Lucid dreams: not controllable

Book:The Forbidden Reverse Harem Published:2025-2-8

“HAPPY NEW YEAR!!” The whole world celebrates, not too grandly but decently. A few families do not, for example the Johnsons couldn’t bring themselves to step into another new year when their father was dead.
Zayn figured his lucid dreaming could not come to an end unless he spoke with someone about it. And that someone was…
“Who’s calling me now?” The sleepy girl grabs her ringing phone in the middle of the night. The firecrackers were a distraction as she sighs over them. “Oh?”
“Hello, Cassie?” The man slowly utters.
“Hey, hi. What’s wrong?” She asks, removing all sorts of uncomfortability. Taking her spectacles, she sits against the headboard of her bed and encourages him to talk.
“What is it?” She asks again, having no response from his side.
“I-” He cuts himself off. Doubt was still lingering in his head. He couldn’t blast off his thoughts nor could he bring them to speak out.
He was in a huge dilemma.
“Baby,” The girl’s voice was soothing. Zayn felt as though he’s being draped by the finest of silks and her warmth spreading to him. Her voice was enough to calm him down, maybe in more ways than usual.
“I want you to speak your mind to me, okay? You know I never judge you nor give a bad statement. I’ll be of help, I promise.” The girl says softly. Moved by her generosity and sincerity, the man finally says.
“I’m coming down to your place. Keep the window open, will ya?” Asks the man as she smiles hugely.
“Sure.” The man doesn’t cut the call nor does she.
The man drives all the way down to her house. He didn’t care if people were following him or not, usually. But since the matter now involved Cassandra, a minor he was dating, he is willing to avoid any calamities.
“I’m here.” The man announces after ten minutes on the silenced call. Surprised, she looks out of her window and sees the headlights of a car over the wooden fence. It was indeed him who showed up, without any tails attached.
“Hi!” He waves at her, peeking over the tall fence.
“Wait a second.” Cassandra says over the phone. The man was waiting at the spot she told him to.
The girl jumps over her own window and walks out silently over the small grass patch. It hid her footsteps from being caught by either of her brother or mother. Her brother is right next door, if he was awake, he would catch her act.
But lucky for her this time, he has a girl over and they must be busy. Louis finally learned to keep it down. Cassandra was proud and relieved.
“Hey! The girl cheers, opening the main door attached to the fence. The man had a wild smile on his face. He cuts the call, letting the midget girlfriend of his grab his arm.
“Come. Quick!” She whispers at the love sick man. He was so simple.
Zayn was just happy to be there.
“Oh that runt.” She quietly curses on her brother who suddenly makes the girl in his room start moaning like a deer. The two chuckle within themselves, going past the wicked room. Thankfully, the windows to Louis’ room were closed.
“Come!” She calls, but before she could enter the window, Zayn turns her around and attaches his lips onto her. Holding her feminine jawline, he tilts his head to get the optimum of her strawberry lip balm flavored lips.
The girl couldn’t complain. She smiles into the kiss, leaning back as they both bend over the window opening. Her body was bent backwards as Zayn bend forward.
“Hi.” The man mutters, keeping the position still. His arm wound around her slim waist tightens as she whispers back a little, “Hello.”
The two hug in that abnormal position, but neither cared.
“Let’s go in before my neighbor finds out.” Says Cassandra as Zayn follows in after her. She shudders with the lack of warmth after getting detached from him. Zayn mindfully closes the window, and approaches her.
“So what did you want to talk ab-” poor Cassandra doesn’t even complete her sentence for him when Zayn pushes her into her bed. The girl let’s him kiss every inch of her face, her neck and her shoulders.
At last, he dives back in to taste the left over strawberry flavored lip balm on her lips.
“Fuck, Cassandra.” He moans.
“Yup. In a few months.” She goes along with him, joking.
“I look forward to it.”
“That’s alright. But, tell me what’s troubling you.” Cassandra asks him. Her hand was involuntarily going towards his face, caressing him.
The man settles beside her as they cuddle under the slow moving fan. It was still chilly, but Cassandra dare made her room stuffy and woke herself up without breeze touching her face. It was a general problem.
“Climb on me. Please.” The man requests before he began talking about his dreams.
“Are you having any lucid dreams where it’s just one scene repeated multiple times?” The man asks her.
“Everyday.” She responds, looking away. As he realizes, he catches ahold of her shoulders. He was upset over her not choosing to tell anything about it to him.
“Cassandra! Why didn’t you tell me?” He panics.
“Same goes to you. Did you choose to tell me either?” She questions as he falls silent.
“That’s what I thought.”
“Look, I’m not here to argue. But if you go through stuff like that again, tell me. I… I will let you know too.” She smiles softly, “Now that’s some understandable deal. So… you’re dreaming about a certain accident too?” She asks him directly as he nods.
He nods his head fervently, to express it’s a perfect match.
“It’s a couple?” She asks again, he nods the same way.
“I thought so.” Her words confuse him.
“What did you think about?”
“You know how I’m obsessed with the topic of rebirth, right?” She asks as everything was starting to become interesting for them two.
“Rebirth, huh…?” He looks at their laps. Indeed. All these symptoms lead to only one factor.
They were reincarnations.
But… of whom?
