“We cannot act impulsively towards women, but it’s different with men. His influence is only in Rome, one by one cut his connections in Rome and bring down his business,” Don said.
“Yes, Don!” Gino replied, “What will be done to the woman pretending?” he asked.
“Dispatch her,” Don calmly said.
Gino nodded respectfully before leaving. He returned to where Johanna was being guarded by two men, “Release her,” he ordered his men.
Johanna brightened up, “Are you releasing me?!” she hurriedly approached Gino.
Gino was disgusted after seeing Johanna, but he smiled a strange smile, “Yes, you will be freed.”
Johanna was happy to hear that she was going to be freed, she breathed a sigh of relief at the thought of being able to see the outside world again. Gino smiled as he saw Johanna’s joyful face, he looked at the two men and nodded. One man took out a black cloth and blindfolded Johanna.
“What is this?!” Johanna exclaimed in surprise as she was suddenly blindfolded.
“Just relax, you cannot know where this place is,” Gino said.
Johanna calmed down before nodding, thinking that they might be afraid she would report them to the police and get them caught. Revenge was no longer important to Johanna, she just wanted to leave this place as soon as possible.
She walked out guided by the two men before being put into a car, the car drove for a few minutes before stopping. Johanna was happy because she knew she was in the city now, but when the black cloth was removed from her eyes, she was shocked to see only tall grass and large trees in the area.
“Where is this? Why did you bring me here?” Johanna asked in confusion.
The two men did not answer, one man pulled out a gun, “Let’s play a game, run as far as you want, if you escape my bullet, you will live. If not, this will be your burial ground,” he laughed wildly and pointed the gun at Johanna.
Johanna panicked, without thinking she ran into the tall grass.
“Keep running,” the man shouted while laughing.
Moments later, Johanna suddenly disappeared from their sight as she was running in front of them. The man put away his gun before going to where Johanna had suddenly disappeared. Upon reaching the spot, he looked down and saw Johanna’s bloody body lying on large rocks; it turned out to be a deep canyon at the end of the tall grass, aside from Johanna’s body, countless human skeletons could be seen. It was apparent at first glance that this was a vast disposal site for bodies.
The two men left with a smile, confirming that Johanna was no longer breathing.
….
…
Lucas was sitting outside the villa, gazing at the vast view in front of him. When the door of the villa opened and three people emerged.
Victoria spotted Lucas before approaching. “Come, let’s explore the entire place,” Victoria said with a smile..
Lucas stood up, nodded, and walked towards the couple, Rozzo. After a few moments, two golf carts arrived in front of them. Vivian and Victoria boarded the first cart, while Lucas and Xavier got on the next one. The carts started moving, circling the beautiful villa.
The mother and daughter chatted happily in front, with Vivian pointing out various things before explaining them to Victoria. Lucas and Xavier smiled upon seeing this.
“The view you see has been planned by Vivian for a long time. She said that when Victoria understands more, she will bring her to this place and show her the meaningful things surrounding the garden. To others, these may just be decorations, but for Vivian, each ornament carries a deep significance, and she wants to plant those profound words in Victoria’s heart,” Xavier explained to Lucas while still looking ahead.
Lucas smiled and nodded in agreement. “Victoria is lucky to have parents who help her understand things,” he said.
Xavier noticed a hint of bitterness in Lucas’ words. He looked at Lucas and asked, “Where are your parents?”
“I don’t have parents. They were gone when I was young. I only have my grandfather left. He’s not my real grandfather, but he treated me as his own grandchild. Since he was also alone in life, he took me in. I grew up with him, so I worked hard to lift him out of poverty and also to find the woman who saved me when I was young, that woman is none other than Victoria,” Lucas explained with a smile.
Xavier was surprised by the deep past of Lucas, but based on his narrative, Xavier knew that there were things Lucas didn’t mention, so he didn’t ask further. He thought that their experiences with Victoria were somewhat similar. ‘Maybe destiny brought them together,’ Xavier thought.
He tapped Lucas on the shoulder. “Take care of my daughter. She’s the only one we have. As her husband, you’re part of this family, so if you need anything or have any problems in the future, just let me know, and I’ll do everything I can to help,” Xavier said.
“Thank you, uncle,” Lucas replied.
“Oh, just call me dad,” Xavier said.
“Thanks, Dad,” Lucas said.
Xavier laughed upon being called dad by Lucas and felt happy to have a good son-in-law. “Great, my great son-in-law,” he happily said.
After hearing the joyous laughter behind them, Vivian and Victoria looked back. “What are you two talking about back there?” Vivian asked.
Xavier laughed before instructing Lucas, “Call your mother too,” he said gleefully.
“Mom,” Lucas said to Vivian.
“Hmm… What mom?” she replied grumpily.
Victoria suddenly felt nervous. “Is there a problem, Mom?” she asked.
Vivian looked at Victoria strangely, studying her face and body before turning to Lucas, “When will I have a grandchild? You two have been together for so long but nothing has been formed yet. Have you ever laid together in bed?” She inquired before continuing, “Do not call me ‘mom’ until you have shared a bed.”
Victoria breathed a sigh of relief after hearing Vivian’s words but suddenly turned red. “Mom, Lucas and I have done it together several times, but only on my safe days,” she whispered shyly.
“Oh my goodness! No one’s leaving today. You’ll sleep here. I’ll prepare supplements to help you conceive a child,” Vivian said seriously.
Victoria bowed her head shyly, Lucas glanced at Victoria before taking a deep breath and looking at Vivian, “Yes, we will stay here tonight,” he said helplessly, thinking it would be meaningless to refuse.
Vivian smiled, “Good, it’s settled then.”
Victoria looked at Lucas, her beautiful face turning red. Lucas just smiled when he noticed Victoria looking at him.
The group continued their tour until nightfall. After eating, Lucas and Victoria took a bath in their room. Vivian prepared a pair of pajamas for both, giving Victoria an enticing silk dress as sleepwear, making sure Lucas would not refuse her offer for the night.
Lucas and Victoria were in the same room, and Lucas couldn’t help but swallow hard when he saw Victoria’s alluring figure and appearance in her nightwear. Victoria felt embarrassed as she noticed Lucas’s gaze, her face blushing with shyness.
There was a knock on their door, and Vivian entered with a servant carrying two bowls of soup. “Please drink this soup I made. It will help you conceive a child,” Vivian said with a smile.
Lucas and Victoria exchanged glances before taking the soup and sipping it. Vivian did not leave until she made sure that they finished the soup. Once the two were done, she smiled and left the room, telling them to enjoy the night.
As Vivian left, Lucas locked the door, knowing his body was starting to feel warm, and Victoria felt the same. They felt a heat rising within them as they glanced at each other. Unable to resist the growing heat, Lucas swallowed hard as he saw Victoria’s beautiful body and appearance. Sensing Lucas’s gaze, Victoria approached and kissed him.
