EVOLET
“How is that possible? But Cadell made sure he cleared everything linking to you, so how did she find you so quickly?” Trent was stunned by what we told him.
We sat together in the living room talking about last night’s incident. Mom was fast asleep, so we had no problem having our meeting here in the opened room. I just needed an open space to puff out the steam dwelling inside me.
“That’s the same question I’ve been asking myself. How was she able to find Evolet? I didn’t leave anything behind!” Cadell vented out pacing about.
He has been restless all night because of what happened, and it took away my peace as well. He’s very worried. Way troubled than me, who’s the target here. And honestly… I feel bad.
“She made an innocent deer a demon in seconds. Imagine what she’ll do next when she senses Evolet again,” Trent pointed out, drawing closer to a worried Cadell. He placed his hand on his shoulder and said, “Relax, I’m sure we’ll solve this.”
Cadell looked into Trent’s eyes and gave out a sigh, nodding at his words. “Yeah, I’m fine now. We’ll solve this,” he said, directing his gaze my way.
I stared back, letting out a smile to show Cadell that everything would be okay. He returned the gesture, getting himself back.
“So, what’s the plan? I’m already thinking of something and it’s great,” He said, patting Trent on the shoulder.
Knowing what he’s about to say… “No, we are not kidnapping Alpha Allen,” I refused at once.
Cadell frowned at me, crossing his arms and muttering, “My idea is good. Kidnap the sucker, break his two legs, and get the truth from him. Then break all remaining bones.” He grumbled like a child, leaning against the wall.
We have been through this all night. Cadell kept hammering on kidnapping Allen for his so-called special treatment, which I know it’s going to be a horrifying idea.
“I don’t think Allen knows about this. It’s just Queen Chriselda and Sorceress Thelma. All we need to do is find a way to step into the mansion and search around. I’m sure we’re going to find something,” I said, sharing my plan.
The guys were fine with it, but they felt it would be risky. “You know you’re no longer in the hunt. If the Queen sees you there, won’t it bring suspicion?” Trent asked.
But I already had a plan in mind. “I’m sure it’ll be fine when I have a rough Wolf by my side. Isn’t that right, Cadell?” I smirked at Pervy Wolf.
He immediately grabbed my message, smirking back at me. “Right. Then it’s settled.”
“We’ll execute our plan during the final match. Since everyone would be present, my presence won’t be an issue. Don’t worry, we’re going to make things right.”
We all agreed on the plan, getting ready for that day.
Later, I went to check up on Cadell, who was alone in the room. Trent went somewhere important, giving me the chance to be with Pervy wolf.
I know he’s worried about what is going on, and I can’t help but feel guilty.
It’s my fault Sorceress Thelma sensed my energy. If I wasn’t so desperate to explore my powers, Cadell wouldn’t be so bothered by now.
I caused this.
I was standing at the door watching him but soon got tired and went inside the room, approaching him. Cadell saw me and began to tease me, calling me a stalker. “You just can’t take your eyes off me for a day, huh Stalky Stalker?” He laughed.
Instead of reacting like I usually do, I just smiled, carefully got into bed where he laid, and wrapped myself on him.
His eyes shimmered at my action. He stared into my eyeballs without saying anything, and slowly smiled at me with his arm wrapping me from the waist closely.
Looking at him, I said innocently, “I was feeling lonely. I hope you don’t mind?”
“I should be asking you that question. I hope you don’t mind cuddling with me?” he smirked, running his finger on my face.
I felt my cheeks flushing at his touch. It made it hard for me to stare at him for long without turning red. “Well, I don’t. We have been in this room together for some time, so it’s not issue.”
“But not like this,” he pointed out, caressing my lips. “We don’t stay this way all the time. Just rarely. And…” He smiled at me, “I love it.”
I blushed, feeling my heart getting warm.
“It’s always interesting when you play hard to get, when your body clearly wants the opposite. I find it fascinating.”
