The following day, the groups dispersed to execute the mission Lucas had meticulously planned to bring down the Costa Familia.
Meanwhile, Lucas led a team to the main villa of the Costa Familia, accompanied by Lion, Tiger, One Eye’s men, Jose, and Vladimir. There would be no assistance from the Sicilian Familia this time, as Lucas had instructed Lorenzo and Ricardo to create a diversion with the smaller businesses not directly linked to the Sicilian Familia.
Inside the Costa Familia villa, Don Ramon sat with a dark expression, contemplating the recent events and struggling to address the shortcomings. Their cash flow continued to leak, and despite their primary sources remaining intact, the Don’s face was clouded with anger at the audacity of someone sabotaging their operations right under his nose.
“What’s the status with the Gallo Familia?” Don Ramon asked, his voice tense.
A henchman replied, “No changes in their cash flow, Don. The money is coming in as usual.”
Don Ramon frowned, suspicion evident in his eyes. “I thought the Gallo Familia might be involved. They’ve long wanted to surpass us.”
The henchman shook his head. “No, Don. There’s nothing unusual happening with the Gallo Familia.”
At that moment, a man burst into the room, panic etched on his face. “Don, intruders have entered the villa! There’s chaos outside, and our men are engaged in a fierce battle.”
Don Ramon’s expression darkened further at the news. He stood abruptly, his steps heavy as he marched out, ready to confront the threat head-on.
….
Outside, when you entered the villa’s gates, chaos unfolded. Lucas’s group stood calmly, allowing One Eye’s men to play with the Costa Familia’s mafia members. Despite their skills, the Costa Familia’s men were no match for One Eye’s team, who had undergone intense, rigorous training.
In the midst of the melee, One Eye’s men moved with precision and purpose. One fighter disarmed a mafia member with a swift twist of the wrist, following up with a powerful elbow strike that sent the opponent sprawling to the ground. Another expertly dodged a knife attack, countering with a series of rapid punches that left his adversary dazed and unable to continue.
The battle was fierce and dynamic. One Eye’s men used their surroundings to their advantage, bouncing off walls and using furniture as shields. They employed a mix of martial arts techniques, seamlessly transitioning from one move to the next, overwhelming the Costa Familia’s members with their speed and agility.
One of the men executed a flawless roundhouse kick, knocking a weapon out of a mafia member’s hand, while another used a grappling technique to subdue an opponent, pinning him to the ground with ease. The sound of fists meeting flesh and the clatter of weapons echoed through the courtyard.
As the skirmish continued, Lucas and his leaders watched intently, their eyes scanning the scene, waiting for the main figures of the Costa Familia to emerge.
At that moment, Don Ramon emerged, stunned by the scene before him. He was taken aback by the chaos and shocked to see his men utterly overpowered. Lucas smiled upon seeing him, then glanced at One Eye and nodded. One Eye returned the nod and clapped his hands, signaling his men to stop playing.
Jose and Vlad walked toward Don Ramon. Vlad looked Don Ramon up and down before speaking. “It’s been a long time since I’ve seen the dashing and proud dog of the Sicilian Familia.”
Jose added with a mocking tone, “Seems like the mighty have fallen, haven’t they?”
Don Ramon, regaining some composure, asked, “Who are you?”
Vlad introduced himself with a smirk, “I am the Don of the Mercado Familia, Vladimir.”
“And I,” Jose continued, “am the Don of the Abate Familia, Jose.”
Don Ramon sneered upon hearing their names. “Ah, from the weakling families, the ones who fell out of favor with the Sicilian Familia for being useless and insignificant.”
He taunted them, seemingly forgetting the fate of his men just moments ago. “You think you can stand against the Costa Familia? You’re nothing but remnants of a failed legacy.”
Jose laughed, pointing at Don Ramon’s men. “Is this what you boast about, Don Ramon? Your so-called mighty members?”
Vlad chimed in, “Are these the ones you pride yourself on?”
Unfazed, Don Ramon retorted, “You two had to bring in outsiders to do your dirty work. You have no real strength of your own.”
Vlad shook his head, “You’re mistaken, Don Ramon.”
Jose added, “We’re part of a powerful alliance now.”
Don Ramon chuckled derisively, “An alliance? An alliance of flies, perhaps? No matter how many small flies gather, they remain flies, incapable of harming a giant like my Costa Familia.”
The exchange continued, each side trying to outdo the other with their taunts. Don Ramon, confident in his family’s legacy, refused to acknowledge the threat before him. Meanwhile, Vlad and Jose remained composed, knowing they had the upper hand.
Finally, Vlad spoke with a peculiar smile, “We can’t say for sure whether the Costa Familia will fall, can we?”
Don Ramon furrowed his brow, sensing a hint in Vlad’s words. “What do you mean by that?” he asked.
Vlad shrugged, “Who knows?” he replied, while Jose smiled mysteriously.
Suddenly, Don Ramon realized something was amiss. At that moment, his phone rang. He glanced at the caller ID, hesitating before answering. Vlad taunted, “You should answer it. It might be urgent, or perhaps something unfortunate has happened.”
A sense of unease crept over Don Ramon, but he answered the call. “Hello?” he said, only to hear chaos on the other end. A voice from his men shouted, “It’s not good, Don! We’re under attack by unknown people, and they’re strong!”
The call ended abruptly with a scream. His phone rang again, and he answered, hearing the same chaotic scene. Fear gripped him as he realized something was terribly wrong. Two more calls came in, each echoing the same scenario, leaving him terrified.
He looked at Jose and Vlad, who stood grinning before him. “Who are you?” he asked again, this time with fear and anxiety in his voice. Four of his main businesses had fallen, and each call came from the leaders of those businesses.
