Modest and new Cassandra

Book:The Forbidden Reverse Harem Published:2025-2-8

All the five brothers and their father look at Cassandra dress up so simple and cozy for their amusement park date as a family. They were perplexed at her stringent course of fashion directory. They could not read her, because she was the one who dressed overly fashionable even for a little cupcake or coffee shop exploration.
“What?” Her little eyebrows clink together. The Cassandra from the future had a heavy eyesight. This Cassandra was the luckiest person alive with no eyesight and such sharp yet cute facial features. Cassandra was jealous of her own reincarnation. Not that she was overly fond of getting everyone’s attention, but she was being modest and having fashion sense.
“Are you okay, Cassie? Do you feel uncomfortable?” Asks Dan as he begins to check her temperature. She swats his hand away, Zayn chuckling at them. He stood beside Cassandra as she widened her eyes. She stood so loyal to Zayn, he thought. Never letting another man touch her face even.
“N-no, I’m fine. Why do you ask?” She retorts. The boys all stare against each other whilst Framton intervenes their doubts. He chuckles loudly and hugs his daughter as tight as possible. Like an old man would.
“Ah, boys! She’s only being grounded today! She dressed appropriately! Besides, if she wore a skirt there will be malfunctions again, isn’t it dear? Being sensible and smart I see!” Framton says and encourages her sudden change of dressing style. She blinks at the old man, until Zayn wraps his arm around her shoulder and begins to support her.
“Well, she’s being calm and modest. Let’s just go to the amusement park. Papa, I still don’t believe you bought the whole amusement park for just us.”
“And a few more guests who will be joining us. Even the water park is ours for the day!” Framton announces.
‘Rich people…’ Cassandra groused in her mind. She was jealous, just a little. For Zayn, all of this was normal as he’d seen his father do the same when he was young. Except he never accompanied him to parks and restaurants. It was just him and his driver or nanny enjoying the bonuses. That made him stop socializing and he was stuck to his home for a really long time.
“Come on. Louis, Alex, take the wheel. I don’t trust anyone else can drive here except you two.” All the remaining four scorn behind their father as they enter the two cars. One was a black Mercedes while the other was a Bentley.
Cassandra sat in disdain as she thought continuously about everything.
If the reincarnated shall disappear in the future, that also means her brother will no longer exist. Louis shall not exist, rather stay alive in his old reincarnation as Louis Johnson.
As she kept pondering, she stares at the back of the male driving in the front. He was supposed to be her brother, born a while after his death in the couple of months. She felt incredibly dubious towards him, to ask for brotherly love from him which she needed from her own brother.
However she even saw similarities between the two. Both were good cooks and both were caring towards their family. She’s made the comparison about a hundred times already in two days.
“L-Louis…” Her quiet voice doesn’t even reach him over the loud sounds blasting from the car’s speaker and the brothers in the front having a long conversation. Zayn, who sat beside her taps on Louis’s shoulder to get his attention.
“Yes, yes what?” He turns to look behind for a brief second. The signal turns red as he looks at his brother and sister.
“Cassie wants to say something.” They furrow their eyebrows. Cassandra was always bold with talking and almost every time gave Louis the chokehold if he was driving. She was just plainly an amusing person.
“Yeah, Cassie?” The girl fumbles with her fingers as she looks down at her lap. Louis raises his eyebrow, she looked like a different person again.
“I was w-wondering if you could buy me some ice cream later.” She says. The three brothers in the car blink their eyes.
“O… Kay? You want another necklace and a ring? I’d say your earring collections are going down. Let’s go shopping at Tiffany’s later if-”
“No, no!” She screams in the car. Louis stares at her as if she was an alien. Normally, it would be her shouting “Yes, thank you!”
The line behind him was honking for the car to move. He blinks a couple of times and starts driving.
“I- I mean, I don’t want any more jewelery, haha! I have enough to compare!” She says to herself.
“Cool. I’ll buy you ice cream.” Says Louis. Him and Dan stare at each other who sat at the front. Zayn doesn’t miss the detail as he notes it down in his mind. It appears as though the old Cassandra and the Cassandra from his times had a stark difference in their personalities.
They might suspect easily, that kind of difference they had.
As they reach the park, Zayn excuses himself and pulls Cassandra along with him to talk to her.
“Hey, baby. I know why you said that. You wanted to see if Louis was your brother from the future, right?” She nods at him.
“I’m sorry you have to go through this. I know you’re trying your best to blend in. I’m here for anything that you wanna talk about. Okay?” Suddenly, tears start forming in her eyes.
“I miss him… I miss my brother… and- and be won’t even be there when I go home…” she says. Zayn now understood the depth of the situation.
Louis will be gone. He will become Louis Johnson than stay as Louis Sympsons. He breathes loudly as she hugs him. He hugs her back, patting her back.
Alex approaches them, he softly caresses his sister’s hair. Through gestures, he enquires what’s wrong but Zayn quietly shakes his head. Alex moves away.
Nonetheless, everyone was concerned about her.
Cassandra was concerned about Louis, her own brother.