“You’re crazy. My body knows what it wants, and it ain’t you,” I defended, poking his nose.
He chuckled and said, “I read you loud and clear, my stubborn stalker. Your body doesn’t want me, but mine does.” He flashed his eyes, turning me over instantly.
His action didn’t cause me to freak out. I just felt calm and eager to see where he was going with this.
Now I had my back down on the bed with Cadell facing me from above. He carefully got on me with his hands running through my skin, slowly dropping that tempting body of his on mine, with his lips trailing my body.
My eyes went shut, feeling his touch on my sensitive parts. A moan escaped my lips as I carefully ran my hands on his body, tempted to drag him down on me as much as possible.
As we kept this going, an image of the forest flashed in my head. It’s the same one I had when Cadell and I were touching like this in my room for the first time. That was the next day after I got evicted from the hunt.
The blurry image of the forest became clear. There were two lovers making out under the moonlight, feeling each other’s touch passionately.
Now I could see them clearly!
Those two lovers were Luna Violet and Cadell! They were getting intimate!
When this vision flashed in my head with Cadell’s image showing our passionate he was with the Luna, my body vibrated immediately, forcing me to stop him.
“What happened?” He asked, watching how I sat up hurriedly, shivering.
The picture wouldn’t leave my head. Now I couldn’t wipe it off.
Just then, my Mom came knocking on the door. She was awake and needed my help in getting supper ready.
“I’m coming,” I said, about to get off the bed. But Cadell held me back, forcing me to look at him.
His brow lifted at me, questioning my sudden behave, “Why did you stop me?”
“Oh, it’s nothing,” I denied, grinning at him. Then I pulled my hand away and rushed out of the room, still feeling the heat from what I saw.
“Cadell and Luna Violet were having… Why am I even bothered? It was already obvious that they were close. I’m not supposed to get all worked up about what I saw.”
I think I’m lying to myself.
I couldn’t take it out of my brain! The image was… Gosh! Why am I upset about it?!
.
That evening, Mom was getting ready to leave for work. Just as she opened the door to leave, we were immediately stunned by Derby’s presence.
“Good evening,” she greeted, waving at my mother and I.
“Derby, you’re here!” I smiled, remembering her promise over our phone call this morning. At least she’s here. Now we can have so much fun together.
“Oh, I didn’t know you were coming, Derby,” Mom said, smiling at her. She has come to like her presence even more. It’s like she had a daughter outside, who didn’t live here with us.
“Now, don’t let me return here in the morning to meet this place messy, Eve. You girls should have a lovely evening.”
“Sure, Mom,” I responded.
“Bye Ma’am!” Derby waved, as we both watched my mother distancing herself from the house and into the night.
Once I locked the door, Derby happily got on the couch and grabbed the remote, saying, “Time for a wild night, sister! We’re going to have the best night of our lives!”
“You’re acting like the best night won’t end when you head home,” I smiled, sitting with her. That’s when Cadell and Trent came into the room in their animal form, surprised to see Derby. Trent was more surprised than Cadell though.
“Um, best night? This is a sleepover, Silly. What did you think?” She smirked, laying fully on the couch with her head falling on my laps.
“Sleepover?!” I was astonished to hear this from Derby. “But you never mentioned that in the morning!”
“I didn’t?” She widened her eyes innocently, before grinning at me saying, “It must have skipped my mind. But I’m here now. HURRAH!” She clapped.
This is unexpected. I’ve never had a sleepover before and now we have one?! Not just that, she didn’t come with any of her things to show it’s indeed a sleepover!
“Did you pack your sleeping kits in your ass or what? I don’t see any bag anywhere.” I glared.
“Now you’re being mean,” she frowned, smacking me on the face.
“Ouch!” I exclaimed, groaning at Derby who quickly got off the couch to avert my attack.
“I got so excited that I forgot my bag at home. But there’s no crime if I share a dress with you for the night. In fact…” She began unbuttoning her shirt right in front of us! “This cloth is killing me.”
