“She is all by herself, boss. This is the perfect time to take her. Give us the order and consider it done.” One of the men said into the phone with his eyes still glued to Lily as she headed back to the hospital on foot.
A sigh was heard from the line, a sign of hesitation from Louis and one of the men concluded that Louis wouldn’t be able to give the order since Lily was his ex-girlfriend. So, he gave a sign to the man who was on the call with him, telling him to go ahead with the initial plan regardless of what Louis instructs.
“What is your conclusion, boss?” The man asked, hoping Louis would go ahead with the plan but, there was still hesitation from him so, they decided to end the call and kidnap Lily before she was completely out of sight.
They left their hiding place and began approaching Lily but just as they were about to get close to her, Tony came out of nowhere and wrapped his hands around her, oblivious to what was about to happen. The men immediately took a U-turn and returned to their hiding place.
“Where did you go all by yourself, Lily,” Tony asked with a mix of worry and annoyance in his tone.
“Tony! How did you find me? I wanted to get these flowers for Rachael. You know she loves flowers.” Lily replied cheerfully, showing him the bouquet she had just purchased and Tony’s anger immediately vanished.
“Oh, Lily.” He sighed. She looked like a child who had just been promised a trip to Disney land. “You got these flowers because Rachael likes them?”
Lily nodded happily, her eyes filled with hope. “Things have not been great with us so, I got this for her with the hope that it would cheer her up and maybe get her to forgive me.” She replied with a smile that melted Tony’s heart.
“Alright, Lily but you have to be careful. Louis is still out there. You shouldn’t be out this late on your own. If there’s a place you want to go, let me know and I’ll take you there myself, okay?” Tony said, patting her head softly.
“I just didn’t want to bother you. I know how busy you are at the hospital. It would be insensitive of me to bother you.” Lily said, lowering her face. She knew she had made him worry.
“I don’t mind putting a pause on my work, Lily. As long as your safety is guaranteed, I will do anything.”

Tony walked Lily back to the hospital and informed her that they would be leaving at exactly midnight since that was when her shift would end.
As Tony approached his office, he saw his secretary waiting by his door.
“Dr Martinez!” She called out.
“Is there a problem?” He asked and she shook her head.
“No, Sir. I just wanted to inform you that the new male nurses are here. Since they were sent by your friend, I thought you’d want to see them first.” She said.
“Ah!” Tony exclaimed.
He had forgotten about that. His friend, Jaime who had a hospital in Canada sent some Male nurses to TM hospital to help since Tony complained about the rise of patients in his hospital.
“Where are they? I should greet them myself.”
“This way, Dr.” The secretary said and led him to the last floor. The said nurses were all seated in a room, waiting to be assigned to their various doctors.
When Tony walked in, he was shocked to see that there were eight of them when Jaime had promised just six.
Perhaps, he changed his mind. He made a mental note to call and thank his friend later.
As the nurses sighted him, they all stood up and greeted him with a bow.
“Welcome to TM Hospital. I look forward to working with you.” Tony greeted each of them with a handshake.
A few minutes later, Tony was done with them and returned to his office. As he walked away, two of the male nurses, glanced at each other and nodded before excusing themselves.
They walked to a secluded part of the hospital where they were sure they wouldn’t get caught and one of them brought out his phone.
“Did you hear that, boss? He didn’t suspect a thing.” The one with dark hair said into the phone which had been on a call all through their discussion with Tony.
“That’s good. Keep an eye on both of them and go ahead with the plan once an opportunity presents itself. I can’t trust Louis to do this. He might want to save that girlfriend of his.” Draco’s voice could be heard from the phone.
“Yes, boss.” They both replied and ended the call before returning to the room to join the others.

Just like Tony promised, they left the hospital at exactly midnight and Lily couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful the flowers were. As they neared the house, Tony hoped that Rachael was asleep already so that he could speak to her before Lily.
The last thing he wanted from Rachael was to reject the flower and ruin Lily’s mood. She had not been this happy in a while thanks to Louis. So, now that she was in a good mood, he was going to make sure she stayed that way for a long time.
Just as Tony is about to step into the house, his phone dings and he halts to check who it is.
“Do I head in first?” Lily asked when she noticed that he was no longer beside her.
“No, no. I’ll come with you.” He smiled at her and tucked his phone back into his pocket, telling himself that he was going to check it later.
The house was as quiet as a graveyard with most of the lights switched off. This meant that Rachael and Daisy were already fast asleep, as well as the workers.
“I guess I’ll have to give this to her tomorrow then,” Lily said with a sad pout.
“I’ll help you preserve them,” Tony suggested, taking the flowers from her. He was relieved that they were all asleep. It gave him the time to speak to his sister and have her behave.
“Goodnight then, Tony.” Lily yawned and waved at him but, Tony reached out to her and kissed her on her forehead instead.
“Goodnight, Lily.” He said and caressed her cheek which was as red as a tomato.
Lily headed to her room while Tony to his and as soon as he got in, he decided to check who the text was from. When he opened his mail, a smirk appeared on his face as he saw the text.
It was from the desk of Mehdi King and it read;
[Dear, Tony Martinez. You are invited to the birthday ceremony of our CEO, Mehdi King. Please note that it is an all-white party as it signifies the pure heart of our dearest CEO. You are to come with a partner. We hope to see you.]
