“Did you find her yet?”
“N-not yet, ma’am. We are on our way to her address!”
“Make it faster! Someone’s wanting her to sign the contract and if we don’t win this shit, I can never be with him again! I want her fucking dead!”
“Y-yes madam!”
“Oh, crap…”
“What’s wrong?”
“There- there is someone at her house. It’s a man, he’s crying in front of her.”
“Shit!!”
“Send me a picture of them. Right now.”
“Yes ma’am.”

“Is that… Zayn?!”
Cassandra’s POV
It felt blissful to have woken up next to him and to feel his warmth around me again. The time of the year was here and I was craving for touch when he finally made his appearance.
The last night I happened to hook up with a decent Korean guy and boy did he rock my world. I always thought Asians had small chili peppers, but he was a whole-ass elephant.
I wasn’t comparing sizes, but now that I can acclaim to the world that the person I love loves me back, I felt a different kind of fuzzy stomach. The one that feels when you’re delighted, beyond happy, and close to nirvana.
I squirm a little, regrettably doing so as my new boyfriend is awake.
“Sowwy!” I say in a cute voice, knowing how much he hates it.
“It’s alright. I got a freaky dream though.” He says, kissing my shoulder.
“Hmm… what was it about?”
“That we were married and had kids and lived a long life together.” I turn to look at him. He was dreaming of our… future.
“Thank you for dreaming that. I would love to have your kids someday.” The blush creeps up on its own, I had no control over it. He chuckles and turns me around so he can climb atop me and start kissing my naked and sticky body. I felt ticklish to the point I punch his face to stop his morning-sensitive tickle torture.
“You know what?” He starts, closing us out from the world with the blanket that flows down slowly after him. “I’ll call you my fiancee to whoever asks. Isn’t that great?”
“Why would you call me your fiancee?” I ask, chuckling and kissing his nose. “Well, because you and I are better that way. Boyfriend and girlfriend is way low a standard for us.”
“We got an upgrade?” He nods his head, smiling cheekily.
If only we knew someone was looking at us through their binoculars. I told him to close everything before we get down to the dirty…
Author’s POV
“You will taste my fist if you fail this one again! Got it!?” The scary voice of the woman rescinded through the small garage. Louis was out, for a business meeting he couldn’t afford to miss. Sharon was in his penthouse, plotting how to get rid of Cassandra completely from everyone’s life.
“I miss Cassie. She used to give me excellent massages anytime I asked.”
“I miss Cassie. She was such a huge eater that I wanted to cook for her every meal. But… she only has a worse metabolism and she can’t eat much. She hurts me when she looks at me with those eyes. Her condition was so rare, she won’t even eat if her mood was slightly disturbed.”
“I miss Cassie…”
“I miss her…”
It was sickening for Sharon. Even if Cassandra wasn’t even around, she was controlling Louis in every aspect. The recent days, all that she heard was about him yapping and crying at Cassandra. Now that Zayn betrayed them and lost all connection, the boys were desperate.
That desperation caused Sr. Johnson to escape away from New York and go to Paris. He certainly mentioned it was for business, but the public doesn’t know the real reason.
Sharon has been planning to get rid of Cassandra as soon as possible. Even before she thought of sending her away to a different country. She wanted her dead. Her corpse was so cold that the boys and anyone who knew Cassandra will refrain from talking about her every chance they get.
Even Ravine was missing Cassandra.
The last day Cassandra attended school as her alter-ego was when Ravine developed this bond with her. Ravine knew some of Sharon’s conspiracy, but she couldn’t guess Sharon was going to such lengths just to have Louis’ attention all onto herself.
Alex and Ravine, however, have been doing better now.
As Cassandra was out of the picture, Alex turned to Ravine for all support and she was giving all of that happily to the young man. His final selection round was coming up. He needed to represent the college as Sr. Johnson’s son and as the top football player in the upcoming inter-campus event.
As for Dan and Nick, they have been quiet all this while. It was as though they were affected the least of all. Carrying on with their daily hunts, they were distracted enough to bother themselves about their family members who showed them their cowardly moves.
All down to one.
Sr. Johnson wouldn’t stop worrying for either of his son and daughter. When Cassandra summarized everything that went on between them that day, he almost threw up in disgust and distaste. He was not aware of such atrociousness being played by his children.
Through all these, he grew anxious- severely anxious about his business.
What if the media got to know about my family and their secrets? What if someone leaked everything to the media? What about my huge estates and- and business…?
These thoughts were circulating in his head like wheels. One after the other and there seemed no stopping.
Due course of time, even the Parisian weather was unable to heal the man as he kept deteriorating with his thoughts. The ol’ man was stressed and often fell unwell.
And of course, none of his children were informed about it.
As for Sharon, she sits on the couch and taps on the armrest because she was being worried about this mission assigned.
It will be done tomorrow in daylight. In the streets.
Cassandra’s POV
I didn’t tell him about a probable fatal crash I almost got into yesterday. He told me he stayed at a hotel for one day, waiting to confirm if he was truly wanting to follow me or not.
The crash injured three pedestrians, critically. I happened to be right behind them when this happened and it shocked to me the core. I was hyperventilating, among the few other spectators who were around. The paramedics quickly arrived and the driver who crashed in was arrested for good. Turns out he wasn’t drunk but was out for something else.
I was such a fool. I didn’t know the goal was me but fate brought me to where I am now.
Nonetheless, it was a blow to my weak heart and I still have goosebumps covering my skin just thinking about it.
I was such a fool…