“Oh God,” I uttered, looking back to see the shock on Trent’s face. Only that pervy wolf sat closer for a better view, looking delighted.
Seeing this, I immediately grabbed Derby to my room, so she’d change there. “You can have this dress,” I said, giving her one of my night wear.
“Sweet! Thanks Eve,” she rejoiced, changing out of her clothes quickly.
Watching how excited she was over this unplanned sleepover, I asked, leaning against the wardrobe, “Are your parents okay with you sleeping here?”
“Oh yeah, they are! I just told them I was going to spend the night with my bestie and all they did was shrug and wish me well,” she said, getting into my dress. “Me like it! Can I keep it for life?” She begged, twirling in it.
And who am I to say no to that pretty face? “Alright, it’s yours.”
“YES!” She cheered, dashing out of my room. “I’ll put the movie on!”
“Okay!” I responded, changing into my night dress.
Soon, we were both sitting on the couch, watching the movie Derby talked about. It was a romance tale of a girl who wants the man she loves to see her for who she is.
When I stared at the girl in the movie, I saw myself in her. The man she was crazy about became Pervy wolf in my eyes, making it hard for me to look away.
“This is the real me, Oliver! Stop taking me as Casey! Just stop it!” the actress yelled, looking hurt.
Seeing this, I thought about Cadell and Luna Violet, feeling myself in this girl’s place. “I’m carrying Luna Violet’s wolf in me. Cadell and the Queen were very close in the past. Is it that he sees me as the Luna and not Evolet?” I directed my eyes at Cadell, who laid next to the couch getting bored of the drama.
The thought of it made my heart… ache. I feel sad just thinking about it. “It’s not as if I care. I’m just saying,” I lied to myself, trying to hide how I felt. “He’s a crazy man after all.”
I navigated my eyes at Derby and found her crying. Looks like she’s engrossed in the movie more than me. She was so focused with her wet eyes dripping tears.
Can’t she feel it flowing down her cheeks?
“I need to take this,” I grinned cunningly, reaching for my phone while giggling.
Derby didn’t know what I was planning until I took her pics and laughed out loudly. “So cute!” I cackled, showing her the picture.
She was stunned and immediately wiped her eyes, denying the photo. “I’m not crying! I think something got into my eyes.”
“Really? Your eyes were streaming out like a waterfall and you say something got into your eyes? Sweet denial,” I laughed again, bumping her shoulder.
Derby smiled faintly and said, looking at the movie, “Fine, you got me. The movie is really nice. Didn’t expect it to hit me that hard.”
“Yeah, it is,” I agreed, knowing what I felt on seeing that scene.
Suddenly, Trent, who was sitting close to a bored Cadell, walked up to us and got on the couch. I thought he was running away from Cadell, but I was wrong.
He surprised me by getting on Derby, caressing himself on her. That left me gazing in shock, wondering what got into his head. “Is his Cat instinct kicking in or what?” I couldn’t tell.
All I could see from this amazing scenario was my Alpha Cat feeling happy with Derby, melting her heart with his sweetness. She got emotional and held Trent close, embracing him tightly in her arms.
“Kitty, you’re so sweet! Do you want some kisses? Oh yes you do, my little tiger,” She played with him, kissing his face happily.
I didn’t bother to say anything but admired them both. “Looks like he’s slowly getting attached to Derby without me lifting a finger. It’s nice.”
All of a sudden, Cadell jumped on my lap, cuddling himself on me. The big head wanted the same thing Trent was getting.
Jealous Wolf.
“You deserve a cold water on your body,” I said, rolling my eyes at him.
Cadell whimpered, poking his paw at my stomach like a child. When I saw this, I gave in like a weak mother to her crying baby.
“Come here,” I invited, opening my arms. He didn’t hesitate to jump on me, rubbing his face on mine.
I chuckled, petting him.
It’s hard to ignore him. He’s still my Pervy wolf.
