Chapter 26 Make A Deal

Book:Let Me Go, Sugar Daddy Published:2025-2-8

Lillian walked past Evelyn without a glance, her face blank.
“Oh, you must be feeling pretty smug, huh?” Evelyn taunted.
Lillian turned on the faucet, letting the water drown out Evelyn’s voice.
Evelyn stepped closer, her face twisted with envy. “Two powerful men fighting over you-bet you’re loving it, aren’t you, Lillian?”
“Hey, you can enjoy it if you want.” Lillian dried her hands, looking Evelyn over slowly. “Why do you have that look on your face like your sex life is in trouble? Isn’t Conrad yours now? Or are you upset that he’s second-hand? Used by me?”
Evelyn’s face twisted in anger. “How dare you say that about Conrad! You’re the one who seduced him, you vixen!”
“Here’s a fun fact: when it comes to sex, a woman can’t do the full job alone. If he can’t get an erection, how could I have sex with him? Besides, your precious Conrad doesn’t need me to seduce him. From the very first time we met, he was not a good guy. He wanted to have sex with me, but pretended otherwise.”
Evelyn shook with rage.
Lillian just looked at her and smirked. “Wow, I only said a couple of things, and you’re already so mad? How are you going to handle him long-term?”
Conrad might be a pain, with that nasty temper, but his looks and money made sure he never lacked women. Back when they were together, people warned her about him all the time; she’d just gotten used to it. If Evelyn got worked up this easily, her life with him was going to be rough.
“It’s none of your business. Conrad won’t let anyone else challenge me like this. I’m not like you,” Evelyn shot back, lifting her chin and giving Lillian a condescending look.
“Fine, you’re not like me. But if you’re so special, why rush in here to fight with me? Anyone looking would think you care more about me than him.” Lillian gave her a mocking look. “Or are you scared I’ll run off with Gordon too, and you’ll be left with nothing?”
The way Lillian taunted her, with that look, for a moment Evelyn felt like she was looking at Conrad himself. They say lovers start to look alike over time, and Evelyn’s heart twisted painfully as Lillian seemed to hit a nerve she didn’t want to be touched.
Because, despite everything, Conrad hadn’t actually slept with her. Not once.
Everyone assumed Conrad treated her differently, always indulging her, and agreeing to everything she asked for. He’d changed her life dramatically-she’d gone from window-shopping at luxury stores to actually owning those things, from getting by to a lifestyle where every small accessory she wore could make her friends gasp with envy. And she loved every bit of it.
This was all because of Conrad.
She had the luxury cars, the high-end hotels, the promise of an elite college, her future looking brighter than she ever imagined. The person she used to be felt like a stranger now.
She couldn’t give this up-she wouldn’t.
“Don’t get cocky. All those things of yours? They’ll be mine sooner or later.”
Lillian dried her hands, noticing Evelyn still standing there, then crossed her arms and leaned against the sink. “All my things? If I left, I wouldn’t care about any of it. Just tell Conrad, and I’m sure he’ll hand it over. What, haven’t moved into Taylor Mansion yet?”
Evelyn shot her a glare, feeling Lillian was doing this on purpose. “As if I’d want something you’ve been living in. Conrad said he’d give me something even better.”
Lillian nodded. “Oh, well, congrats then.” She turned as if to leave, but suddenly stopped and looked back.
“What else do you have to say?” Evelyn asked, full of contempt.
Lillian leaned in close, looking at her. Evelyn had always thought Lillian was pretty, but this was the first time she saw, up close, just how flawless her features really were-even without makeup, there wasn’t a single flaw to pick out.
“How about we make a deal?” Lillian suggested.
Evelyn sneered. “You? What do you have that I’d ever want to buy?”
“I’m no luxury item, true, but I know how to get into Conrad’s bed. I’ve been by his side for three years-no one knows him better than I do. What he likes to eat, to wear, what puts him in a good mood, what colors he hates, the people who annoy him… All these little details, just for a price. Doesn’t that sound worth it?”
Evelyn scoffed. “Conrad won’t get mad at me. I don’t need that; keep it to yourself.” She turned to leave.
Lillian’s taunting voice called after her. “800 thousand dollars. I’ll practically give it away. Isn’t it worth it to make him love you more? Just say the word, and I’ll tell you everything.”
Evelyn slammed the door on her way out, fuming. Lillian! Oh, you’re really pushing it now, she thought. You think I’ll never make it to Conrad’s bed? That you’re irreplaceable? Cocky!
Lillian felt a bit let down. Wow, I guess Conrad doesn’t mean much to Evelyn either, she thought. Thought I could make some easy money.
Instead of going back right away, she took a seat at the end of the hallway, letting the cold air clear her mind.
Evelyn returned to the room first, still looking irritated.
Gordon glanced toward the door. “Miss Evelyn, didn’t you see my Lillian on your way back?”
My Lillian… Evelyn sneered. “Who knows? Maybe Miss Lillian’s got her hands full,” she said dryly.
Gordon just raised an eyebrow and went back to piling food onto Lillian’s plate.
Evelyn looked at Conrad’s injured hand, her brows drawing together as she leaned closer and whispered, “You don’t need to hurt yourself over that ungrateful woman. I’d never treat you like she does.”
Conrad said nothing, his face impassive.
Evelyn pressed her lips together and went on, almost in a murmur, “Earlier, she wanted me to pay her 800 thousand dollars for something.”
Conrad finally turned his head, squinting slightly. “For what?”
“For tips on how to get into your bed. Just 800 thousand, and she’d sell you out like that. A woman like that doesn’t deserve your anger.”
A short, harsh laugh escaped Conrad’s throat.
When the back door opened, Lillian barely had time to step aside before a strong hand yanked her up. She was shoved against the rough wall, cold wind swirling around them. The faint scent of alcohol clung to the man leaning over her.
“800 thousand dollars? You were going to sell me off for 800 thousand?”
“Lillian, you’re getting pretty bold these days, aren’t you?”
Lillian hadn’t expected him to come looking for her here, nor did she think Evelyn would run her mouth like that. And she actually told him!?
“It was a joke. What, is Miss Evelyn really that humorless? Or maybe, Conrad, you’ve just got a thing for women who can’t take a joke.”
Conrad grabbed her chin, forcing her to look up at him, his gaze studying her cold, indifferent face.
“And what about the Eternal Love necklace I gave you? 60 million for that piece-how much did you sell it for?”
How was she supposed to know? She’d just handed it over to Melissa; they hadn’t even set a price yet.
“1. 6 million. You really made sure I’d take a loss,” he said, his voice like something straight out of hell before sinking his teeth into her neck.
Lillian flinched in pain, but he held her close, their bodies pressed tight. The softness of her against his solid frame soon had both of them breathing heavily.
“Looks like we haven’t tried to have sex here yet. Wanna go for it? I’ll give you 800 thousand per round.”
Lillian scoffed. “I didn’t go so cheap when I sold myself to you in the first place. What, are you going broke, getting stingy like this? If you’re broke, don’t go trying to play around,” she added with a cold smirk. “At this price, I wouldn’t even stick around for a drink.”
But before she could finish, he was already kissing her.
The taste of his mouth carried a faint, sweet hint of blood, and that’s when she realized-he’d bitten her hard enough to draw blood.
This lunatic!
Just as she thought of kicking him, he hooked a hand under her leg, and was about to have sex with her.
