As soon as Mr. Reynolds arrived, Madison quickly stepped forward to greet him.
“Mr. Reynolds!”
“Mrs. Jones!”
Mr. Reynolds, who had good relations with the Jones family, approached when he heard Madison call out to him.
“Mrs. Jones, is there something you need help with?”
“Mr. Reynolds, you don’t know, but a woman has been trying to seduce my husband, and now she’s here in the same store, fighting with me over clothes. I want her banned from this mall and kicked out immediately! I don’t want to see her for another second!”
“Oh? Which woman?” Mr. Reynolds asked.
“That woman over there!” Madison pointed towards Caitlin.
Mr. Reynolds immediately waved his hand. “Please escort this woman out!”
“Yes, sir!”
A few security guards quickly stormed into the store. Madison and Yasmin looked on with smug expressions.
The security guards approached Caitlin and said in a harsh tone, “Miss, please leave Queen11 right now!”
Caitlin turned to face them, her expression cold.
“Kick me out? Why?”
“This is Mr. Reynolds’ order! You’ve been blacklisted, and Queen11 no longer welcomes you! Please leave immediately!”
The guards emphasized their point, preparing to force her out.
Caitlin and Wendy both glanced toward the door and saw Madison talking to a well-dressed man. Caitlin recognized him as Mr. Reynolds, the owner of Queen11. It seemed that Madison was using her connection to him to try and get rid of her.
Wendy, worried about causing Caitlin more trouble, quietly tugged at her sleeve.
“Caitlin, let’s just leave, we can go somewhere else.”
“No, I’m not leaving today. What can they do to me?” Caitlin said as she walked toward the door and looked directly at Madison and Mr. Reynolds.
“You want to kick me out? What law have I broken? Why can’t I be here?”
Mr. Reynolds took a moment to size Caitlin up. He thought she was attractive, but she had the audacity to ruin someone else’s family by playing the mistress. What a shame.
“Sorry, miss, but you’ve offended my friend, so I must ask you to leave,” Mr. Reynolds said.
Madison added, “And make sure she’s blacklisted so she never sets foot here again!”
Mr. Reynolds immediately ordered his assistant, “Put this woman on the blacklist and ban her from ever entering Queen11 again!”
“Yes, sir!” The assistant responded loudly, ready to take action.
“Hold on!”
Caitlin stopped them before they could move forward. She then turned to Mr. Reynolds with a confident smile.
“Mr. Reynolds, if you apologize now, it’s not too late. If not, you’ll regret making this decision.”
Hearing her bold words, Mr. Reynolds laughed. “Who doesn’t know me, Henry Reynolds, in all of New York? Nobody dares to talk to me like that!”
Madison and Yasmin exchanged smug glances.
“Come on, Caitlin, just leave already!”
Caitlin’s lips curled into a cold, confident smile. “Give me one minute, and I’ll have you on your knees begging me to stay.”
Mr. Reynolds sneered, “A minute? What are you going to do in that time?”
Madison fanned the flames, “Mr. Reynolds, don’t waste time with her. She’s just stalling!”
“Bring her out!”
Mr. Reynolds was growing impatient and quickly waved for the guards to act. But just then, his phone rang.
He saw the name on the caller ID and was instantly stunned.
“Wait, I need to take an important call!” Henry turned around respectfully and answered the phone.
“Hello, Mr. Gray! Yes, yes, how are you?”
Mr. Reynolds was nodding and bowing in deference. The caller was clearly someone with great authority.
As Mr. Reynolds listened to the voice on the other end, his smile froze, replaced by an expression of shock and disbelief.
He slowly turned to look at Caitlin, his face suddenly contorted with discomfort.
“Oh… I understand… Yes, I know… I’m sorry, I’m so sorry! Please, give me another chance!”
“Don’t say I didn’t warn you, Henry. Caitlin is not someone you can offend. You’d better apologize to her, or not even the gods will be able to save you!”
The voice on the other end of the line spoke coldly before the call abruptly ended.
Henry turned back to Caitlin, his face now pale with fear, his body covered in cold sweat. He knew he had crossed the line by offending someone with far more power than he could have imagined. Mr. Gray was involved!
Henry realized now that Caitlin had far-reaching connections-Mr. Gray had stepped in on her behalf, and if he didn’t apologize, his business and future were on the line.
“Please, Caitlin… I’m sorry… I was blind, I didn’t know who you were. Please forgive me!” Henry pleaded.
Madison and Yasmin were both stunned. They had assumed that Mr. Gray would hold a grudge against Caitlin after the incident with Audrey, but instead, he had stepped in to protect her. How could this be?
Both women were left speechless as they watched Henry groveling, completely abandoning his earlier arrogance.
Caitlin glanced at him coldly, a smug smile playing on her lips. “Mr. Reynolds, didn’t you just say you were going to kick me out? And blacklist me?”
“I’m sorry, I didn’t realize it was you, Caitlin.”
Henry’s tone had completely changed. He was now desperate and humble, his earlier pride nowhere to be found.
“I was wrong, please forgive me! To make up for it, I can give you a lifetime VIP card for free. You can shop here without limits!”
“I don’t need that. Soon enough, Queen11 won’t even be yours. You no longer have the right to make such offers.”
As Caitlin spoke, Henry panicked even more. He was afraid that Caitlin would report him to Mr. Gray, leading to the loss of his entire empire.
“Please, Caitlin, I beg you! I know I’ve made a mistake, please give me a way out!”
