MELINA
Melina flinches as Thomas touches her shoulders. Turning to face him, she sees blood all over his body. Her bile rises, and she spills her guts all over him. Thomas doesn’t say anything as he pulls her hair out of her face. She couldn’t believe what she had just witnessed. The video was one thing but what Melina saw a few minutes ago was something else. Looking at Thomas, she tries her best not to look at the two dead men on the ground.
Thomas takes off his shirt and cleans her mouth and bloody nose with the unaffected side before lifting her off the ground. She stares at him, wondering if he killed those men because they tried to rape her or just because they tried to rape a “woman”. She wishes it were the first because it would imply that hatred isn’t his only emotion for her. She isn’t fooling herself into thinking that because he killed those men for her, he still loves her. It just means that he can feel another emotion for her after she betrayed him. She smiles, hoping that someday Thomas will treat her like a human being.
Thomas drops her on the edge of the tub in his bathroom. Melina was so engrossed in her thoughts that she didn’t know when they arrived.
“Take a shower, then go to your room to start packing.”
“Why?”
“We are flying to Chicago tomorrow.”
“Chicago?” Melina is excited to hear they are visiting her hometown. She never imagined she’d leave this place.
“Yes.”
“And I am coming along.”
“Would I ask you to pack your stuff to stare at them?”
“No,” she says, wondering why he’s taking her with him. Thomas knows she’s from Chicago. Maybe he’s taking her because he needs her help around the city.
“You can wear whatever you find in my closet when you’re done. I will be back soon with extra towels for you,” Thomas says as he walks to the bathroom door.
“Thank you, and thanks for saving me tonight.”
“You’re mine, Melina. I am the only one who is allowed to inflict pain on you,” Thomas says as he walks out of the bathroom. Melina shakes her body as a chill settles in her bones. Thomas’ possessiveness over her frightens her. She wishes it doesn’t take her life one day.
He returns with a towel and a first aid kit a few minutes later. Thanking him for both, she tries to reach for the first aid kit, but he slaps her hand away and places it on the ground. Melina furrows her brows. Why did he bring it if he didn’t want her to use it?
Opening the first aid kit, he takes out a cotton bud and dips it in spirit. He grabs her chin and lifts her head. Melina looks at him, shocked he wants to tend to her wounds.
“Hold on my arm. It’s going to sting.” Melina grabs his hand holding her chin. His ripped chest is an inch away from her face. Swallowing hard, she looks up at his face when she notices his eyes are fixed on her body. Following his gaze, she finds his eyes roaming her breast and exposed thighs. She quickly pulls her dress down and wraps her arms around her breast. Thomas shifts his gaze away from her body and locks eyes with her. She can see the lust swimming in his eyes. Feeling his gaze is too intense, Melina looks down, and her eyes land on his perfect body. Her thighs clench together, and she realizes she isn’t even wearing underwear. She’s fucked.
Clearing his throat, Thomas begins cleaning her nose without warning. Melina screams, grabbing the first thing she comes across, Thomas’ member. Her core throbs as it enlarges in her hand. She looks up to him, praying in her heart he won’t kill her for what she just did.
“Melina, if you don’t want me to fuck you, which I don’t think is a good idea after what you just went through. “Please let my dick go.”
“Sorry,” she says softly, letting go. She couldn’t believe Thomas was considerate of her. He wasn’t earlier today, but two weeks had passed, so she’d give him that.
“Clean your wounds, shower, and leave,” he says as he walks out of the bathroom, discarding the cotton bud.
He must have left because it was hard for him to continue standing here and not have sex with her. Her heart swells because of this little thing he did. Smiling, she takes off her clothes and hops into the shower. She is optimistic that things will improve for her soon.
