As the days turned into weeks, Julyan continued his work, handling the company’s operations by day and managing shipments by night. He had gathered all the information he needed, and the time for pretense was over. Nearly a month had passed since he started this mission, and it was time to bring it to a close.
Julyan sat alone in his office, glancing around cautiously before tapping the small device in his ear to connect the call to Rico. “Rico, it’s time to bring down the trading company,” he said once the connection was made.
On the other end, Rico, Lion, and Tiger listened intently. “What’s your plan?” Rico asked, eager to hear the next steps.
“I’ve memorized the route of the large ship used to smuggle drugs and contraband,” Julyan explained. “We’ll have some of our men pose as pirates and attack the ship along its route before it docks. If we succeed, it will disrupt their supply chain.”
Lion agreed, “That’s a solid plan, Julyan. But what if they have a backup plan?”
Julyan smiled, “We have another step. While they’re distracted by the attack, we’ll have insiders destroy the documents and records of their illegal transactions. Without records, they’ll struggle to continue.”
Tiger hesitated, “It’s not that easy. What if the exporting doesn’t stop?”
Julyan nodded, “If they still don’t stop, we have one more move. We’ll leak information to the authorities about their shipments. Once they’re raided, their operations will surely come to a halt.”
Rico thought for a moment before speaking, “Your plan sounds solid, Julyan. We just need to make sure there’s no room for error.”
Julyan leaned back in his chair, speaking into the device, “Tomorrow night, have our men ready at the location I’ll send you. That’s the route the ship will take. Prepare a vessel to intercept and steal their cargo. The customers will be furious when their items go missing, which makes this a strategic move. As for the insider, don’t worry, I’ve got it covered. I’ve already stationed people there. That’s where they hide additional cargo and documents. We likely won’t even need to reach step three.”
The three listened carefully, and Tiger finally agreed, “Alright, I’ll get the men ready to pose as pirates for tomorrow.”
Pleased, Julyan remembered something, “By the way, how’s the real David Hawk doing?” he asked with a grin.
Tiger turned slightly, “He’s fine, currently playing cards with some of the crew,” then he recalled something, “This guy, he unexpectedly has information about the Costa Familia.”
Julyan’s interest piqued, “What kind of information?”
Tiger smiled, “He mentioned something heavy about the Costa Familia, something that could lead them to their downfall. Apparently, the Costa Familia is connected to his former workplace at a trading company in London. He overheard his boss discussing it, though he didn’t know the other party involved, just the name Costa Familia.”
Julyan chuckled, “Once this mission is over, let him head to the Dragon’s Gate,” he said, showing a menacing smile.
Tiger, aware of Julyan’s plan, quickly agreed. After the call, Julyan contacted three gang bosses, instructing them to meet him at the club. The three promptly agreed and gathered there. After the call, Julyan stood up from his seat, walked out of his office, and headed to the club. Upon his arrival, the three gang bosses were already present. They stood up and greeted him respectfully in unison, “Boss!”
Julyan nodded and took a seat in front of them. “I need you to pose as bandits,” he began, “Disguise yourselves so you won’t be recognized. Tomorrow night, I’ll provide you with a location rich with treasures. But first, you need to destroy the documents and secure the items temporarily before selling them.”
The three bosses, intrigued, leaned in closer. The first boss, with deep-set eyes, asked, “What kind of documents are we talking about?”
Julyan smiled mysteriously, “You’ll find out tomorrow. But trust me, they’re valuable.”
The second boss, known as Baldy, inquired, “And what exactly are we targeting?”
Julyan’s grin widened, “You’ll see. I’ll send you the location early, but wait for my signal before you make a move.”
The third boss, with a distinctive beard, nodded, “And what about the treasures? How do we handle them?”
“Secure them first,” Julyan instructed, “Then we’ll discuss the sale. Timing is crucial.”
The first boss, with his deep-set eyes, leaned forward, “So, Julyan, how do we ensure no one traces this back to us?”
Julyan replied smoothly, “That’s why the disguises are crucial. Make sure your men are unrecognizable. And remember, the key is to move quickly and efficiently.”
Baldy, scratched his head, “And what about the security at the location? Are we expecting any resistance?”
Julyan nodded, “There might be some, but nothing you can’t handle. I’ve arranged for a distraction to keep most of the guards occupied. Just stick to the plan.”
The third boss, stroking his beard thoughtfully, asked, “And the signal? How will we know when to move?”
“I’ll send a message through the usual channel,” Julyan assured them. “Once you receive it, that’s your cue.”
The bosses exchanged glances, clearly impressed by the thoroughness of the plan. The first boss spoke again, “And the treasures? How do we split them?”
Julyan leaned back, a slight smirk on his face. “I don’t need the treasures,” he said, his voice calm and assured. “All I want is for you to take the wealth and do as you please with it. Just make sure you destroy all the papers and documents. That’s the priority.”
Baldy raised an eyebrow, “You’re not taking a cut? What’s in it for you, then?”
Julyan chuckled softly, “Let’s just say I have my reasons. The downfall of certain people is worth more to me than any treasure.”
The bearded boss nodded, understanding the unspoken implications. “Alright, but what if we run into unexpected trouble? Any backup plans?”
“Stick to the plan, and you shouldn’t need one,” Julyan replied. “But if things go south, I’ve arranged for a safe house nearby. You can regroup there.”
The first boss, still curious, asked, “And what about the authorities? Any chance they’ll catch wind of this?”
Julyan shook his head, “I’ve taken care of that. Let’s just say some key people have been… distracted. You won’t have to worry about them.”
The bosses seemed satisfied, but Baldy had one last question, “And after this? What’s next for us?”
Julyan’s eyes glinted with a hint of mystery, “Let’s focus on tomorrow first. But rest assured, there will be more opportunities if this goes well.”
With that, the conversation began to wind down. The bosses, feeling confident and eager, nodded in agreement. “Alright, we’re ready,” the bearded boss said, speaking for the group.
“Good,” Julyan replied, standing up. “Remember, timing is everything. Make sure everything goes according to plan.”
The three bosses stood up in unison, responding with a firm, “Boss! Yes! Boss.”
Julyan smiled, satisfied with their resolve, and instructed, “Move quickly and prepare your men.”
Once again, the three bosses replied in unison, their voices filled with determination, before turning to leave the club. As they exited, Julyan watched them go, a chilling smile spreading across his face as he stared at the door through which they had just departed.
