He was rolling happily on the bed and pleased with himself. Then, he remembered the trip to the airport and sent a message that was more officious than romantic to his new-found love.
(Nichole. We are leaving by 6 AM. I would like you to put on fitted jeans and a body hug turtleneck. I prefer bright colors, please. Arthur.)
After he sent the message, he called Louis’s line, but it was still not reachable.
“What could be the cause of Louis’ behavior?” He thought for a while before he switched off his light and went to sleep.
At Mrs. Bailey’s Apartment
She was still holding her phone after she called Louis when a message hit her phone.
(Ding)
She read through it and the only thing she could say was, “Cow!”
She turned off her light and went to sleep as well.
In The Morning.
She was up at 5 AM and began to prepare for the trip to the Airport. She took her time to dress to her heart’s desires and drove to Arthur’s Apartment. Likewise, she got there a few minutes before 6 O’clock and Arthur and Julie were already at the veranda. Furthermore, she parked and got out of her car with a somber face. Julie, who was about to greet her, opened her mouth in astonishment and thought.
‘Could it be Louis’ disappearance that would make Mom look like this?’
She greeted her all the same, “Good morning, Mom. ”
She responded with gloominess, “Good morning, Julie. I hope you slept tight?”
“Yes, Mom. And you?”
“I’m fine. Thank you.”
“Good morning, Mr. Bailey,” she greeted him without interest.
Arthur gave her a desultory response and walked to his car without responding to her greetings. Julie followed him at once with her luggage. The janitor helped her with the other ones into the trunk and covered it. She got into the backseat while Nichole got into the passenger’s seat and Arthur drove off.
However, instead of driving to the gate, he veered off towards Nichole’s apartment.
Then, Julie, who was dismayed, at the odd behaviors of his parents, asked. “Father, where are we going? You veered off.”
At that point, he was in front of her house and pulled up. He looked at Julie and responded, “Yes so that she can change before I am accused of abducting a beggar. Unless she wants you to miss your flight.”
Without argument, Nichole opened the door and ran into her apartment. While Julie burst into raucous laughter. That was the only time she laughed heartily since the news of Louis’ disappearance.
Nichole hurriedly dressed up and joined them in the car. Then, Julie, who was still laughing, said, “Better. Mom, you scared me. Could it be Louis’ disappearance that made you dress like that? Don’t be hard on yourself. He will be fine.”
“Thank you for your concern, Julie,” she responded helplessly.
They drove silently until Julie slept off on the way and the bickering adults could not find anything to discuss. After one hour and twenty minutes, they were at the airport.
“Julie, wake up. We are here,” Nichole said and tapped her.
She woke up at once and with her sleepy eyes, said, “Oh! So fast?”
“Yes. It is past seven. Go and check in.”
“It is okay, Mom.”
She did as her Mom instructed her while Arthur looked on.
After Julie boarded, Arthur walked to Nichole, who was waiting in the lobby and informed her, “Excuse me, Nichole. I want to verify Louis’ movement.”
He was not expecting her to respond, so he did not wait for any. He walked to the information desk and laid his complaints and he was attended to. Likewise, he discovered that Louis landed at Cairo Airport at 7:15 PM the previous day.
“That is good to know. Thank you, for updating me,” he appreciated the desk officer.
“You are welcome, Mr. Bailey,” the officer responded
He walked back to the lobby where Nichole was supposed to be waiting, but she had disappeared.
At The Island
Denise woke up in the morning, his first morning as a married man, and looked at his wife, who was sleeping peacefully beside him and smiled.
“It is just like a fairy tale. Thank you, God, for giving me an Angel,” he said and got up from the bed.
His movement disturbed her sleep, and she opened her eyes slowly. Denise fixed his gaze on her and admired her beautiful face.
Likewise, he gave her a peck and greeted, “Good morning, my Angel.”
Olivia, who was fully awake, responded shyly, “Good morning, my husband.”
She sat up from the bed and rested her head on the backrest.
Denise got out of bed and asked her, “What would you like to have for breakfast? I want to order for it.”
After observing his bare body, she gave him a loving look and said, “I don’t want the walls to hear what I would like to eat. Come, I will whisper to you.”
Without suspecting anything, he bent his head towards her head to hear her. She cupped his face with her two hands and gave him a passionate kiss. Denise sat back on the bed and cooperated.
Then, she whispered, “I would love to have you for breakfast, my husband.”
Olivia was craving and that gave Denise a boost. He looked into her eyes and inquired, “Did I make you happy on our first night?”
“You did, and I want more of you.”
He cooperated and satisfied her cravings and she went back to sleep. When the breakfast was set, he tapped her and tried to persuade her, “Wake up and have your breakfast. It is 9 AM. You can go back to sleep later.”
It is all right, Hubby,” she said and tried to cover up her body with the bedsheet before getting up.
The amused Denise asked her, “What are you trying to do? Cover up yourself?” @
Olivia was surprised and smiled while Denise continued, “Remember that it is a sixty-day honeymoon. No covering and no shyness.”
Before she could respond, he had peeled the bedsheet off her body, and she squirmed. In her nude, Denise carried to the bathroom and laid her on the hot tub before he joined her.
“Don’t be shy before me. Did you get me?” He made it clear.
“Yes, Hubby,” she answered happily.
“That is good. I will take you around the island later for a horse ride. You will like it.”
“Okay, Hubby.”
After their bath, they got out of the bathroom and had their first breakfast as a couple.
At the Airport
“Ha?!” Arthur exclaimed in despair.
It was not his domain, for that, he could not do much. It occurred to him that the only weapon that he had against her was the children. Now, they were far away, and he was bare.
‘How do I trace this woman?’ He muttered in despondency before he attempted to call her, but decided against it.
