Kylee bursted out in laughter.
“When did it start?” She asked.
“What?”
“The obsession, with her”
“I can’t remember. Help me, the date is the day after tomorrow”
I turned sharply to the right, something had caught my eyes in the window. It was Adeline. She was peeking from the window and waving at me.
I frowned, Kylee followed my line of vision.
“That woman still wants you on her bed” I shot Kylee a stare.
“What, remember that you fucked her a lot of times in the past. She still remembers and I’m sure she craves it. Look at her”
“When Jenna asked who she was, I said she was nobody and she is nobody. Don’t let your tongue slip”
“So you denied that you used to fuck her before?”
“She asked if Adeline was my ex sub and I said no, because you and I know she was only someone I uses to warm my bed. We went our separate ways, when she needed money, I employed her and pain her more than I should have, I still pay her more but she can’t be coming around me… Not when I’m engaged. She can’t ruin that ”
Kylee nodded and I turned to see that Adeline had left the window. Kylee and I went to see that Adeline was sitting on the dining table. Panic spread through me as I saw Adeline talking to Jenna.
I slipped into my set and Adeline gave her winning smile.
“Mr Christian, I see that you haven’t told Jenna that you’re going on a date with Lacey ”
Jenna was playing with her food on the plate.
“What are you doing here” Kylee asked and Adeline shrugged.
“I went to the house and the guys over there told me Christian was here”
“Why did you come?” Kylee asked again.
“I wanted to follow Mr Christian to the event”
“Leave ” I spoke.
Adeline turned to me, when she read my expression, she froze and stood up. She turned to look at Kylee.
“You’re still his little pet” she snarled and she left before anyone could say anything.
Everything went quiet again.
JENNA
I listened to the silence and I tried not to laugh.. Christian was watching me, so was Kylee. They were waiting for a reaction from me and if they didn’t get any, they would try to convince me that Adeline was lying about the date, or they’ll say she’s mad.
In actually, I had seen the date set with Christian on a gossip website when I was researching his charity event. The deadlines red MR CHRISTIAN ALEXANDER, AN AUCTION ITEM!!!
There were lost of fire and spicy emojis, I couldn’t not tap it out of curiosity. I had totally forgotten about it but Adeline reminded me. I was not angry at all, but I would let them talk to me.
If it meant that they would start talking to each other like normal friends.
“Jenna…” Christian started.
“Let me handle this” Kylee cut in.
“No, I want to explain” Christian said, they were both so scared.
I held back another giggle.
“Christian didn’t willingly chose to go on a date”
“I didn’t, I was auctioned off and there was no way to say no”
“He was trying to distract them from the relationship of the both of you, since you said you’re not ready yet”
Christian nodded, I busted out in laughter.
“What?” Kylee asked.
“I knew about the date. I’m not angry, I’d rather go out, see the island. Yesterday, when Kylee and I were on our spree, I saw really beautiful places”
“Okay… Okay…, Let’s go” Christian said and I beamed.
