CHAPTER ONE-HUNDRED AND EIGHT
HARLEY’S POV
I left Burke’s room, excited about what I had just done. If Burke doesn’t want me to do it the normal way, then we will go through corners.
“You are coming from my father’s room, aren’t you?” I heard Nikky’s voice from behind me; the little girl was getting on my nerves.
“I don’t hot little children but don’t make me spank you in the ass; treat me with respect; I’ll soon be your stepmother,” I groaned at her, and she Burst into a round of laughter.
“What the fuck is funny huh? Have some manners and shut the hell up,” I yelled, not knowing what I said that was wrong.
“First of all, you aren’t going to be my stepmother,” She said, still laughing and almost choking herself to death.
“Oh, you think so?” I asked rhetorically, as I scoffed at her ridiculous statement; three moons from now, I’ll be walking down the aisle with Burke, no matter what happens.
“I don’t so, Harley, I’ll stop the wedding from happening,” She said, looking serious.
“The only way you can stop the wedding is to bring your mother, I forgot you don’t have a mother,” I mocked her as I walked faster, wanting to end any conversation with Nikky.
“You killed her, have you forgotten?” Nikky said, making me stop walking.
“Did you just accuse me of killing Catherine without any proof?” I asked, wanting to deny the little child’s accusations; whatever she said, no one would believe her; they would think she was grieving.
“Yes, I did, and I’ll get you some proof very soon,” Nikky whispered before taking her back to walk away.
I rolled my eyes and decided to leave too.
“One more thing, Harley,” She called out, and I stopped walking again.
“What is the matter, Nikky? It better be worth my time,” I groaned at her, and she just chuckled.
“You don’t spank little children, you kill them. By sprinkling Tafana in their drinks,” She said, and the bottle of champagne in my hand fell.
“Don’t think I’m not aware of you being a witch, too; everyone has a secret,” I whispered to her, not wanting the guards to hear a single word.
“I am not hiding the fact I am a witch, a guy can tell anyone about that,” She whispered back, smiling.
“And you think I don’t know you work with El? You guys removed my memory so I wouldn’t remember a thing, but I’ll surely access my memory very soon,” I said, trying to reduce the attempt to drag her hair off her head.
“I work with El, and I made lose your memory of the time hour spent there, although I can give the memory back to you
“Watch your freaking back because I’m coming for you,” Nikky said with a strict voice before leaving.
Nikky is a little child, but I couldn’t deny the fear at the pit of my stomach and the shivers in my spine. A seven-month-old child made me almost pee on myself.
“Get this to the thrash,” I said to one of the guards pointing to the broken bottle of champagne and glass cups.
I walked away from there towards Ava’s room, trying to forget the treat Nikky made to me, although I couldn’t.
“Nikky is up to something and if we don’t act fast, that child will outsmart us,” I said, pushing Ava’s room door open without knocking.
“Learn to know,” She said, tapping one of her guards that was eating her pussy.
“Get the hell out,” she said to the guard, who immediately left us alone.
“Forget about that child. We will handle it; how did it go with Burke?” She asked, and I rolled my eyes at her.
Burke might be a lover boy, but that is the side she shows to only women he loves, which is Catherine; Burke would never touch me.
“I have him on the hook by noon, but Nikky is the worst; we need to tell her who the boss is; she witch just finished threatening the life out of me,” I yelled, panting heavily; I had not noticed I held my breath while Nikky spoke.
“I’ll handle her, just handle Burke for me,” She said, wearing her panties that were lying on the floor.
“You can’t handle Nikky alone. She might be a little child, but she has the powers of an elder; I can sense it, and I feel she is coming for us big time,” I explained, without my fear getting the better part of me.
“I’ll talk to El; we need her on our team,” Ava said; she was Right, but I didn’t think El would want to work with us; we did a lot of bullshit to her.
“El will never be on our side again; we broke her heart, and stripped her of her title, except you put a gun to her head; she won’t give a shit about us,” I remembered Ava, and she just smiled at me.
“Don’t you think I know that? If it means putting a bullet to her head and blowing it off, then I will,” Ava said, determined as she stamped her legs on the floor.
“Have you got any plans?” I asked Ava and she nodded.
“While you are busy fucking with my brother, I’ll be committing murder, cheers to that,” She said, smiling.
It was already noon, and Burke would be restless now, and that’s how I will fuck with him.
I wore a robe to cover my naked body before going to Burke’s room discreetly. I didn’t know why I was discrete, but I was anyway.
Soon I got to Burke’s room and pushed it open.
“Burke,” I whispered, approaching him, on his bed.
“Fuck, Catherine, I have missed you,” he said, restlessly as I climbed about him on the bed.
“Fuck yes, get that robe off your sexy body,” Burke said, with his voice husky, making my pussy want him more.
“As you wish,” I said, pulling the robe over my head.
