Tiger answered the call, “Oh, Julyan, what’s the news on your side?”
“Tiger,” Julyan began cautiously. “I’ve got the full rundown of the Gallo Familia’s plans. The Don and Consigliere are planning to limit information flow and plant false intel to catch the mole. They’re also looking to secure new locations for their cash flow and diversify their fronts.”
Tiger listened carefully, then chuckled. “Don’t worry, they won’t gain anything. We’re taking a break and won’t make any moves for now. Keep me updated on what’s happening over there.”
“Alright, Mr. Tiger, I’ll hang up now before anyone sees me. Just pass the news to Vlad,” Julyan said before ending the call.
Lion turned to Tiger, curious. “What did Julyan say?”
Tiger recapped the conversation. “He said the Gallo Familia is trying to tighten their operations and plant false intel to catch the mole. They’re also securing new locations for their cash flow.”
Lion laughed, “They’re looking for the mole? They have no idea he’s right under their noses.”
The man who called was none other than the first man who entered to report about the Ice Factory and other businesses of the Gallo Family, or Julyan, one of Vlad’s friends in the Gallo Family, a member of the Gallo Family, and one of the soldiers who did not agree with Don’s puppet-like submission to the Sicilian Family. So when he learned Vlad’s plan, he joined forces and gave all the inside information he knew to Vladimir, so they found out what buildings they needed to target.
Tiger joined in the laughter. “Let them be. We’ve got the information we need. We just need to report this to the bosses.”
Lion nodded. “Let’s go, they need to know about this,” he said as they turned to leave.
“Wait, what about me?” Mr. Gray suddenly asked, seeing the two preparing to leave.
Tiger turned back to him. “Stay here. It’s not safe for you outside. The news has likely reached the Gallo Familia, and they’ll be looking for you. If I’m not mistaken, they won’t hesitate to kill you if they find you, marking you as a traitor after being captured by the enemy. Remember, you’re just a low-level puppet, you know what I mean.”
“In other words, you’re just a disposable human,” Lion added.
Mr. Gray realized the truth in their words, feeling a chill run down his spine. He remained silent, understanding the gravity of his situation. Tiger smirked at Mr. Gray’s reaction before leaving the room with Lion.
Aside from Abate and the Mercado Familia’s people, everyone present was under One Eye’s command and were trustworthy. The people serving food were workers from Lucio’s tavern. Lucas had requested them from Lucio to temporarily work in this place as cooks, as they couldn’t bring in outsiders. Lucio readily agreed and sent some of his cooks to work for Lucas.
After Lion and Tiger stepped out, they immediately reported the situation to Lorenzo. “Boss,” Tiger began, “we’ve got the information from Julyan. The Gallo Familia is trying to tighten their operations and spread false intel to catch the mole, also we obtained all the documents as you instructed.”
Lorenzo nodded thoughtfully. “Review all the documents; let’s target the low-level operatives involved in their illegal drug trade. We need to irritate the person behind all this. I know you have an idea where to find this person, but it’s better to trim the branches before cutting off the head.”
After the call, Lion laid out all the documents they had gathered. He and Tiger sat at the table and began their discussion.
“We have six targets,” Lion said, flipping through the documents. “Besides selling illegal drugs, they’re also involved in rape and murder of innocent people.”
“The audacity of these people,” Tiger said angrily. “They’re not from Italy and have protection from other countries. That’s why the Italian law can’t easily act against them due to lack of solid evidence.”
Lion nodded, formulating a plan. “We should strike at night and sometimes in the morning. We’ll create a random pattern so they can’t predict our next move.”
“These foreigners are bold,” Tiger continued, “because of their protection. But I can’t accept that they’ve raped and killed innocent people from our own country.”
Lion calmed him down. “We need to plan this carefully. Don’t worry, we’ll crush these foreigners with our own hands.”
Their conversation continued as they meticulously planned their next steps. They analyzed the locations of their targets, their movements, and possible escape routes. They knew they had to be cautious, especially with the Gallo Familia actively searching.
“The key here is unpredictability,” Lion said. “We need to think like predators; they shouldn’t know when and where we’ll strike next.”
“Yes,” Tiger agreed, “and when the time is right, we’ll make sure none of them escape.”
The two continued their discussion late into the night, meticulously crafting a plan that would ensure success. Once they were confident in their strategy, they stepped out to present it to the Mercado and Abate crew.
The villa, with its expansive grounds, was the perfect place for their training sessions. It consisted of three large villas, providing ample space for everyone to practice and refine their tactics. Being situated on a private property, it offered a safe and discreet location for their operations.
Over the next few days, the crew engaged in intensive training, honing their skills and improving their coordination. The synergy between the Mercado and Abate Familia grew stronger, their movements becoming as synchronized as a well-rehearsed dance. By the end of two weeks, they had become a unified force, ready to take on any challenge.
On the morning of the operation, Tiger and Lion gathered everyone in front of the villa. “Alright, everyone, listen up,” Tiger began, his voice commanding attention. “Today, we put all our training to the test. Our target is a compound, and we need to move quickly and efficiently before the enemy gets wind of our actions.”
Lion stepped forward, his expression serious. “Our targets are the small foreign operatives involved in illegal activities in our country, all connected to the Gallo Familia. These ringleaders operate with impunity because the Gallo Familia cleans up their mess and protects them. They commit crimes and illegal activities freely, and it’s time we put an end to it.”
One of the crew members, Marco, raised his hand. “What kind of resistance are we expecting?”
“Good question,” Tiger replied. “We anticipate armed guards and possibly some reinforcements from the Gallo Familia. That’s why your coordination and quick thinking are crucial.”
The leader of The Iron Wolves, Diego, chimed in, “And what about the civilians? Are there any in the area?”
Lion nodded. “We’ve identified a few, but our intel suggests they are minimal. Our priority is to avoid collateral damage. We need to be precise and efficient.”
The crew murmured in agreement, their determination palpable. They were ready to take on the challenge, fueled by the injustices they had witnessed.
“Remember,” Tiger continued, “these people have been operating under the radar, thinking they’re untouchable. But today, we show them that their actions have consequences.”
Lion added, “We need to be smart and strategic. Use the element of surprise to our advantage. And most importantly, watch each other’s backs.”
The crew nodded, their resolve strengthened by the words of their leaders. The crew knew the risks, but they also knew the importance of their mission.
