Prom queens

Book:The Forbidden Reverse Harem Published:2025-2-8

It was the most anticipated prom night for Jugo League. The campus was dressed in brightest colors and looked like a huge stadium hosting an international football match. The year’s graduates from high School’s to PhD were given a chance to enjoy the night of 12th April before academics began again in the month of June.
Cassandra chose a bottle green sleeveless corduroy gown for the night, with matching sleeves and heels. Her funky golden color specs were the highlight to her attire. On the other hand, her new friend Ravine was dressed in a tall brown and black gown which looked as if it was an Elizabethan masterpiece.
Both were designed by Krille.
“Oh, my god.” Ravine clasps her hands together as the girl comes out from her room. Ravine was seated with Dan and Zayn in silence when they all turn around to see yet another rocking fit of Cassandra.
“How are you pulling these off so easily? I’m jealous, Johnson.” Ravine says, to which Cassandra winks and replies, “Because I’m a Johnson.”
“Ey!~” the boys howl at her response, proud as well.
But someone was not half as proud.
The rolled newspaper strikes Cassandra’s hair by a person. “Who the fu-”
Cassandra turns around to yell at the person who ‘almost’ ruined her hair she spent many minutes setting it to perfection.
“O-oh… Krille!” She hugs the female.
“Because you’re a Johnson? Give me a break, girlie. I designed them!~”
“Yeah, yeah… you designed them~” Ravine chuckles at their interaction, joining them.
“These are beautiful, Krille. Thank you for making these for us. And to pull it off in one day… I think you’re a genius.”
Krille throws her short hair back, scoffing with irreplaceable pride.
“I know, sweetie. Now, off you go. Louis-boy, drop me home.”
“Yes ma’am!”
And so, the girls take one car while the boys drive with Alex as always.
“Whoa, you can drive!?”
“What do you think I am, Cassandra? I’m a Noble. If I’m not doing this, I ain’t a perfect person.”
“Woo-hoo!” The girl yells when the car speeds up across the streets.
Having reached first, the girls watch madness unfold.
For one college’s prom night, the nation recruited around hundreds of journalists and reporters to click pictures of the night. Cassandra and Ravine coming in one vehicle made all flash cameras turn towards the hot red car.
“Damn! Is that Ravine!? The famous nobleman’s daughter!?”
“I knew it! They’re the only two girls of the campus worth our money. Quick! Click their pics!”
Giving the parking to the valet, Ravine and Cassandra pose for the long line of reporters along the red carpet. They felt like literal celebrities, there were so many things right about tonight.
“Let’s pose something funny!” Cassandra says in Ravine’s ear, against the loud talks of the public around.
“Sure!” Telepathically, both face each other’s backs and do a 007 Bond pose together. Their hands became guns as they laughed afterwards, but made a good picture out of the pose.
“Look who’s here.” It was Darla’s annoying voice which greets the two most famous girls of the night.
“Look who’s still wishing to act funny. Out of our way, peasant.” Cassandra’s character for tonight makes Ravine laugh at her wittiness.
“Watch who you’re talking to.”
“Watch who you’re messing with.” Just then, they turn around to notice a rise in cheers and girls all screaming.
It was none other than the Johnsons who stepped into the hall, hence making all the hormonal girls scream for them.
Darla clenches her jaw and moves to the side, rightfully letting the two pass and move further into the hall.
As expected, Zayn finds Cassandra at the table with delicious food, fruits and salad.
However, he notices that she wasn’t alone. She was with her new friend, as she mentioned before.
He too goes to find his batch of friends and spends his night on alcohol and talking as well.
“Whoa there. You’ve got a steel stomach.” Ravine says while sipping on some beer. She comments on the plate full of food, easily the amount of three people to share and eat. Cassandra chuckles and says, “I’m sorry, but my appetite is huge these days. Maybe cuz’ I’m growing.”
“Fair enough. But… aren’t you worried your little tummy will poke out?”
“Who cares!? I’m a Johnson! I can do anything and I’d look pretty!” Ravine jumps her eyebrows subtly at the girl’s words.
Of course.
Everyone will overlook the little tummy she gets after eating, because she is a Johnson.
Smiling, Ravine takes another sip of her beer.
She knew she could never live her life fully like her new friend.
Ravine was slightly jealous of the freedom that a Johnson gets to enjoy in her household.
She, at that moment, wanted to claim herself as a Johnson as well.
The night was filled with talent and dances. Cassandra proudly takes over the dance floor yet again. Ravine sits by the side tables, cheering for her friend.
Out of the blue, Ravine feels a hand on her shoulder.
Looking back over her shoulder, she immediately recognises the platinum band on the person’s finger.
“What do you want?”
“A minute of your life. Please.” She’s never heard him say that word.
Please…?
Alex was using such a word these days?
Scoffing, she gets up with an annoyed expression and waits for him to lead them wherever he wanted them to go. They reach the middle of the corridors, it felt so eerie at night.
“Ravine, I just wanna say that I regret behaving that way towards you. I always knew you were troubling my sister, but I see that you were being controlled by Darla. Cassandra told us everything last week.”
“Why are you acting sorry now?” She asks him.
“Acting? Ravine, I’m not acting-”
“You are. I don’t understand your point. You just wanna say sorry and nothing else, just because your sister tells you that I was being controlled? Do you even know how my life is at the moment?”
Suddenly, Ravine was opening up in front of the person she swore to never talk to ever again.
