smiles, taking a bite. Louis watches her try to hold her tears in.
“Sharon…” he reaches out to hold her hand.
“Do you remember that day?” She retracts her hand to herself, taking the tissue to wipe her snot away.
“Our first anniversary, in August.”
“Ah. Yes, I do. We made love that day and-”
“No. You gifted me something.”
[FLASHBACK…]
Sharon comes out of the bathroom after taking a shower to relieve herself from tiredness. She and her lover for one year made love, it felt special that day because it was their anniversary.
Waiting for her, Louis stands up and smiles. Sharon approaches to place her cold hands on his bare chest, tip-toeing to reach his lips and place an affectionate kiss.
“I had fun today.” She says, hugging him.
“I have something for you.” Says Louis.
She opens a big bottle of wine, 57 years of age and a red ribbon tied to its neck.
“What’s… this?” She sees a blue velvet box attached to it.
“Louis… this is expensive. I don’t like these-”
“Oh, please. You’re just like Cassandra. Just, don’t say no to it.”
“Louis, I don’t like taking gifts from you…” ignoring her words, Louis tries to fill her finger with the ring.
“Now, look into it.” Says Louis.
“What’s in this?” Curiously, Sharon closes on eye and peeps into the diamond of the ring until a text written within was revealed.
[Please don’t stop loving me]
Was engraved into the little diamond ring.
[FLASHBACK ENDS…]
Sharon removes the ring while a tear drop rolls down both of their eyes. He looks at her, smiling widely.
“I’m sorry that I couldn’t understand my fault. I was a bad woman from the beginning. And honestly, being linked to a Johnson is like a curse. I couldn’t keep up with the popularity, Louis. Everyone was viewing me as a gold digger until I fucking turned into one. I don’t know when it happened, but I’m shameful. I’m sorry…” she cries, blowing into the napkin.
Louis stares at her without saying a word. He looks at the ring she had submitted back to him.
“Find another suitable hand for that lovely ring, hmm?” She says, smiling.
“And let me be greedy one more time. I cannot miss out on the lovely food you make for your loved ones. But I am not your loved one anymore-” She gasps as the male loudly scoots his chair backwards and strides around the table towards her.
She gets up as well, preparing herself to receive one last kiss from him.
“Let me be greedy for one last time, too.” He says against her lips after sucking her air out. Sharon nods willingly.
That was the official, understanding breakup for the two.
It was around 12 when Louis felt like invading his siblings’ house. They weren’t back yet, but he was told by Nick they’ll be back soon enough.
At 12:13 am, the five siblings greet their eldest while half of them were drunk as fuck.
With them, Ravine hung onto Cassandra who held a bottle of booze as well. Zayn was the last one to enter as he closes the door and greets the security Goodnight.
“Whoa there! What are you doing here!?” Cassandra says and falls on Louis’s lap, making him chuckle. Soon, most of them crash into the big couch and dose off almost instantly.
“Cassie. Can I talk to you for a moment? If you’re sober.” Cassandra suddenly remembers that he was going to end things officially with Sharon tonight.
She gets up and nods, glancing all over his face.
“Yes, I’m sober. Tell me everything.” Says she.
They jump up to the roof with many beer cans. Cassandra wasn’t afraid to ruin her rich dress anymore. Her shoulder was already soiled with tears and snot from Ravine.
Louis gazes into the blanket of stars after telling Cassandra every detail that happened in the past few hours. While Cassandra and others were gone to celebrate their graduation, Louis was battling with his emotions at his house.
At the end, Cassandra pats his back and hugs his side.
“I’m proud of you. But I didn’t like the fact that you had sex with her again. Lovemaking turned into a bitter, parting memory for you now.”
“I wouldn’t say it was lovemaking. It was just parting sex.” Louis says. Upon sensing her silence, Louis turns to see Cassandra glaring at him. The girl sighs and shakes her head.
“I can’t say anything about that. I’m not someone in love.” She says, Louis patting her head. She felt uneasy to tell that she wasn’t in love. She gave an opinion out BECAUSE she was in love. She knew the vast range of emotions love can make a person feel.
“Anyway. Keep that ring safe. Maybe who knows? Someone might strike your luck and make you go zing-zing.” Louis laughs at her childishness.
“Thank you, baby sister. You’re the best.” He holds her head, attaching their foreheads as he expresses his gratitude.
“You’re welcome.
And you stink like a pussy.”
