The police who were astonished when they saw him inside the house that they could not penetrate, got out of their vehicles at once and ran towards the window. They attempted to open the parlor door but could not.
“Go through the back door,” Arthur advised them.
Just like lightning, they were inside the house.
“What happened, Mr. Bailey? How did you get in?”
“Where is the janitor?” The two police officers asked in a mad rush.
“Come this way,” He ordered them and led them to the room where the lifeless body of Zoey was.
“What?” They screamed in unison.
One of them brought out hand gloves from his pocket, put them on, and checked her pulse. He looked at his colleague assuredly.
“She can make it,” he informed him.
They took photographs that were vital to them, picked her up, and left.
Then, Arthur gave Phil the car keys and advised him, “Take. Drive my wife’s car. Let us go.”
“It is okay, Father.”
Now, the police walked back to the front yard, with one of them carrying a lifeless woman who looked like the wife of the disgruntled Oscar. He switched off his ignition and got out of his car.
Then, he walked up to the policemen in trepidation and asked them many questions at once with a shaky voice, “Who is she? Is she my wife? Where was she?”
He had many questions to ask but could not and no one was in the mood to give him the answer he needed. The police carefully laid Zoey on the back seat and got into the car.
“Where are we going?” Arthur asked one of the police officers.
“We are taking her to the government hospital. You can return to your house. We will send for you if we need you.”
“Arthur, what is going on? Talk to me, please,” Oscar asked him
Arthur gave him a ray of hope with his response, “You can go to the hospital with them. She will be fine.”
Those were the encouraging words that he needed to hear to keep his sanity. He quickly got back to his car and followed the police van from behind. While Phil drove behind his father-in-law.
‘How would I have coped if it was my Nichole that Stephen abducted? Does it mean that he raped Zoey and abandoned her?’
Those thoughts and more were seeking attention from Arthur as he drove to the spot they took Louis to when he was distressed. Phil parked beside him and got out of his car at once.
He walked to him and asked, “What are we getting, Father?”
“Get any good delicacy. Take the cash.”
“It is all right, Father.”
He collected the cash and walked to the delicacies stand. He was confused in making his choice as he had a variety of them. Afterward, he bought whatever that attracted him.
Then, he returned to the car park and said, “I have bought it, Father,” and handed it over to him.
“Wow. The aroma is tantalizing.”
“Yes. I’m sure they will like it.”
Later, he got into his car, and they left for home
At The Bailey Native Home
Phil drove into the estate followed by Arthur. The security guards, who were not aware of the abduction, were stunned when they saw Phil, who left in the company of their boss, returning with Nichole’s dusty car.
“Maybe they took the car for servicing yesterday,” one of the security guards pointed out.
“Servicing?” The other retorted in wonderment.
They arrived at Arthur’s Apartment and parked in the garage.
“Wow!” Daniel said and collected the delicacies from him.
“Welcome back, Grandpa. Welcome back, Dad. The delicacies smell good.” he announced.
“Welcome, Hubby,” Nichole greeted him and hugged him.
“Thank you, dear.”
“Welcome back, Father.”
Now, Phil sat beside his wife and gave her a peck. They had their delicacies and popped champagne at the unplanned eventful occasion.
“Cheers. Let us raise our glasses to Mom and Father on this memorable day of their lives. To the bride and groom, we wish you unending love, good health, more wealth, God’s guidance, and safety. Above all, we wish you everything you could ever think of. Cheers.”
They clink their glasses joyously. Later, they had their dinner.
“Thank you, Phil, I will keep in touch,” Arthur stated.
“It is all right, Father, I am waiting.”
“Good night, Father. Good night Mom.”
“Good night Daniel.”
After the greetings, they departed.
In The Bedroom.
Nichole was ecstatically in love that day. The lives of women and men will always be different. While her husband was battling with how to protect her, she was as free as a bird, oblivious to the danger that was lurking around the corner. How would Arthur explain that he was not in the right frame of mind to grant her conjugal right?
However, in the bathroom, while they were stark naked, Arthur admired her as though he was seeing her for the first time. While Nichole was busy flirting around him, he was imagining many things.
‘So, this is what Stephen wanted to have a taste of?’ The thought of ownership and dominance sent energy to his brain, which transferred to his manhood.
He sat on the bathtub, pulled Nichole to himself, and gave her a deep kiss. He released her afterward, made her sit on his lap, and backed him. She adjusted herself and pushed his manhood into her before she began to ride joyously.
To Arthur, that was an opportunity to show supremacy over Stephen and his likes. Then, he began thrusting in and out of her and muttering how he felt.
“Nichole, you are mine, you belonged to me, I own you, I love you…”
“Yes, I am yours. You are too good. Give it to me, please.”
It was a case of you are mine, and I am the only one that can bed you. They pleasured each other on their first night as a legally married couple. Then, they settled down on their bed afterward. To be on the safer side, Arthur had to put Nichole in the picture of the events that took place between Saturday and that day. Then, he began on a light note.
